- Kerry (10/5): You’ll love your stay at Villa Meliya. - Villa Meliya is beautifully appointed with onsite staff who take your breakfast order the day before, produce a beautiful breakfast at or just before the chosen time and clear everything away and wash up. The Villa is cleaned daily for you. There’s always someone onsite to help. Behind the big rolling gate, you feel secluded and very very comfortable. The bedrooms are opulently big, with gorgeous bathrooms, the indoor-outdoor lounge enormous and very well appointed and the large kitchen available for your use at all times. The hot and cold bottled water dispenser in the kitchen is a godsend. One tiny thing - a deteriorated board in the decking beside the beautiful pool will need replacing soon. The villa looks absolutely stunning but a couple of slightly worn kitchen cupboard doors show that it is of some age. We stayed five days and only saw three minor things that weren’t absolutely perfect.

The villa was bigger than I thought and was very clean and well kept. The pool was huge. We really enjoyed our stay. There wasn't much around in walking distance but the staff at our villa were happy to drive us into central Canggu.

The property is truly tranquil and relaxing and the bedrooms were very comfortable. We loved the open plan space and it was just perfect for us. Thank you so much To make this properly even better we would suggest the following: the kitchen is quite dated with appliances looking very very worn didn’t give us the luxury feeling or inspire us to want to cook, a coffee machine would have been great so we didn’t have to order from outside everyday. The sunbeds were very uncomfortable they need cushions & the swimming pool was slightly too cold to really enjoy. These are just some small suggestions but didn’t really impact our stay that much

They took the time to care for all of our family and never once said no. Would love to go back! The only thing was the noise from the Main Street which made difficulty for the children sleeping at the front of the house as it was close to the road with building work going on opposite. Sure that will change once the area has been developed.

The staff were always so friendly and willing to provide any assistance, being a text away on WhatsApp at all times and able to help with transport too. The breakfast each morning was amazing, freshly squeezed juice and fruit platters, along with the choice of an American or Indonesian freshly cooked breakfast, no need to say anymore!

Organising hiring us a scooter, dropping us off to dinner, nothing was too much trouble. There is nothing to not like about this place.

Esta, the manager, is very hospitable and takes very good care of us. He is able to ferry us around to venues nearby. There are 4 big rooms, each with its own toilet. Very suitable for families or a large group of friends. Its not exactly next to a beach or any attractions. Hence will require transport
