• Merghani (1/5): Bad - Nothing: kitchen filthy, dirty broken kitchen bin, inadequate cutlery and cooking utensils, rusted washing up rack, dirty kitchen and bathroom floors, only 2 out of 4 cooking rings working, master bedroom not functional, mattresses very hard, missing bellows, one toilet roll would have been nice, kitchen work surfaces greasy, all beds had no top sheets. See above !

• Matilde (7/5): Good - Nice and quiet neighborhood with everything within walking distance, note however that all attractions will be on the other side of the Nile (expect to spend 15 EGP for the public ferry). The host was very understanding of our requests, and acted promptly the day that the water went out. - pigeon poop on the blanket in the wardrobe (beware of the pigeons in general) - two bath towels were provided, but we were three people - no toilet paper - nothing to clean the dishes with - wifi stopped working after the first day
• Vaibhav (8/5): Very good - Easily commutable to east bank by ferry which is only 10 mins walkable distance.
• Gergely (10/5): Exceptional - The location is perfect, very close to the ferry, and enough remote to escape from the traffic. A little bit tricky to find the right pass to the house, but pictures from the net can help. The apartment is spacious and well equiped, wifi is good. The fridge was a little bit noisy.
• Shyaam (10/5): Amazing apartment in an authentic village - Very nice apartment with good decor and excellent finish. Lovely view of the lush green fields from the balcony,. Sunrise, sunset, stars were all enjoyable from the balcony. The owner Mohammed was very sweet. He arranged for a sunrise hotel balloon ride as well. The location was in an authentic, clean, beautiful village. 700 m walk to the boat peer to take the public ferry for east bank. There's also a very well stocked vegetable shop nearby, and convenience stores as well. Also, the kitchen was fantastic and very well equipped. • Melissa (6/5): Pleasant - The location was great. Like having a fridge and freezer. Liked having a couch and table to use. The bathroom was not very clean. There was nothing to wash the dishes with and the kitchen didn't feel very clean. We were only given 2 towels when there was 4 of us. There was only one roll of toilet paper for 4 of us for 2 nights. The blankets on the bed were incredibly thick plus they didn't look like they could be washed so we didn't use them. The wifi didn't work. A guy tried to fix it but you could see a broken cable on the outside of the building so we knew what the problem was and why it wouldn't work. The stairway up to the apartment was rather dirty and had bird poo throughout. We enjoyed the west side but we would choose to stay somewhere else.
• David (10/5): Wonderful experience and beautiful views! - The property is beautiful, the entire apartment has a wonderful energy and some great art pieces on the walls. The views of Luxor temple are incredible and all round a great experience There was nothing I didn’t like. I made an error at the end by leaving the key inside I hope this wasn’t to much trouble for you

It's one of the best accomodations in Egypt we've booked during more than 2 month traveling and working. Our contact Mohamed picked us up after our arrival (late) and he organized a balloon tour (highly recommended). We've switched from No. 5 downstairs into apartment no. 1 and it was very dark in the kitchen and bath (no natural light because of walls in front of the windows).

It was so cheap, the village was lovely, the host was really kind and helpful, the apartment is comfortable, with air conditioner and all, perfect location for the Valley of the Kings, Queens etc., very close to the ferry to go on the other side. There is also a washing machine. Beautiful view from the terrace. We loved it and would come back again if we ever travel to Louxor again. Thank you so much! Nothing, it was perfect.
