- Ahmet Metin (2/5): Ucuz etin yahnisi olmaz - Otele giriş yaptım ve sizin göndermiş olduğunuz formu olumsuz olarak değerlendirdim., O gün odam temizlenmedi. Gerekçe olarak kapı önündeki düğmeye basmamamış olmam gösterildi. Otel de 16 oda var ve çoğu boş. Bence kasıtlı olarak odam temizlenmedi. Odaya her gün ikram edilen suyu bile koymamışlardı. Odam meyhanelerin bulunduğu sokağa baktığı için sabah kadar gürültü vardı ve küfürlü konuşmaları gece boyunca dinledim. Tuvaletlerden ağır koku geliyor.

- Safak (2/5): - Es roch nach Zigarettenrauch und wir haben nicht das gebuchte Zimmer erhalten sondern wurden downgraded, so dass wir ein kleines zur Straße hin ausgerichtetes Zimmer hatten. Uns wurde garnicht geholfen sondern nur gesagt, dass Expedia nicht aktuell ist und daher solche Falschbuchungen zustande kommen.

I didn’t receive a welcome gift or free drink and the mini bar in the room was completely empty and was off. It states late check out but I was told by reception staff that late check out is at 12 but this is the normal check out time for most hotels.

Coffee at breakfast is instant coffee and really poor choice of food, only boiled egg available! Loud music EVERY NIGHT untill 1 am at least from pedestrian street. During check in I was given access to a wrong room. Staff almost does not speak English. Room sizes are much smaller than advertised here: a studio is 30 sq m instead of 54 as advertised.

Had to complain to get them to change to the room we were supposed to check in to. Also, access to cabs is terrible at this location as the taxis cannot pick up and drop off from the front of the hotel. Would not stay at this hotel nor this location again.

- Lutz (10/5): - Das Hotel liegt verkehrsgünstig an einer Marmaraystation (Bosporustunnelbahn quer durch Istanbul) in einer gut infrastrukturierten Umgebung. Die Zimmer sind sehr modern eingerichtet, das Personal sehr freundlich (spricht nicht immer Englisch). Der Fahrstuhl macht bei jedem Tastendruck ein Quietschgeräusch - lustig. Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert.

Ich hatte Glück, dass ich jedesmal vor der Tür stehen konnte. Ansonsten ist es ein echt tolles Hotel. Obwohl es weit vom Stadtzentrum liegt, bietet Marmaray eine schnelle Verbindung zum Zentrum. Würde wieder dort übernachten.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Clean but noisy - The room was clean which I really cared about. The personnel is helpful. But there are some cons: The hotel is located on a street where there are couple of taverns/pubs. If you're visiting in the summer time, taverns are playing (soft) music from the speakers set on the street for the people sitting on the outside tables. And it goes on until 2 AM in the morning. Closing the windows of the room doesn't help if your room is facing to this street. Remember to get earplugs. There were lots of mosquitos waiting for me as the windows were open (to freshen the room from the cigarette smell)... It wasn't a pleasant stay in the end but economical.

Yer yer sararmış ve yıpranmış. - Odada minibar var, içi bomboş. Sadece üstüne (dışına) 2 tane pet şişe su ve plastik bardak koymuşlar. Yani soğuk içme suyu bile yok. - Wifi var diyorlar, inanmayın. Kaç kez denediysem de bağlanamadım. - Sigara için gösterdikleri teras zifiri karanlık, bir tane ampul koymaktan imtina etmişler. - Check out için resepsiyona indiğimde görevli çekyatta fosur fosur uyuyordu, gözünü hafif aralayıp kartı oraya bırakabilirsiniz diyerek uykusuna devam etti. Özet olarak inanılmaz kötü bir konaklamaydı benim için, kesinlikle tavsiye etmiyorum.

- ROBERT (8/5): Kartal's best offer. - Everyone at the hotel was extremely helpful and genuinely concerned about my well being. Loads of restaurants in the area and a short walk away from the seafront. Recently restored with all in good working order. A 20 minute taxi ride to Sabiha airport.

Many places to eat around, from touristy restaurants seaside and more local and smaller places s fed streets in. We only stayed one night but would not hesitate to go back.
