- marie-josee (8/5): - Excellent location in La Spezia. Our host Cristina was an absolute GEM! I highly recommend this place. It is very small and crowded but when you travel alone or with a person and you are aware of it is fine.
The location is wonderful, you are walking distance of everything and nice walk to and from the train station.
There is a kettle in the room and also a fridge in the common area, which is very important when you travel on a budget.
Cristina went beyond her way to accomodate us and we are forever thankful.

- Jemima (7/5): - Great location. Very close to the train station, supermarkets and restaurants in La Spezia. Facilities were very clean and host was attentive. Felt very safe staying here as a solo female traveller. There is no air conditioner in the single room. I visited at the height of summer and the heat made it hard to sleep at night.

- Eva (9/5): Will stay again if go solo. -
- Hannah (10/5): Exceptional - Cristina is excellent! She's incredibly kind, very welcoming and easy to chat with, and will give you all the tips you need on where to go, what to see, what to do and where to eat. The room was very clean, the bed so comfortable, the bathroom fantastic and honestly, I couldn't have asked for a better experience and have come away, already wanting to go back! Everything was amazing!
- Louisa (10/5): Exceptional - Centrally located close to wherever I needed to be.
However it’s the owner who gave her 100% to accomodate me. Even better than a friend !
- Urszula (9/5): Cristina - the owner is very kind nad helpful, contact at every stage was nice and specific. I am very pleased with the - I lived in a single room on the 5th floor - there is a small and narrow elevator. In the corridor in the apartment there are: an air conditioning, a fridge, a microwave, an iron, some glasses and an cutlery. The bathroom is narrow, clean, there was a cosmetics set and 3 towels. In the room were a kettle, a cup and a tea, a TV and a fan, the window overlooks a fairly busy street. To the train station about 10 minutes on foot, nearby a shop and a number of bars and restaurants. I highly recommend!! The window in the room overlooks a fairly busy street. An elewator is very small and narrow but is:)
- Shadesh (10/5): Perfect for exploring Cinque Terre. - The location is so perfect about 5mins away from the center and 10mins from train station. The host was so nice and kind. The room was super clean and comfy. Would definitely come back here.
- Liudvika (10/5): Everything was fantastic - The room and bathroom was clean and comfortable, the owner was really nice and gave all the recommendations and advices about this trip. I enjoyed staying here! Nothing to say
- Desmond (10/5): Exceptional -
- Paweł (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, super friendly and helpful host, quiet, hilariously cosy bathroom.
- Joseph (10/5): Ultra-satisfied ...! - I would make highly recommend Affittacamere La Mansarda. Nothing negative I could say of the place - but plenty of positives!! The positivity of my stay has plenty to do with Cristina - she is the most affable host you can ever meet. She was the most gracious and very accommodating. My schedule was a bit hectic upon arrival as I only had a small window upon check-in and then I had to be off again. She was more than happy to check-in me earlier. Iactually made a bo-bo, totally my fault -- and we had a big laugh about it. She smiles like she really means it, you know what I mean? About the location: listen, if you want to spend exploring Cinque Terre , use this place as your base. Easy walking distance to the central train station. To grocery stores. Tratorias and ristorantes. There is nearby a water fountain where the locals hang out. Big plus: there opens daily a open-air mercato, in this case a farmer's market just a block away. Fruits, vegetable, fish, meat, cheeses.. Gawd! If you prefer to prep your own supper or lunch, this is for you! The area is urbanized and ultra-safe as it is short distance away from a major base of the Italian navy. Once, I arrived from a romp around Rome at around 1 AM, and the place was peaceful. Very very safe. About the camera: I booked a single bedroom. It had its own washroom/ lavatory. Ultra clean, very quiet. I was on the 5th floor but there is s a lift/ elevator, easy convenience. No negatives. Sorry to be too honest haha.
- Maura (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, extremely helpful host.
- Madeleine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rafiqua (4/5): Solo travellers avoid if possible - Comfortable bed Avoid if possible - the single room has NO lock on neither the bedroom nor the bathroom and the bathroom is not connected (not en-suit) so you need to leave the room. No A/c in the room, the fan was broken so could not stand up without leaning against the chair. To be able to not die from the summer heat you need to leave the tiny window open which is on a busy main road (noisy). The host only lets you check in between 6-8 pm(!!) and expects you out at 10am. There is no flexibility.
- Victoria (10/5): It was amazing! I would definitely come back! - It was clean, has everything you need. The lady that owns the apartment is so nice and sweet!
- Sandra (10/5): Magical stay in La Spezia, Cristina is a wonderful host. - Extremely well situated. Near a supermarket, really nice bars and restaurants. Bus stop, train station (10 min walk), boats to Cinque Terre…. Also near a really good fruit + veg market.
- Baran (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rhonda (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lucy (10/5): Comfortable stay with a lovely hostess. - The location is incredible, the features the hostess has added for solo guest privacy is very comforting and the hostess is very nice and happy to help in any way.
- _miya (8/5): Very good - Very lovely, friendly and helpful host - if not for her recommendations I wouldn't have gone to the lesser known town/s (a must see). Nice and squeaky clean bathroom. The building's elevator is out of service and the place is on the 5th floor (as I remember). I had a backpack and it was quite the hike.
