Guest Reviews
- nzeagleman (2/5): Terrible. - From the minute our Bolt driver tried to find the hotel I had a feeling our stay would not go well!!
Down seedy alley, to even seedier entrance. Very nice and obliging staff but the premises!! Out of the 1950’s. Right down to the lift. Has to be seen to be believed.
Have to order breakfast the day before. I think the bacon was cooked 3 days ago but the omelette was fresh.
“Balcony overlooking pool” - well, the pool had a cover on it covered by leaves!! View of shanties!!
“Private bathroom”!! Well, it is in the bedroom room but because of the glass doors (to toilet and shower) definitely not private!!
Unable to get tv channels so tried to call reception - can’t!! Made the journey down, manager came up, got it working after a while. No chanells but luckily last guest not logged out so got YouTube. Next night same deal EXCEPT, I can’t be bothered traipsing downstairs hence I’ve got to write this!!
Would be the worst hotel ever.
Will definitely NOT be back

- Edward ODonnell (10/5): - The hotel was right next to the river with a lovely view. There was a really good restaurant on the ground floor with live music. The food was also very good and we had a great time.
- Soipetkasem (3/5): - Location and view
- Gamini (10/5): Very pleasant surroundings. - The vintage vibes and the colors used Humidity at times
- Simin (8/5): - Friendly and helpful staff, comfortable bed, nice decorations The surrounding area in the rainy season is a bit messy, and some walk to get a taxi
- Lisa (7/5): Loved the quirky vibe of the place. The cocktails were lovely and live music fabulous. I would just love to see a freshe - The room was great, nice and big and loved the quirky decor.
Bed was super comfortable. The front entrance was not very nice and could be dramatically improved by some TLC.
The decking over looking the water could also be improved.

- Gerald (8/5): - A hidden Gem directly at the Chao Phraya River. Not a classical neighborhood most would go for, but it was very quiet with birds singing in the morning for a lovely start in a busy day - and sure, also the gentle sound of all the boats passing by makes this an interesting stay.
- Peter (8/5): The staff were 10/10 helpful and communicative. They will take you down the street on golf buggy which is handy for - Classic old style inside Outside entry not very nice
- Paitoon (7/5): -
- Abhishek (8/5): - The location and heritage It was a bit random in terms of how it was laid out. The room was absolutely beautiful with a river view
- Nithinun (7/5): - The room not really clean and the location is not easy to find, very far from parking.
- nathalie (9/5): -
- Jean (8/5): Pleasant - So quaint but you warm to it! The entrance late at night was very worrisome.
- Leigh (9/5): Had an excellent stay. A big thanks to Sak for his help with the taxi and giving me sandwiches to take on the plane. - The balcony overlooking the river and the bath in the room. Also the bed was very comfortable. Quite a walk to the Main Street.
- Boszgoii (6/5): - Decoration, room was nice. I could constantly hear noise from outside coming into the room, which disturbed my stay.
The staff who escorted me to the room was excellent. However, during breakfast on the morning of my departure, there was a staff member not wearing a uniform who kept sneezing while serving food. This was highly unprofessional and completely ruined what should have been an enjoyable breakfast experience.
- Ala (10/5): More similar hotels are needed in Bangkok - Located by the river, the view is beautiful. The room is as beautiful as the pictures. Clean water, tea, and coffee were provided. The staff were helpful. Thank you. It was similar to the concept hotels I stayed in Bali. 🥹 The hotel entrance is in a side street but easy to get to! The pool was under renovation…
- 117arnaudd (8/5): Breathtaking River Views and Unique Atmosphere – A Hidden Gem in Bangkok - We had a wonderful stay at Amdaeng Bangkok Riverside. If you book a river view room, prepare to be amazed – the view is absolutely breathtaking! The terrace by the river is stunning, especially in the evening, and the rooftop is beautiful, though oddly underused and not really promoted, which is a shame.
Some areas for improvement: the service is a bit limited, likely due to a lack of staff (no help with luggage), and a few rooms could use minor touch-ups (especially the cotton shower curtains, which could be cleaned more thoroughly).
Still, the hotel has a lot of charm, with unique decor and a peaceful, one-of-a-kind atmosphere. A great spot to enjoy a more tranquil side of Bangkok.
- Arnaud (8/5): Breathtaking River Views and Unique Atmosphere – A Hidden Gem in Bangkok - view is absolutely breathtaking service is a bit limited
- Simon (7/5): Wonderful stay, with great staff - Friendly helpful staff, great location although a little difficult to find.
Air conditioned rooms were wonderful.
Transport to the main road was a delight!!! Housekeeping let them down.
- Adam (1/5): Bad - Do not stay at this place. At the same price you find such so many amazing places in Bangkok. The place is a proper catfish - opposite of the pictures they show. Dirty. Falling apart. Surrounded by slums.
- Régine (8/5): Very good -
- Fábio (8/5): Very good - The room was an absolute pleasure to stay in — spacious, full of thoughtful extras, and with an amazing night view. The TV came with Netflix, which was a nice touch. The overall décor of the building is really stylish and unique. Easily one of the best value-for-money stays I’ve had in Thailand. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our visit. The hotel is located in a small alley that might seem a bit sketchy at first, but there’s really no need for concern — we felt safe at all times
- Carla (10/5): Exceptional -
- Melissa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Verified traveler (8/5): Different in a good way - A different hotel with designed and nice rooms. Just on the river bank. Little odd placement but they offer transport. They restaurant served good food. Staff very friendly and helpful.
- Sven (8/5): The receptionist is the most miserable hospitality professional I have ever met in my life - Everything except receptionist The receptionist
- Alessio (9/5): Superb -
- Daniel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Carlos (6/5): - I don’t know how this place is a 4 star place with 8+ in ratings. I suspect it was a long time ago because the hotel seemed neglected. The rooftop and pool were both closed. A quick summary of pros and cons.
Cons: location is not great, staff speaks little english, staff wasn’t able to provide recommendations (from restaurant tips to where and how to grab the ferry), most of the time there were multiple staff members just chilling — when we checked in there were 5 employees just chilling and talking to each other. It took a few minutes before anyone acknowledged us and someone started to check us in.
Pros: the breakfast fried rice was amazing.
- Sheelagh (8/5): Very good -
- Rodney (10/5): Very enjoyable and relaxing - Sitting on balcony over looking the river life , breakfast was delicious , staff very helpful and friendly .
- Sven (8/5): A very unique & different way of experiencing a stay at Bangkok - direct riverfront - Very creatively furnished room, directly overlooking the river. Very cosy/romantic.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.
Altogether, a very calm and different way of experiencing hectic/busy Bangkok.
The amazing Icon shopping centre and train station are only a short stroll away. Roof top deck and pool were sadly not available.
- Jennyadamsfreelance (7/5): Things to love. Things to Not. Definitely worth the price/experience - This is a good hotel for those who want one of the following things : 1. You are looking to dig deeper into actual Bangkok, the every-day side of the city and to really feel the local vibe of it. It's in a really cool location, with fun things to eat, see and do all around on the opposite bank of the river. 2. You've been to Bangkok many times before and you want to escape but still be in the city. Something quiet. Maybe with a romantic partner, where you want a great bed, and a killer view of the river with a good book. Breakfast is good. Beds are super comfy and the staff is nice. It's truly very peaceful watching the river. The hotel needs a few moments of paint love at this point. Things were a little scratched. It's also very dark. Even in the daytime in the lobby, it's very shadowy. All the walls are red and the furnishings are black and it gives it almost a gothic kind of vibe that's at odds with sunny Bangkok outside. The pool was also covered and not in use when we were there, which was a bummer. Finally, I did not love our bathroom situation. The bathroom is cool, but awkward. There are two thin lace curtains you can pull around, but the toilet and shower are encased in glass. If you don't pull those (and let's be honest, even if you do) you are watching someone use the restroom. It was fine for us as a married couple, until my husband got some slight food poisoning. I went out and got a beer so he could have the room. Haha. I think if you're like a parent and a teenager or friends traveling, this bathroom is really really awkward. I'm just overall tired of "sexy" bathrooms. Make a door.
- Emma (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing amazing amazing!!!!
- Peter (9/5): Superb -
- Rhys (9/5): Superb - This place is a bit dated. The room decor is very niche. Love the balcony overlooking the river. I didn't love that they had the pool cover on all the time. I understand because the tree above it dropped stuff into it all the time but that's part of the deal really. You had to ask them to remove the pool cover to use the pool so nobody ever used the pool because nobody wanted to ask them to remove the pool cover.
- syran66 (10/5): Unique, unforgettable hotel - We stayed for 5 nights on a 3 week trip around Thailand, with two friends in another room. We arrived after dark & were a bit disconcerted about the approach -- down a shabby narrow lane and then having to walk the last 30m which was too small for a vehicle. But then we saw it! A magenta coloured 4 story slender old building that stepped straight out of a period arthouse film set in the 1930s. The lobby area continued that ambience, as did our top floor rooms (not overlooking the river unfortunately -- extra $). The room was large with a beautifully comfy king sized bed, a shower, toilet and small bathtub actually in the same room as the bedroom (for the shy, you can curtain it off). Not sure how many rooms it has, but maybe 10?? Not mannt more. So the dining room or river terracd is never crowded. The food is just wonderful, and inexpensive. Most nights you get a talented duo singing Carpenters & Bee Gees covers on the terrace, as the cruise ships drift by. The hotel is about 4-500 metres from a skytrain stop and a futher 500m on you come to a MASSIVE shopping centre with everything under the sun for sale there. The staff are exceptionally lovely and helpful. The small pool was closed while we were there -- no idea why. And the rooftop bar was not operating. Botton lime: we all stay in anodyne comfortable hotels all over the world which we could never describe 2 weeks later. This one will never leave your mind, for all the right reasons.
- David (8/5): Interesting but would not return…too out of the way. - Quirky….the evening entertainment was good. Nice to sit dining by the river. Nice breakfast The approach was a little off putting….The pool was covered….it was a little untidy. Not many cocktails available. Nothing around the hotel of interest.
- Connor (9/5): Beautiful views and friendly staff - This hotel is situated right next to the river and has spectacular views over the city. It's a boutique hotel with eclectic decor - the room are beautifully decorated with antique style furniture although the toilet and shower had glass doors and walls which was a little odd. It's a little like stepping back in time to the fifties for ambience but the service is first class and everyone was friendly and very helpful. Comfortable rooms and close to a skyrail station for easy travel to/from the city centre. The restaurant has a limited vegetarian menu which wasn't to my taste, and breakfast didn't have any Thai/Asian vegetarian options. I found other restaurants nearby with Thai vegetarian food which was better for me. The location is also hard to find as it's down a small alleyway off another small road. The roof top bar wasn't open but the hotel can be noisy at night with music playing on the river boats and the lift mechanism is also quite loud. None of this bothered me at all, but if you are a light sleeper maybe best to bring earplugs.
- Domile (9/5): Superb -
- Pascal (9/5): Superb - Global customer experience
- Ty (10/5): - A beautiful boutique property with an awesome roof deck bar on the water. Staff are friendly and the property its self is very unique. I consider it a hidden gem but, some might find it hard to get to and in a bit a a strange location. I would definitely stay again.
- James (7/5): Good - Its a unique property in a lovely neighbour of Bangkok and doesn't feel touristy. the property needs to be better maintained, it currently feels like its passed its prime.
The rooms could do with separation between the toilet and the rest of the living space.
- Fredrik (9/5): Superb - Unique A little worn
- Alan (10/5): - Lovely hotel with excellent staff. The restaurant is very good. The only downside is the endless thumping music particularly on the roof top bar.
- Jay (10/5): Great find! - Absolutely loved finding this hidden gem! The food is phenomenal and the staff attentive and professional. Our room was unique with a view from the bed that seems as if you’re floating above the river. Highly recommend!
- Morris (10/5): Exceptional - Everything the decor is brilliant. Looks like a Chinese movie set.
- Dave (10/5): Bangkok brilliance - Everything about this place was fantastic. A great start to our holiday.
The staff were exceptional. The position was fantastic. Live band on the rooftop bar. Mind blowing view of the river. I can't recommend this enough. Brilliant. A real introduction to Thailand. Nothing.
- Neil (9/5): Very nice short stay. Would go back. - It’s a small and very individual hotel. Nice riverside location.
- M4273PRcarolp (10/5): Authentic, Shabby-Chic, Charming Boutique Hotel - After booking this hotel, I became concerned by a number of reviews giving it very bad ratings. I'm so glad we decided to stay with the booking, because the hotel is EXACTLY what we wanted to experience. It's picturesque, endearing, quaint, shabby-chic, antique, boutique and altogether charming not despite of, but because of its imperfections. The reviewer who described it as "art" got it right.
If you're wanting a new, modern, sleek, shiny, westernized hotel with all the glitz of Las Vegas, this place isn't for you. Go to the Hilton or Ritz-Carlton. If you want an authentic-feeling experience that harkens to what I imagine was old Siam around the turn of the 20th century in a terrific location, with outstanding views of the Chao Praya river, staff who are smiling, friendly and go out of their way to be helpful, book a river view room with balcony here. You won't be disappointed!
- Vitaly (6/5): Pleasant - Breakfast was very simple. Menu for lunch and dinner was shirt and pricy
- Sillapachai (6/5): Uniquely beautiful but hotel needs love and care - Location is very special very unique. Being by the river. Really nice. Staff is good but they could and can be better. They have high potential to become more professional. The conditions of the hotel is poor. It has been delayed. And ist is obviously visible. Renovation is in urgent need. Food is really good, the kitchen really put love on each dish.
- Louise (9/5): Great small hotel on the river - Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely room with a view of the river. It was great sitting on the balcony watching the boats go by. We liked the small nature of the hotel and the idiosyncratic decor. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was varied and ample.
We liked the location and being out of the busy traffic and highrise area and yet it was an easy walk to the ferries and Iconsiam. It wasn't really an issue for us but the approach to the hotel is up a slightly scruffy alley way. We arrived at night and it probably looked worse. In daylight it was fine and we felt perfectly safe walking about.
- Joey (4/5): Dissapointing - The hotel felt like it didn’t have much work done to it in years. Paint chipped of the wall, bad service, not very clean. It just wasn’t very nice compared to many other hotels we stayed in in Bangkok that always have the highest standard.
- Ilya (4/5): Disappointing - Located on the river. Kind staff. Mould in the bathroom, all the property maintained badly. Which is sad as it probably was great when it was just opened.
- Melissa (8/5): Off The Beaten Track Boutique - This little hotel is tucked away and quiet, yet close to everything. The party cruise boats that pass add a fun vibe.
The bed was very comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Close to the BTS and lots of great places to explore within walking distance. We wish there was more space to organize clothing in the room. There are a couple of dangerous height differences in the floor making it easy to fall at night when you aren't used to it.
The river is very polluted. Lots of garbage floating around.
- Anita (8/5): Lovely quirky hotel great beds and nice staff. - Lovely location on the river with great bedrooms. Pool area
- Christine (8/5): Very good - Great view of the river from the room balcony and rooftop bar, helpful staff, well designed interior and interesting lift A little further from the main attractions
- Brett (6/5): Pleasant -
- Daniel (8/5): Very good -
- Jeffrey (6/5): Too much money paid for what you get - Bed was comfortable
Balcony was nice
Rooftop bar was nice
Atmosphere hotel was nice No pool
Bed fell apart due to my suitcase hitting it
Only one person who talks English
Food was terrible
Breakfast was a laugh (including)
Bathtub couldn't hold the water inside
Moldy corners in bathroom
- Federica (8/5): Very good -
- Matteo (5/5): Passable -
- Karsten (10/5): Small but very nice hotel with a wonderful design in the center of Bangkok. Will definitely return - Interior, rooms, design, rooftop bar, staffs. Everything perfect. And the location. Big plus is that it is a very small hotel, totally different to all the big hotel chains around. Everything fine
- Clara (10/5): Exceptional - This is such a unique hotel, and the views were amazing. The staff couldn't do enough for us, they even made us club sandwiches for our train journey as we had to leave before breakfast. Location is excellent with close links to the sky train. The hidden gem is amazing. Would highly recommend this hotel. Nothing
- David (9/5): Beautiful quaint hotel with amazing views and lovely staff - A beautiful quirky little boutique hotel with gorgeous views of the river. The staff were amazing and we loved our time here. Super cute decor if a little dated. Worth staying for something that is a bit different from the usual hotel experience. Location is a little tricky due its position on the river. To be expected though.
- Tina (7/5): unique hotel on the river - - The hotel's rooms and design were incredible. It was unique; the bed was big and comfy, and the view from the downstairs restaurant was terrific. However, the rooftop restaurant was out of bounds unless you made a formal booking; The pool was not in use as it was covered because of being surrounded by trees, my room, which promised a balcony with a view of the river, was deceiving. It was a bit depressing, and you couldn't sit out there. I was also mistakenly billed for another room's meal. The location was very remote and down a dark alley. No restaurants close by, and as the hotel didn't offer room service or access to the restaurant unless a reservation was made, you had to get a taxi to find food.
- Kanjana (10/5): Exceptional - Best view in BKK, food was delicious, staff were very helpful .. We really enjoyed staying there 🙂 There's nothing to don't like about the hotel.
- Teeravut (6/5): - Charming boutique hotel! The hotel is a remodeled traditional Thai-style house by the river. Staff are very friendly and helpful, the wonderful Thai hospitality that we appreciate. However, the location is a trade-off because it locates deep in the middle of a residential zone in Thonburi district across from the main areas in Bangkok. So, no MRT subway and no (real) BTS Skytrain to be used.
Although there’s a small rickshaw that hotel provides to get you to the main road (saving about 15-20 min walk), it still is not very convenient on the way back to hotel. There also are not many food options close by. You could walk about 40-50 min to IconSiam. Doable (when it’s not a rainy or hot day) but have to plan for it. Taxi/car service is the only reliable means.
In sum, if you look to spend a quiet weekend in Bangkok by river, just to stay in and chill e.g. reading your books, not plan to do/see much, this hotel is a fine option. To get around, you must use Taxi/Car Service(Grab).
If you want to see and experience many things in Bangkok, this ain’t it.
- Marija (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gennifer (10/5): Exceptional - This is the second time I have stayed there . It's the best place ever !! The staff is amazing , the food is amazing !! Location is off the path which makes it better . You are walking distance of great food and things to do. Best place ever. The new owner should be more open to repeat people
- Anastasiia (10/5): Exceptional - Every detail is amazing!
I felt myself like a princess!
- Thomas (10/5): Fantastiskt på alla sätt - Vi upplevde tre dygn i fantastiskt fin miljö bredvid flodkanten i ett härligt boutique hotel. Rekommenderar det verkligen.
- Juan (9/5): Superb -
- Tomas (1/5): Could’ve been nice…ended in a disappointment - Both from me and my partner money got stolen out of our room on the last day of our stay. This happened with 100% certainty in the hotel. We should’ve used the room locker but we’re naïeve considering it’s a small hotel. After several emails still dead silence. It definitely left a stain on our trip.
- Helmar (9/5): Superb - The view from the terrace is incredible. One of the best places in BKK. It is not so easy to reach by public transport.
- franceshZ2329PO (4/5): Disappointing - This is very much a hotel of two halves. I really wanted this to be a good visit
Dining room with outside terrace was good, staff very accommodating, reception area, pleasant & comfy. Our room was dark dusty & cramped, the view expected over the pool was awful & nothing like photos on booking website. There was a canal overflow pipe which when running, made so much noise it was heard in our room. The pool was very difficult to get into, very slippery with nothing to hold onto.
We wanted to change rooms to front of the hotel which had better views over the river but they were occupied, so we left a day early. Such a shame.
- Tracey (7/5): It's nice but not amazing - Great to sit on balcony at night and watch the boats cruise up and down the river. Room was nicely decorated. Staff packed us a delicious club sandwich as we we're leaving early and would miss breakfast. I ran a bath but alas the plug didn't work well and water just drained away. Definitely not sound proof walls. Can hear loud music playing from reception area, not till too late (around 10pm) but just seemed unnecessary. Location is not great. It was fine for us for our last night in Bangkok but wouldn't choose here for main part of stay. Icon Siam not far but that's about it. For the cost, I think you can get a fair bit more from other places. Also be aware the lift only works for level 4 so unless you are on that level expect to carry your bags. Not a big deal for us but could be for some.
- Frances (4/5): Very disappointed - Restaurant and communal area were good. Staff very good, friendly & helpfull. Room. Breakfast, although we were provided with cornflakes after the first day. View from the room and "balcony" swimming pool and noise from canal overspill water pipe. Left a day earlier than booked.
- Evgeny (9/5): Superb - This was my second stay in this hotel, which is a real gem in Bangkok. The view to the river with neverending circulation of boats and ships is unforgettable, and so well accompanying the dinner in the hotel's restaurant... I would suggest to seriously consider changing the distributor of the wines offered. Currently their rather very moderate quality is not in accord to their too high prices and to the excellent dishes that one can enjoy in the restaurant.
- Fabio (9/5): Like a little secret dreams - Very cosy rooms , classic, elephant and casual in the same time . River Front view . excellent staff , friendly , professional and if they can meet you needs , they will real fast is very well organise , e few extra choices would be great . also suggested to add some extra hazard warnings on ground floor lift
- Sabine (9/5): Little Secret Hideaway - I travel to Bangkok regularly to relax and just enjoy the varity of cultural offers and the huzzle buzzle, but I love to stay in a relaxing, calm and clean place. Amadeng excellently served what I want. I love the well developed design details. It is coming home, perfect view over the Chao Phraya River, nice balconies to enjoy the sun rise and sun set (roof terrace). Breakfast choices need to be done one evening in advance - very sustainable!! In exchange you can enjoy a calm, private homefeeling breakfast environment without the usual 'fight' at the buffet in big hotels. Near the BTS Gold Line - so well connected, Icon Siam and a ferry to the other side of the river in walking distance. Very calm place - some noise in the evening the boat traffice on the Chao Phraya - but when you discover BKK nightlife you are anyway not in the hotel. We included a Loy Krathong Dinner in our stay - received a nice interpretation of Thai contemporary cuisine served with excellent wine! I recommend serving beverages and snacks at the roof top terrace during sunset! Sunset could be enjoyed in a private atmosphere. It looks like it has been done in the past.
- Nutchapol (7/5): Unique design hotel with a very good view from Balcony. but the Car park is at the terrible spot - The staff are attentive and professional. The hotel provides a golf car service for transportation to nearby locations, which is highly convenient. The breakfast was delicious, the bed exceptionally comfortable, and the room's cleanliness commendable Their car park is terrible, with no roof cover. I woke up in the morning and went to my car then saw, My car full of bird sh-t. I was asking Staffs for a better place but no, that's the only spot they have.
also, the room is too small compared to what I saw in their promoted pictures.
- Alexander (7/5): Good - The staff were friendly and the view was nice It's in a poor location, very tucked away and the taxi drivers struggled to find it or get to it, the hotel was somewhat unkempt aswell
- Stephane (8/5): - This Boutique-Style Hotel, although quite pricey for its hidden and off the beaten track location, has huge potential for a particular guest.
This charming 10 room hotel needs some TLC, but it’s staff makes up for the hotel’s lack of maintenance. You must take a riverside view room (6 of 10 rooms) to make it worth your while, as the surrounding neighborhood is quite rural, not to say adventurous, but safe!
The roof top bar has stunning views, but was closed due to needed renovations. Such a pity!
The riverside restaurant (indoor and/or outdoor) offers limited breakfast options (included with your stay), and an extended evening menu, although quite expensive.
The pool area is extremely small, located in the front of the hotel, not very private and mostly shaded. It looks more like a decorative feature, a reflecting pool to be photographed.
While we were staying, many needed upkeeps were being undertaken; painting, gardening, tile work, repairs and renovations, not intrusive but constant.
All said, we did enjoy our stay. I am sure this hotel, we regain its previous charme and definitely has potential, once all the upkeeps have been attended to.
Since its location is less than desirable, they need to makeup in its offer by creating a more catered approach and experience.
- Abigail (10/5): - Nice hotel but in a residential area
- Marc (9/5): Superb - great view of the action on the river although the party boats can be loud in the evening. Close to Icon Siam - for ferry connections as well as food and shopping. Sometimes the "wrong" side of the river is actually the right side - away from the crowds of tourists in the old town and the hustle and bustle of Chinatown.
- George (10/5): Exceptional -
- Deborah (10/5): Amazing! - One of the most beautiful rooms we have ever stayed in. Amazing views - we loved staying in a small, family-run hotel looking over the river and at the skyscrapers (instead of being in one). We tried to return for our last night but it was fully booked. Unfortunately the pool isn’t very inviting…
- María (7/5): Good - The hotel is charming and clean, but the rooms could benefit from some maintenance work. The staff are kind and the breakfast was very good. It is a little far from everything, but easy to find a taxi or tuktuk to get where you want to.
