- Gilbert (5/5): Séjour moyen - Dans le centre du quartier haut à proximité du tram et métro et restaurants Mon interlocutrice a été assez réactive quant à mes réclamations concernant le système électrique, le manque d ampoules dans la salle de bain et cuisine et le remplacement du pommeau de douche fuyant. L appartement est très mal isolé phoniquement aussi par rapport à la rue hyper bruyante car remplie de bars ouverts tard dans la nuit, que par la musique à fort coefficient décibels et les va et vient des locataires bruyants. Les installations sont négligées, salle de bain, balai brosse rouillé, robinetrie bon marché, vieille porte de douche, le sol stratifié à été posé à la va vite, mauvaise isolation phonique des fenêtres( joints caouchouc) Tapis sale,

- Melania (8/5): Buon punto d'appoggio per visitare questa splendida città - Mi é piaciuta la posizione dell'appartamento in pieno centro, la pulizia davvero attenta dell'appartamento che è molto carino, anche con quel piccolo spazio esterno e la disponibilità del gestore. Ottima la disponibilità della lavanderia. L'appartamento è al piano terra e si sente odore di umidità, ma è sostenibile, però forse collocherei un deumidificatore anche se c'è il condizionatore, di cui però si prescrive di non modificare le impostazioni. Aggiungerei nella dotazione dell'appartamento una macchina per il caffè con capsule ele zanzariere. Se avete il sonno leggero però la zona non fa per voi, la musica si sente vivamente e fino all'alba...per noi non è stato un problema comunque 😅

Consider that the street is very crowded as there are a lot of bars, clubs, pubs. In the evening and nights the street is full of drunk people, it is almost impossible to sleep as the music is loud. - Hillair (8/5): The apartment is a newly remodeled unit in a small building of 4 units. The kitchen is well equipped and you could make - Location, location, location. Friendly neighborhood, VERY good food, many options. Walking distance to downtown Lisbon, easy access to public transport. Street noise. It is a lively neighborhood and people party until the bars close - 2:00 M-F, 3:00 weekend. The windows are insulated and help to dampen the noise.

- Erik (1/5): Avoid at all cost. - Good breakfast in the area I was looking forward to staying for five nights at DoBairro Suites in Bairro Alto in January 2026, but the experience was extremely disappointing. After two nights of severely disrupted sleep, it became clear that this establishment is not suitable for guests who wish to sleep before 3 a.m., when the surrounding bars and clubs finally close. The noise from the neighborhood was overwhelming, and even the staff themselves admitted that this is not a place for guests seeking peace and quiet. As a result, I checked out early and moved to another hotel in order to get some rest during the remaining nights of my stay in Lisbon. Unfortunately, the noise was not the only issue. I also experienced several maintenance problems: A leaking ceiling after rainfall A malfunctioning climate system that was unable to maintain a comfortable temperature Several lights in the apartment that were not working Overall, this was one of the worst accommodations I have encountered. I say this as a frequent traveler who has stayed in many hotels and apartments over the years. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend staying here.

Già dall'entrata principale si può notare la scarsissima igiene con una pavimentazione molto sporca e piena di cianfrusaglie dove è presente anche un bagno in comune.....Per quanto riguarda la stanza ancora oggi mi viene da piangere , era molto molto sporca, umidissima e maleodorante a tal punto che la notte l'aria era irresponsabile, il terzo letto era rappresentato da un divano similpelle impolverato e privo di materasso. Su un totale di 4 giorni siamo rimasti solo la prima notte cercando di riposare un pochino in 3 nello stesso letto, la mattina siamo scappati e abbiamo trovato un alloggio alternativo perdendo così tutti i soldi versati. Sconsigliatissimo.

As others have said, the street below gets very noisy at night with literally hundreds of drunk people. - John (5/5): Acceptable, but probably will find somewhere less noisy and less hilly next time. - Room size, sound insulation, room layout: the bedroom was at the back of the property thus allowing the rest of the building to insulate the sleeping area from the street noise to a certain degree. The property is situated on Party Central, so the street is very lively and very noisy until 2am. This should be mentioned in the description, as it is a built-in character of the house. It would also be worth mentioning that the property, from whichever direction, is at the top of a steep hill. Walking with heavy luggage will be a problem for some people, especially as the property seems to be on a street with limited vehicle access.

- CLÉMENT (10/5): Au top - La qualité du logement, l’emplacement pour visiter Lisbonne, l’accueil et les échanges avec le personnel Pas grand chose, attention tout de même le quartier est bruyant la nuit, même si les logements sont quand même bien isolés

- Pauline (4/5): Je ne reviendrais pas. - L’emplacement est assez chouette. Tout se fait à pied depuis le quartier. C’est le seul point positif. Par contre c’est un quartier TRÈS TRÈS festif… TRÈS TRÈS bruyant. La chambre donnait sur la rue qui est une rue excessivement festive et très très bruyante. Ce fut difficile de dormir avant 3h du matin. Nous n’avons vu personne de l’équipe de l’hôtel au cours de notre séjour. Nous voulions laisser nos affaires le dernier jour pour profiter librement dans bagages mais finalement nous avons changé d’avis. Cela consistait juste à laisser nos affaires dans l’entrée de l’immeuble, sous un escalier, dans surveillance de quelqu’un de l’établissement. Pas très sécurisant.
- Luis Alonso (8/5): Gran ubicación con instalaciones muy cómodas - Excelente ubicación, lugar seguro y acogedor se siente como en casa, fácil de moverse hacia todos los sitios Tener que sacar la basura, y llevarla a un punto de acopio (las instrucciones estaban claras para saber adonde ir a dejarla) no es mayor cosa de hacer y es poco lo que debe caminar por la calle con la basura en la mano, pero es una tarea adicional que se tiene que hacer al salir, considerando también que se va saliendo con maletas y otros
- Ian (8/5): - The apartment is very close to the city centre so there's loads near by. Easy access to everything. It's very comfortable and has everything you need. But... You are right in the middle of an area popular for night life. With LOADS of bars that stay open very late playing load music (i.e. to 3am) AND this attracts other residents who are there to go out to get very drunk, so don't expect any quiet nights. If you want to make the most of the night life, you may not mind any of that. But if you're hoping to get some sleep cos you were hoping for an early start one day, this may not be the best choice...
- Mario (6/5): - The location is great. The apartment itself is not very clean and the smell of mold is very strong. The host is responsive and tried to help.
- Amy (2/5): - YOUROPO - Clérigos 1/5 Terrible Do not stay here, there are so many other options in Lisbon and the area that are the same cost and way better. Though we did like the size of the apartment.. the apartment itself was disgusting. The whole shower has mold around the rim and the walls in the bathroom look like they have never seen a clean. The shower head was also laughable and sprayed everywhere while the handheld didn’t work. The hair dryer also was broken. The whole building smells like stale dirty laundry. The bed is like sleeping on the floor and they give the two smallest/thin pillows and blanket. There was extra pillows and blankets in the closet, but they smelt like they either were used or haven’t been washed in years. It was also very loud being on the main bar street, though I don’t blame the property on this, but just be aware if you don’t like bass blaring till 2/3am.

- simon (6/5): Great place but really noisy - Place was clean and tidy and nothing to fault with the accomodation at all but it’s really noisy from the bars and clubs until at least 2am - if you aren’t one of them this isn’t the place for you. Then glass collections and street cleaners start every morning at 7am which also noisy

- Rodríguez Martínez (9/5): - El apartamento era moderno y limpio. Su ubicación excelente. Las camas cómodas. Está situado al lado de un pub y por las noches se oye mucho la música.
- Almudena (10/5): Recomendadísimo - Las instalaciones son preciosas, bien cuidadas y funcionales. Hay una zona pública con sillones, baño, lavandería, etc y en las habitaciones hay lavavajillas, horno, microondas, armarios amplios, etc. Quizás el ruido de la zona pero, al estar insomorizada la habitación, no molestan en exceso. Eso si, si eres sensible a los sonidos mejor usa tapones porque sigue habiendo ruido.
- Peter (8/5): - Location was wonderful and easy downhill walk to foreshore and markets with local shops, restaurants and ATM. Facilities were good but staircase was a test with 3 flights no elevator was testing on the legs. 3 flights of stairs.

- Gabriele (9/5): - Das Personal war super freundlich, der kleine Balkon war sehr schön. Alles war sauber und hat funktioniert. Die Handdusche muss repariert werden, der Schlauch ist locker, so dass das Wasser am Schlauvh rausläuft.

- NELLY (5/5): - Appartement bien équipé, climatisation, calme en journée (uniquement). Lit et canapé-lit confortables. Machine à laver à disposition. Situé en plein cœur de la ville. Le bruit en soirée et jusqu'à 2-3h du matin (murs mitoyens avec les discothèques). L'appartement est plus adapté à des groupes qui viennent pour faire la fête et profiter du quartier très animé. L'odeur émanant de la salle de bain.
- Elisabetta (7/5): - la posizione era buona ma più adatta a giovanissimi che escono fino a tardi Abbiamo scelto il posto per la posizione però purtroppo non avevamo considerato che i locali vicini facessero musica a altissimo volume fino alle 2 di notte. L'appartamento era ben isolato ma essendo sulla strada comunque si sentiva una forte musica da discoteca e il rumore obbligava a tenere di notte sempre chiuse le finestre con il costante utilizzo del condizionatore
