- Ioannis (10/5): A Cery Nice Hotel! - Just 2kms from the center of Hanoi in a quiet neighborhood Sunrise hotel was a great choice. I’ve stayed for over 2 weeks, in a big room with king size bed and a view to the river. The room was great with a fridge, mini bar, water boiler and more. The stuff were very polite and helpful.

L'environnement c'est surtout des boutiques locales quelques restaurants simples mais bons. La ville est à deux kilomètres accessible aux bons marcheurs mais circulation très dense. Pollution importante ,ciel bas, et gris, les deux nuits où nous sommes restés Point positif:: le personnel , très serviable et compétant Merci à la responsable de l'accueil et aux femmes de ménage Mal dos, car matelas dur . Salle de bains inondée car tuyau qui sort du mur et coule sur le carrelage. C'est dû à la climatisation.

- Ruby (3/5): - The lady on reception was very kind and helpful. I am disappointed with my recent stay at this hotel due to serious cleanliness and hygiene issues. The first room we were assigned had significant mould, excessive dust, and dirty walls, which caused discomfort given my sensitive skin and chest concerns. Additionally, the room experienced flooding, after which the receptionist kindly assisted us in moving to another room. Unfortunately, the second room also had similar issues, including a bed that appeared mouldy and covered in dust, along with unclean walls. After raising this with staff, we were moved again. However, the third room’s bathroom, particularly the shower area, was heavily affected by mould. As a result of these ongoing issues, I was unable to continue my stay and checked out after the first night, despite having booked for four nights. I raised these concerns with the manager via Booking.com, and I was informed that a refund would be issued, with an update promised on Monday. I was also told the refund would be provided in cash, which is not practical as I have since left the country. Despite multiple follow-up messages requesting an update, I have received no response. Overall, my experience was very disappointing, and I cannot recommend this hotel based on the lack of cleanliness and poor follow-up regarding the refund.

- Kim (5/5): Tạm - Phòng hơi có mùi ẩm, nhân viên nhiệt tình. Hôm mình đi, phòng đối diện có con nít tầm 3 đến 6 tuổi, chạy rần rần trong phòng nhưng phòng mình vẫn nghe, đặc biệt là trong toilet, tiếng vọng qua vang kinh khủng. Toilet nhìn cũng ko sạch lắm.

- Rolando (9/5): A paradise in Vietnam! - Staff were friendly and very helpful. The lovely ladies at the reception helped us with booking some wonderful tours during our stay. We loved Ha Long bay, and the breathtaking sites Sung Sot Cave, Titov island and boat rides during the day tour. The city tour was also pleasing and informative. We learnt some history of beautiful sites in Hanoi like Ho Chi Min Homes, Old Quarter, Train Street, Ethnology Museum, Tran Quoc Pagoda, Hoa Lo Prison, Temple of Literature...and many more! We loved Hanoi!

- Antonella (4/5): Malísima - Bueno, es difícil encontrar algo. La chica de recepción espero que retiremos plata del cajero y paguemos a la tarde. Era bastante simpática Nada que ver tiene el estado del lugar con las fotos, las paredes descascaradas un olor a humedad terrible, el techo del baño lleno de moho. La bañera es muy incómoda, los espejos no tienen luz. Hay pocos lugares para enchufar tus dispositivos y muchos de ellos están rotos. Tenes que pedir todo: al segundo día necesitaba papel higiénico y café y fue un drama, me mandaron a esperar, me dieron servilletas y recién al día siguiente llevaron el papel higiénico (el café todavía lo espero). El chico recepcionista fue un maleducado cuando le pedí papel me dijo después después y se puso a jugar un juego con su celular. Quedé esperando en la recepción y lo escuchaba exclamar contra otras personas como jugando algo en línea. A los 15 minutos fui de nuevo y me dio servilletas de mala gana. La ubicación, es un poco lejos de todo, lo sabía pero priorice las fotos las cuales son falsas, pero creo que podes conseguir mejor ubicación por el mismo precio Nos quedamos 4 días. La limpieza en este lugar es inexistente, gracias si puedo creer que cambiaron las sábanas. La mesa de luz estaba toda manchada con signos de vasos anteriores, y en el balcón quise tomar un té pero el polvo de la mesa me ahuyentó. En la recepción el tacho de basura completamente colapsado. El último día la recepcionista tienen que “checkear “ la habitación antes que te vayas, insólito y el taxi llegó antes que ella vuelva y trato de decirnos que teníamos que pagar algo pero no sabía cómo decirlo en inglés y nos tuvimos que ir, no sé qué era pero sonaba a que probaba para estafarnos, porque literalmente hemos dejado la habitación tal cual estaba. Y seguro puedo decir más cosas que no recuerdo pero me cansé.

- suha (1/5): Deeply disappointing stay marked by misleading advertising, hidden charges, and unprofessional staff - Nothing to like 1-Star Review – Misleading, Unprofessional, and Extremely Disappointing I had a very unpleasant experience at this hotel and would strongly caution future guests. First, the room I booked was advertised as having a window. However, upon arrival I was given a room with no window at all, which was completely misleading. In addition, the room was not clean and far from what is shown in the photos online. The photos present a bright, well-maintained space, but the actual room felt poorly maintained and much darker than advertised. The staff told me they could move me to a “better” room,” but only if I immediately left a positive review — before even seeing the new room. This felt manipulative and highly inappropriate. On the second day, I unfortunately lost my room key card. I was then informed I had to pay 300,000 VND for a replacement. This was never explained at check-in. They claimed the information was written on the back of the card. I am visually impaired and would not have been able to read small print on the card. In most hotels, such policies are clearly communicated in advance. The amount charged is more than the cost of one night’s stay, which is completely unreasonable. After I filed a complaint with Booking.com, the receptionist who had previously promised to move me to a balcony room suddenly claimed that no balcony rooms were available. However, later that evening I saw a balcony room open and unoccupied. It felt as though I was being penalized for raising a complaint. At checkout, while I was rushing to catch my flight, they attempted to charge me again, claiming the towels were “dirty” due to coffee stains. They tried to delay my departure and insisted on additional payment. I felt pressured and uncomfortable, especially as I was concerned about missing my flight. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Near to everywhere we wanted to visited. The hotel suited all ours needs. We have NO complaints. We would definitely come back again.

All doors are not working properly or completely broken. Water from the bathtub spills onto the floor. The shower head doesn't work. Tv is not working.
- virginia (3/5): SUNRISE HANOI HOTEL - Some staffs are friendly Our room.509.. the a.c is not cold, the bed is hard like a stone, no extra pillow given, the small fridge in the room is not working. We repprted this to the reception, the so called technician fixed it..but the a.c still not cold and the fridge not working😔.. since day 1 of our stay, the bathroom gel canister is empty- again reported to the reception, they will so called let the housekeeping know, came back to the hotel.aftef a day of activity , still empty. Requested a room.with a view.. we were put in a room where u can see tree branch. The stairs going up to the reception area, no one helps with the guests luggages.

Completely nothing I wouldn't recommend this place, I don't know if years ago it was better, but now??? 😞😞😞 The rooms were moldy, smelly, the tub didn't have a curtain so the waters of the shower fell outside, the beds are super hard you can literally feel all the springs and threads of them. Reception speaks very basic English and never say a hello when you enter. The cleaning service is almost non existent.A balcony so small and dirty and the plants half ... We paid 18 per night for 7 nights... I would never ever recommend.... This is the first time I'm putting a bad review. Needs a really good renovation and maintenance....
