Guest Reviews
- Robert (9/5): A nice place with music feeling 🎸 - Very nice location and clean room. Wonderful music pub atmosphere and a great fan of the best music. A variety of several breakfast offers. I’ll come back again. Although on a busy road, it was rather quiet in the night.
- Lucy (10/5): Brilliant stop for the NEC - Big breakfast, free parking, quiet rooms Nothing
- Michael (9/5): A regular favorite when in the area - Great stay the brothers are always welcoming and run a nice hotel in a quiet area of Town, we always stay here when working in the area. and Breakfast is great too. Nothing

- Alison (8/5): Comfortable Hotel - Location. Hotel was very comfortable. Perfect for my needs working at the arena All good
- Andy (7/5): Good for purpose - Convenient for Business trade show at Coventry arena Nuneaton as a town somewhat run down
- Ellen (9/5): A lovely stay - The owners were very friendly, I asked about the history of the place too mich was very interesting, ask them and they will happily answer.
They also did a lovely traditional breakfast too There wasn't anything I didn't like, I was sad to see such a lovely place not so busy though!
They have a lovely bar down stairs with loads of musicians photographs on the walls and you could see that they did have a thing going for a while, I fell as though they may just want to slow down with a quieter pace of life which I completely get if that's the case! But you could feel there was a sense of memories that had been made when they had events on, I think they mentioned since covid it hadn't been the same. Either way it's a lovely place and the staff were friendly and kind.
- Katie (9/5): - The room was clean, breakfast was excellent and the staff were very helpful and polite. Towels need to be bath towels (larger size)
- Jennie (9/5): - Comfy bed, quiet, clean No spoon in room but thats a minor
- Julie (9/5): Very enjoyable - The breakfast was excellent such a good choice, couldn't fault it. Would definitely stay again Floor boards were very cheeky but it's and old building so not surprised. Traffic noise in the morning, but would not stop us staying again.

- Geoff C (9/5): Excellent nights sleep - For work I just needed a bad for a night. But this low priced hotel exceeded expectations. Its an old building, but the room was very clean, well appointed, all required facilities. Bed comfortable, no noise. Breakfast offered was very good. Can't think of any improvements.

Wonderful breakfast Stairs a bit awkward to cary up cases , but staff happy to assist
- Jan (8/5): Good value, friendly staff and convenient location. - Good choice breakfast. Convenient for where I needed to be and mostly quiet despite being on main road( so easy to find) Didnt like paper cups in the rooms but can see why they are used.
- VICTOR (10/5): It was all that I required plus a little bit more. - The gentleman who greeted me on arrival was polite, efficient and very knowledgeable of the locality, and pointed out 3 very good places to eat within 10 minutes walk. My room was light, airy and very comfortable with decent sized shower room. The breakfast menu was exceptional and the chef a most engaging personality. You are really spoilt for choice. All in all, a very pleasant stay. Stairs to the rooms are a bit steep.
- Kim (10/5): Friendly, relaxed and would definitely book again if I was in the area. - It was spotlessly clean, white towels and sheets. Breakfast was amazing. Value for money was exceptional. Can’t fault it for a 3 star hotel.
- Pete (8/5): My stay ? I enjoyed the Gerka food in town, it was excellent - It served its purpose for the night. Very sparse, no offer of an early breakfast. Not even a cold bacon sandwich.
- Alexander (10/5): Great, no problems. - Flexible check in time, lovley room, great breakfast lots of options. Nothing could have been better.
- Felicity (7/5): For work purposes it served its purpose. - It was good value for money. Breakfast was good. It was disappointing having paper cups in the room for your coffee and the basic necessities.
- Tom (9/5): - Great staff.
- Irwin (9/5): What a lovely, welcoming hotel - Breakfast is as you like it - just ask and it arrives within a few minutes.
Room was a nice size and comfortable
Staff are very welcoming and kind - good advice about local eateries etc My room heating is separate from the main house and went off for a night but was put right as soon as I mentioned it.
- Julia (8/5): Very happy with this hotel. It was very good value for money. - Breakfast and the staff were excellent.
- Krzysztof (8/5): Highly recommend this place! - A hotel with true British charm, located in a small 19th-century mansion. The room, although full of old-fashioned spirit, was very well maintained and spotless. The banquet hall downstairs was pleasant, clean, and tidy. The service (most likely the owner) was excellent—polite, honest, and friendly.
The only thing I missed during my stay was other guests and an open bar during the Halloween weekend.
So if you are looking for a peaceful and intimate place to spend your nights, this will be perfect for you.
However, if you’re after music and a lively bar atmosphere, this is not the place.
Overall, I highly recommend it!

- Jan (7/5): A friendly, accessible and good value stay - For me, location great. Easy to get to and near where I needed to be. Good value with no extra charges for breakfast. Floorboards and bed in room creaky. Mattress poor. Little water pressure at sink for hot water but shower ok.
- Roger (8/5): A pleasant and enjoyable overnight stay. - Great location for visiting the NEC with good access to the M6 motorway. The rooms were clean and comfortable and an excellent breakfast was served fresh to order in the morning. Without prompting, the owner recommended a superb Indian restaurant a short walk away and we weren't disappointed. The provision of off street parking was appreciated. In summary, we had a pleasant overnight stay and would definitely use again when next in the area. Nothing really.
- Andy (9/5): - Good central location with free parking
- Isobel (10/5): Excellent hotel - The hotel is easy to find. My room was spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed - a great night's sleep. The shower was nice and hot and toiletries were provided. Breakfast was excellent and all the staff I met were welcoming and helpful. Thoroughly recommended.
- jason (7/5): -
- Brian (7/5): Nicely situated but needs new mattress on bed. Otherwise good value for the price. - Nice clean room. Good breakfast. Great location for our needs. Friendly staff. The bed not comfortable. Drainage in bathroom not good and shower head not good.
- Edward (10/5): - Very friendly and helpful. Nice and quiet when we stayed. Breakfast was excellent. usb points either side of bed. Perfect for what we wanted.
- Charles Iain (9/5): A good stay - Good off road parking. I was not disturbed during the night. Plenty of hot water in the shower. On Sunday morning the breakfast was not too late as I had to leave by 9am unlike some places I have stayed in. It had been a very warm day so the room was warm in the night. Nothing else.
- Sharon (10/5): Would recommend - Lovely place and great staff. Breakfast was excellent . Good parking, rooms clean and spacious
- Martin (9/5): - Big bed, great breakfast Next to main road but it's quiet enough at night

- p (9/5): -
- BEATTIE8181 (10/5): Great all round place if it was a bit cheeper - Brilliant place to stay just a little expensive for what it is at 68 pound a night... If it was a bit cheeper I'd definitely stay again.. Even with the windows closed you could here the boy racers racing up and down the road most the night for my second night there so didn't get much sleep... Also think breakfast could be a little later that 7am to 8.30am
- Phil (9/5): - Very helpful staff and great breakfast N/A
- Paul (5/5): Could do better - Fabulous breakfast kept us going all day We were surprised that the room wasn't serviced daily given how much we paid. Paper cups for coffee making were not appropriate if they're not going to be proactively replaced each day. Guests shouldn't have to get the cups replaced themselves. Insufficient shower gel and shampoo provided for 2 people for 1 night let alone 2 nights if the room wasn't going to be serviced. If we'd been told when we checked in that the room wasn't going to be serviced it wouldn't have come as such a shock when we returned to the room at the end of our first day to find the bed unmade.
- Ludvig (9/5): A pleasant stay, quiet at night, would recommend. - The breakfast was excellent, the room was clean & tidy, would recommend. with the layout of the hotel, there was no lift to take large bags to the room, but apart from that everything was excellant
- Stan (10/5): -
- JOHN (8/5): - Free parking and location N / A
- Kevin (9/5): -
- Terry (8/5): - Location to town centre Cleaning could be a little better
- Diane (6/5): Thank you for the warm welcome. - The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was lovely. The tea making facilities could be improved with china rather than paper cups and the shower temperature was either very hot or very cold. Overall our stay was lovely, we understand that the the recovery from the pandemic and the economic climate will take time. Thank you for the warm welcome
- Steve (9/5): -

Super clean!
Super comfortable!
Excellent breakfast!
Good parking facilities!
Walking distance of town centre and park! Perfect nothing to complain about!
Other establishments could learn a lot from Abbey Grange!
- Stockley (8/5): Great, 3 minute drive from my work site - Breakfast was great, cooked to choice. Maybe a small fan in the room.
- Yip (10/5): Superb hotel stay - Pierre sent us a friendly e-mail on the time of check-in before our arrival. Martin was a very gentle staff and explained things to us in detail. clean and spacious twin room with comfy beds. Although the inflow of water after each toilet flush made a little noise, it did not affect us at all. The hotel was about 10~15 minutes walk from the town, where we could visit the local shops, restaurants and the Saturday market, which were attractive to us. The breakfast was superb and the cook was great! Thank you! We could hear a little traffic noise from the room we stayed in, but the noise faded at night and was not a problem to us.
- David (8/5): Breakfast falls short of pleasant stay - It was clean and nice room The Breakfast could have been better there wasn't the availablity of helping yourself to ceareals and accomplishments the cooked breakfast was nice
- Blessing (10/5): Exceptional -
