• Yasmine (10/5): - Mr. Amr reached out before we arrived to ask if we needed anything for our rooms, not a standard form, an actual message. It set the right expectation. Grand Ocean is one of the best we've tried in El Sokhna, and we've been to most of them. What stood out wasn't the facilities. It was the staff. They noticed things before we did. We'd barely think of something and it was already handled. We had a family birthday during the stay. The team organized a complimentary cake without us having to chase anyone. The Food and Beverage team were particularly excellent, attentive and genuinely warm, not just going through the motions. The property is well maintained. Three pools, one for kids, a clean beach, tidy rooms. Everything just worked smoothly, which is honestly what you want on a vacation. The team here is hardworking and always on the move. They strike the perfect balance between professional and personable. Highly recommend Grand Ocean to anyone visiting El Sokhna, especially for families.

The quality of care and service was exceptional- especially Iibrahim on the front desk! Walls / paintwork and some building work makes it all look a bit run down from outside.

Les activités et la mer se situe à proximité le seul petit hic c’est juste que parfois si vous voulez prendre une bière ou un cocktail la maison ne sert pas d’alcool

Mohamed khater and Mis sherihan was really great team ..even they have upgraded my room to suit and add extra bed to my child without any extras. • Mustafa (7/5): Staff is nice and polite, rooms are comfy and clean, the pictures added are so misleading - Mr Amr in the reception was very very helpful and he took very good care of us from day one and offered us a free upgrade to a suite instead of the deluxe superior room. He is very decent, warm welcoming and respectful; he was keen to make us comfortable in every way. Generally, all the staff was very nice, polite, and helpful. The food had varieties and the quality of the dinner was very good. I had mixed feelings about my stay. The biggest issue for me was how misleading the photos on Booking are. The hotel advertises rooms with garden and open sea views, but that’s not really the case. It turns out those views are actually from privately owned chalets, not the hotel rooms. In reality, there’s barely any view from the rooms except the pool directly below. While they do mention in comments that there’s no sea view, the photos give a completely different impression and set the wrong expectations. The layout of the hotel is also quite disconnected. The rooms are in one area with a pool in front, but the other pools are far away and require a golf car to get to. The beach is the same situation. Most of the time, especially at night, golf cars aren’t available, which makes moving around inconvenient. It gives the impression of a large, open resort, but in reality everything feels separated and not easily accessible. Another issue was the coffee machine at breakfast, which wasn’t working for the two days we stayed. Overall, the stay was okay, but these points really affected the experience.

Amr the reception manager and the housekeeping team prepared a very nice decoration and a cake for my wife's birthday as a special request. It was a great surprise. + The sea is very clear, the beach is very nice. Great rental water activities like Jet Skis, and pedal boats. Lots of seating available. + Golf cart to take you to the beach is always available. Beach is a very short walk away. - Mattress is a little short. Taller people may be uncomfortable in the bed.

• Ebtehal Hamdy Ahmed (10/5): - I recently stayed at Grand Ocean El Sokhna for 3 nights, and it was such a great experience. The overall service was very professional, and the staff were genuinely attentive to our comfort throughout the entire stay. The food was excellent, with a great variety and quality that exceeded expectations. Everything felt well-organized and thoughtfully managed. A special mention to Ahmed Rabie from housekeeping — he did an amazing job! He cleaned the room so quickly and left it spotless and shining in just 10 minutes. His efficiency and attention to detail really stood out. The beach is a bit rocky, but the rocks are soft — I was able to walk without shoes comfortably. There’s also a golf car available to take you to the beach, although it’s just a short 5–8 minute walk if you prefer. Overall, a very pleasant and relaxing stay. Definitely recommended! Everything was impeccably clean, and the variety of choices—from savory dishes to desserts—was impressive. Every meal was absolutely delicious. We also enjoyed fantastic beach activities that created a magical atmosphere. The attention to detail is everywhere, including the convenient golf carts that were always ready to transport us anywhere in the resort. What really stood out to me was the management. During busy restaurant hours, I saw the managers working side-by-side with their team with so much love and dedication. The smiles never left their faces, which created such a positive vibe. A special thank you to Mr. Amr, who kindly offered us two connecting rooms instead of the apartment; this was a fantastic alternative that worked perfectly for us. The food was delicious, and the rooms were both spacious and impeccably clean. While the indoor dining space is quite compact, the availability of the outdoor seating area was a welcome alternative. However, in case of Apartments the view from the balcony was unfortunately marred by visible waste in the surrounding area, which detracted from the atmosphere (you can also observe it in the way to beach by golf car). Additionally, we found the evening entertainment to be underwhelming; the experience would be significantly improved if the performances were held by the seafront rather than positioned directly in front of the buildings. Finally the beach was crowded but it was overall good.

The staff were very friendly and professional, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was calm and relaxing.
