The complimentary breakfast was homemade and delicious, and the service was warm and inviting! The room was comfortable and cozy. The property's vineyards and orchards were breathtaking. The pool was glorious overlooking the property. The location was nearby some beautiful sites and a superb restaurant. It's a great spot for exploring Alghero, Bosa and the gorgeous coast. Highly recommend!

Uitstekend ontbijt waarbij koffie naar keuze door zeer vriendelijk personeel vers werd gemaakt. Elke dag schone handdoeken en opmaken bed. Gerund door eigenaar en zijn zussen. Niets.

• Michèle (10/5): Un lieu superbe à découvrir ! - Un environnement exceptionnel : l'établissement est implanté au milieu de vieux oliviers, entouré de vignes et d'arbres fruitiers. Très bon accueil. Nous avons même bénéficié d'une petite villa au lieu d'une simple chambre, sans supplément de prix. Les locaux, les espaces verts ainsi que la piscine sont très bien entretenus. Un grand parking est à notre disposition. Petit déjeuner copieux et varié, à volonté.

All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a real highlight – delicious homemade jams, cheeses, fresh pastries, and more. The pool was a beautiful bonus – clean, warm, and overlooking the peaceful garden. A truly relaxing stay!

• Peter (10/5): A great place for your stay near Alghero, close to lots of beautiful beaches. - The breakfast was amazing, different home made cakes every morning, fresh fruit and great sardinian ricotta with honey all served in the outdoor patio. I usually don’t eat much for breakfast but made an exception during our stay. The room was perfect in size for our family of four, everything was spotless and incredibly for this time of year we hardly had to use the a/c even being on the last floor. We had a beautiful view of the orchard and vineyard from our room window. The swimming pool is just a bonus after a full day on the beach but you will remember Casale degli Ulivi because Gennaro and his sister make you feel at home. Thanks again for a great stay and for your tips on restaurants and beaches!!! We hope to be back soon. There is nothing we didn’t like.

• Alper (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful family who hosted us. Everything was good organized. We had a late check in, but Gennaro waited us patiently. Thank you. Next time I leave my daughter for 3 months.
• Anthea (9/5): Beautiful pool and breakfast, friendly and value for money - This was by far the cheapest of our three hotels and totally value for money. The pool is salt water and the lining is grippy and beautiful and the backdrop gorgeous. The breakfast was great and the ladies that serve it were so friendly. The rooms were done in a rustic style to complement the location etc but were comfortable and the air conditioning worked. Two labradors who were gorgeous :) Our only slight hiccup was that I had asked for a double room and a twin room (grown up adult children) and we got two doubles and there was no way to change. That said we split the mattress and put one on the floor and they gave us extra sheets etc so it really wasn't that important.

• Nilsson (10/5): A perfect accommodation in the Alghero region! - Very nice, clean and good room for a family of four persons. (2 adults, 2 kids 10 and 12 years old) For us it was a perfect size of room. Nice bathroom, nice beds, and nice clean architecture. The pool was nice. And the view over the vineyards, the olive trees and Monte Doglia was perfect! Good classic Italian breakfast, good coffee. The host and his staff are great and very warm and welcoming! They have two sweet and calm labrador dogs that our kids fell totally in love with! Can really recommend this place if you look for a calm and nice place to stay when you explore the region around Alghero etc.

Our room was clean and for our 2 night stay totally fine - we could have stayed longer, it was cozy. The breakfast is typical italian with lots of sweets. You can order some toast and coffee. We would recommend staying at Casa degli ulivi.

• John (8/5): A pleasant stay in a scenic spot but a couple of minor niggles. - Lovely breakfast and the ladies serving were really lovely. Pool area was great. The room was spacious with a comfy bed. The road it is on is busier than I'd anticipated. Some traffic noise. The room which comprised a good sized living space with sofa bed for my kids and a bedroom for us had no aircon unit in our bedroom and one in the living space which was noisy and at floor level and literally blasted cold air straight at the kids 2 feet away. It was kind of impossible to balance the air temp across the whole sleeping area. Lack of info about local area, food options, wine tasting possibilities etc.

• Charlotte (9/5): Friendly & relaxing stay. - Very comfortable & clean rooms. The swimming pool was a lovely area to relax in & the surroundings were very picturesque. Gennaro was very welcoming, friendly and helpful & all the staff worked hard to make our stay a pleasant one. The property was convenient for beaches & driving to Alghero. Not much - it would have been useful to have a sign or marker to show the entrance to the parking as it was easy to miss the turn especially at night.

Everyone working there is extremely friendly and wants to help their customers feel at-home. Some of the best service we received in all of Sardinia. It’s an “agriturismo” but right on a busy road. We had expected a quieter location and more of a farm. I’d call it a bed and breakfast, more than a farm-stay. Also, I think on booking.com, they advertise the accommodations as 5-star. It’s a VERY nice 3-star facility. We didn’t need or want 5-stars but for people expecting that level of service and accommodations, they will be disappointed.

• Sean (10/5): A wonderful find - We visited for a few days in September and really enjoyed our stay. The owners and staff were always pleasant friendly and and advised on anything we wished. The breakfast was superb always cheerful in ambience with delicious homemade cakes and tarts, homemade conserves and jams, fresh ricotta, fresh fruit and other local delicacies. The infinity pool is lovely – warm and clean and gives the appearance of flowing directly into the vineyards beyond. The added bonus of the restaurant owned by the patron was welcome too. Would return and recommend.

The lady was really attentive and so good with our baby. Lovely, peaceful location not far from Alghero and lots of beaches. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool with amazing views.

• Mandy (8/5): Beautiful place to stay in a rural location near the hustle and bustle of Alghero - The swimmingpool, the garden, the view, the dogs and the hospitality of Gennaro. He really makes you feel welcome. The family room is on the ground floor, so when you step out of the door the other guests are right in front of your room having breakfast under the patio… Also the room is pretty noisy (wooden ceiling) so when you’re ‘lucky’ to have upper neighbours on the 1st floor with a little child running around early in the morning, you don’t need an alarmclock :) With 4 persons in a family room, a shelve in the bathroom would be handy for all the toiletries.

A 20mn d Alghero qui est une tres belle ville, et tres sympa le soir. Le personnel est accueillant et sympa. Bon wifi.

Who needs WiFi anyway when you’re in such a beautiful place 😁

• Liselotte (10/5): Recommended! - since we arrived early our room wasn’t ready yet, but the very friendly staff showed us what we could go and see in the meantime. On our arrival back we received a complementary room upgrade. Breakfast was nice with local products. the location was ideal for daytrips to the vicinity.
• Rita (7/5): Disappointing. Does not deserve the rating on booking.com. - It is not an agroturismo. It does not have a vegetable garden or animals. It does not have its own kitchen other than for a very limited offering at breakfast. That is NOT an agroturismo. Beware. Make sure that you get the room you are paying for. The owner presents himself as someone who knows everything and everyone, he sent us to a restaurant on Wednesday in Alghero on a day that the restaurant is closed. When I reported it to him he stated that we arrived too late in the afternoon, although a large sign on the restaurant front door said it is closed on Wednesday. We paid for a room with limited natural light although I had reserved for another type of room. I always expect people act in good faith, and only looked at my reservation on the last day. We had paid upon our arrival. My mistake. Do not make the same mistake. I stayed at other hotels and bread & breakfasts during my 15 day holiday in Sardinia, this stay was the only one that disappointed.

• Amilcar (10/5): Exceptional - Gennaro and Anna were amazing hosts, making all in their hands to make us feel welcomed. We were traveling with our under-2 yo daughter and made our stay smooth and easy. They immediately connected with her, and she with them (one week later she keeps asking to see the photos of our stay and saying their names!) The place is great and very well located to visit different beaches. Also, Gennaro gives really good recommendations of where to go and eat, and every place we went to visit and/or eat was definitely worth it.

• Maurizio (10/5): Exceptional place to stay for a family with kids. Family run place which is a huge plus. - The property is family run and that to me is the first big plus. Gennaro, Anna and his family are proud of their property and of their business and you can feel it. They are welcoming, accomodating and always ready to be helpful. You feel very much as if you are an extension of their family. Waking up in the morning to the smell of freshly baked homemade cakes is to die for. As I said they went out of their way to make us feel at home. We went with a 5 year old super demanding kid and she was so so happy. Their restaurant suggestions were spot on. Also a word of mention to Kimba, the mascot of the property. An absolute sweetheart. Will definitely return there for take two of Sardignia. I cannot really find anything that I didnt like. Even though the property does not have a restaurant I consider this to be a plus because it ensures that there is peace and quiet which of course cannot be guaranteed if you have external patrons. Nevertheless the owners have their own restaurant which is just round the corner off the property.
