- Mohammad Rhino (8/5): Pleasant Stay - I recently stayed at this hotel and had a generally pleasant experience. The check-in process was quick and smooth, and the staff were friendly and welcoming, always ready to assist with any questions. The room was clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. The bed provided a good night’s sleep, and the amenities were all in good working condition. Housekeeping did a great job keeping everything tidy throughout my stay. One small downside was that the wifi and aircon options were somewhat limited, and the service during peak hours could be a bit slow. However, this did not significantly affect my overall experience.

Rooms in general were clean and we are also able to cook if we would like to. The service was slow when we requested extra pillows, we went out and come back, pillows were not there and we waited for more than 45mins after calling up again. They mentioned we put "Do not Disturb" sign outside the door, but they could have leave a slip under our door to inform us about it.

- Noor (9/5): Hotel staffs are the main highlights that always differentiate one hotel from another 🥰 - The hotel itself is already 1 of the best in Batam but the thing that made a difference are the staffs. Always welcoming, friendly and helpful. I want to highlight some names, from front desk - Weny, Iffa, Dita, Indra and of course many others (sorry I don't remember their names). From belldesk Indra, Derry. Also theres 1 who always helped me, he has a long Indonesian name, so sorry I can't remember 🙏 actually all the bellmen are helpful. Wah come to think of it, actually all the staffs at your hotel are always ready to help, friendly and always smile. Thank you to the securities also.

Their welcoming attitude creates a pleasant dining experience for guests and reflects well on the restaurant’s hospitality standards. It has been observed that a cockroach was found in the room, which highlights the need to further improve cleaning standards. In addition, hand towels were not replaced as expected.

I personally like the hotel building , it gives a good first impression and is something you actually looking forward when you arrive We selected the apartment for our 4d3n stay, however the room did not seem to be well maintained. The air con in the living hall was not cold, the fridge was not functioning properly as it was not cold and had a foul smell. The lift was quite slow, especially during peak hours. Additionally the swimming pool felt small for a hotel of that size, some parts of the pool floor appeared slightly popped.

- Rozita (6/5): Not value for money - The beds are comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and met our expectations, with a wide variety of food and drinks. We checked in on Christmas Day and waited almost two hours for the room to be ready. There were insufficient passenger lifts, which were shared with maintenance, housekeeping, and bell services, making the experience unpleasant. We stayed in a three-bedroom apartment, but amenities were provided for only two people. Dish soap was not available in the kitchen, and an iron was not provided and had to be requested.

- Tina Andresha (6/5): Aston - Staff was very friendly and helpful. Driver Abdul was very attentive to our needs. Help us with our baggage and sent us to the ferry terminal. Breakfast spread wasn't up to standard (taste wise) and there was a live band downstairs. Session ended at 10pm. I brought my 16 month toddler and it was so difficult for her to sleep. I was at the 6th floor and wasn't even facing the restaurant but it was so loud. Lift was slightly slow. Location was near the road so I could hear motorcycles even after 1am.

- Compass13840689894 (6/5): Level 10 SPA - We have frequented Astons countless times, and today We decided to write this review for several reasons. Great Hotel Overall Location: Very convenient, with easy access to nearby amenities and attractions. Rooms: Spacious, clean, and comfortable, with modern amenities and free Wi-Fi. Breakfast: Good, with a nice variety of choices. The jamu is a definite plus point. Facilities: Nothing much to complain about, although the lift lobby can be slow during peak hours. This time, we decided to try the Aston Spa at Level 10, as most of us were exhausted from walking and shopping. Unfortunately, this turned out to be a very poor experience and is something that could seriously tarnish the Aston brand. A few of us took turns trying the spa, and every one of us was disappointed. The “massage” felt more like light tingling and was not a proper massage at all. Oil was applied, but there were no real massage strokes or techniques, giving the impression that the therapist lacked experience. The therapist kept talking and repeatedly pushed add-on services during the session, which was very irritating and unprofessional. The worst part was being asked for a tip at the end (Rp100,000), Tipping itself is not an issue, but being asked especially after such poor service left a very bad impression. ( therapist was an abit older among the rest with shoulder-length hair). We gave the tip to few of them to avoid spoiling our holiday. Overall, Aston remains an excellent hotel that we truly enjoy staying at. However, the spa experience urgently needs improvement, as it does not reflect the quality and standards we associate with Aston.

Apartment tower in need of an update/reno. Esp the common toilets and master bathroom should have raised doorway to the shower area to stop water ffrom flowing out to the rest of the toilet. This leaves the entire toilet wet. We needed to request for extra bathroom rugs daily because of this.

- Min Hui (5/5): Alright. - The location of the property is great, not too far away from the malls. They have a nice gym too, and cleanliness is okay. The air-conditioning was not working well. Had to call in the technician, and it was only working for max of 7h. It was just blowing air afterwards. Also, the slippers are so so thin. Kept tripping over the carpet.

Have written the list of repairs and handed to staff upon checking out. Hope the hotel will look into it.

Service was also decent, with daily housekeeping and topping up of potable water. Although there was a big spread for daily breakfast buffet, the quality of food was not always consistent or good.
