Please note this property requires all guests pay a bond of NZD 1000 per apartment to cover any incidental charges. The bond will be paid direct to the property managers 10 days prior to the guest’s arrival via a payment link sent direct to the guest’s email. Access will not be given to the property until the bond is received. The bond will be refunded when an exit inspection has been completed to confirm that there is no excessive cleaning required, excessive rubbish to be removed or any damage to the property. Should the cost for reparations exceed the bond amount, the property reserves the right to charge the card supplied at booking/bond payment.
The property manager will reconfirm all aspects of your booking including payment terms, cancellation policy and bond requirements immediately upon receipt of your online booking.

- Olivia (8/5): Great location, poor customer service. - This was our second stay at Melbourne st Apartments. We love the location and the layout of the apartment for a family. Heated floors & towel rails are also amazing. We believe the management may have changed since our last visit as the service team was Overseas which we didn’t encounter last time. The service was horrible being offshore. Little care factor.
We did request a certain bed configuration suited to our family, however upon arrival the beds were not configured this way.
Couch filthy cracks full of food.

- Olivia (8/5): Lovely apartment - Loved the space and size of the apartment for the family. Ok location, a big walk up a hill, but otherwise fine. Fabulous stay! Garage was tight - we had to return our car and swap for a vehicle without roof racks to fit it in the garage. That was annoying as we wanted the roof rack for our skis.

More than that when we arrived early the staff were so accommodating in bag and even vehicle storage and were so quick to help with anything we required. We will be staying here every time we visit Queenstown it was a fantastic experience. Nothing really, there was a problem with one of the blankets after a message it was replaced immediately. I can’t fault them on anything.
- Frequentwanderer (8/5): Beautiful apartment best suited to winter. Selfish neighbours - New property within walking distance of central Q/Town. Property is well appointed and comfortable with views from the balcony towards town and up towards the Skyline Gondola. Beds comfortable, double glazing, new fixtures and fittings. Did not run out of hot water. Friendly cleaning staff. Helpful office staff - able to leave our luggage at the property for a few extra hours while we waited for our flight. Our visit was early February 2023 and the weather was warm. The 3 bedrooms do not have aircons or fans. The windows and sliding doors have no security screens so if you leave your doors open to get the rooms cool your property is not secure. There is one aircon in the living room. There are ongoing roadworks on Melbourne St and Sydney St adjacent to the property. The walk into town is via the very steep Stanley St. We found walking it 3 times a day too much in the heat and took the occasional taxi (minimum fare $20).
Of the 10 nights we spent in the property, 5 of them were accompanied by the noise of parties from the Amity Queenstown Serviced Apartments next door and from a property on Hallenstein Street above.

- Mardi (9/5): Would stay again as - Great location, clean and comfortable with everything we could have needed/wanted Underfloor heating was on and made the apartment to hot as it was warm outside. Instructions said we weren’t supposed to turn it off/adjust it so we had to have windows open all the time to try and regulate the temperature
- Ashby (10/5): Best place to stay in Queenstown - Top location, short walk to all the best Queenstown attractions. Really nice property! Outdoor furniture on the roof has seen better days. Needs to be replaced.
- Chris (10/5): - Great location - 10 mins walk to Queenstown. Super quiet for sleeping - awesome comfortable beds and pillows and fantastic BBQ. Loved the top deck at wine o'clock with the mountain views. No chance of being cold, with heated flooring, electric blankets, wall heaters and heat pump. Not that we needed it, with nicer weather. Easy to from start to finish.

Stay here with friends or families if you want a quiet location close to town. There is a 10min walk back up the hill at the end of the evening but i’d take that just to stay here.
