Annette Nelson (8/5): Green Hills is really good for short stays, excellent location, value for money and neat and clean. - Location was great as it gave us access to both Keurbooms beach and Natures Valley. The new owners are busy with upgrading the accommodation, adding new touches. It had everything we needed and more. Hosts were great, and we loved the visits from the reindeer. There could be hooks in the kitchen to hang drying cloth, kitchen cloth and plastic bags.

Kevin (1/5): Disastrous - Nothing, The experience was a nightmare from day 1. I will never recommend this property to anyone. The self catering unit was nothing like what we saw online. It was less than a 1 star accommodation. There was no proper shower, we had to use a hand shower and then got told we cant shower because there is no water. We had a gas heater that only worked for a short while and then we had no curtains in the bathroom and other guests picking lemons outside the bathroom while my wife was in the shower. Completely unprofessional and a complete joke. We had to ask for a fan. No fan and no aircon at all. They said we get a private pool and we got a plastic kids pool. We were told the Gran Mother had to be kicked out to make space for us. The place was dirty and was not guest ready when we arrived. The on suite was actually the Gran Mothers stuff shoved in to hide it and the whole family had to use 1 bathroom. There was no microwave at all. There was cockroaches in the unit and out. There was no curtains in the rest of the unit for privacy. Anyone could walk past and just look into the unit while we slept.

We had a nice welcome pack on our arrival. in the morning we woke up to deer just outside. Our stay was too short to enjoy fully. The 2 bedroom cottage was lovely but has only one bathroom. The bathroom was in the kids room.

The only suggestion we would have is to have a comfy chair (or couch) added. We did not have anywhere to sit comfortably. Having wood non stop for braai and heating up the jacuzzi was a bonus. Safe and very neat environment. Plenty of space within the facility and great for kids. No cu boards . I would use under the staircase to create cupboards space for people staying longer than 2 days. The fridge is also very small . I would recommend at least a full one door fridge.

Angela (8/5): Lovely stay, too short to have really experienced the room to its full, but we like the amenities! - Service of the owners was excellent, they helped with a slightly earlier check in even over the busy festive season. Generators available during black outs. Nothing not to really like… the stairs to the top floor are a bit difficult / dangerous with small children, but can be managed.
