Guest Reviews
- Elaine (4/5): - The facility was run down. Outdoor spa wasn’t working, parking garage had part of the ceiling coming down and many small repairs needed in the unit.
- Emma (4/5): Good location, not so great amenities. - Proximity to lifts was great and close to bus station to go to town Felt very run down. Coffee machine was broken and took 4 days to get a new one, hot tub wasn’t available (but lounge/clubhouse wouldn’t have been somewhere to sit in anyways). Zero ability to watch any sort of streaming on the TVs. This was a huge drawback after long days skiing - weren’t able to sit and watch tv. Also very limited cleaning supplies and cooking supplies.
- Eran (6/5): -
- Craig (9/5): -
- OLGA (8/5): -
- Jared (10/5): - Very clean and cozy place
- Hess (10/5): - Price and location to slopes
- Justin (8/5): - The place worked well and was a really nice stay. Location is great and near restaurants and could get to the different locations we needed to. Want I didn’t like was check-in process and communication about it even where the office was within the complex. No big deal not having swimming but my kids didn’t like the idea of having to go to the neighboring complex to use if they wanted.
- Joy (10/5): We had a great stay and enjoyed our time in the cozy little condo. - Clean and friendly staff. Bed wasn’t the most comfortable but was okay.
- Art (10/5): - We absolutely loved it!!!
- Martyn (6/5): Good location and clean but very dark and stuffy - Location was good. Good to have parking. Unit was clean and well equipped Bright light shinning into room at night, aircon was incredibly noisy, flights of stairs had no lighting, unit was very dark inside with hardly any windows..very stuffy
- Fred (9/5): -
- Darryl (8/5): - We enjoyed the stay during August and the air conditioning was good. My wife enjoyed the kitchen and everything she needed was there. Wished we had a unit facing toward the library and Park in front but maybe next time. The bed was clean and comfortable, we slept good. Bathroom was clean and perfect. The free parking was great.
- Susan (10/5): - Love the library and park across the street. Free parking
- Christine (4/5): - The sofa bed was broken and they did nothing to help us sleep more comfortable for 2 nights. I called the after hours customer service and they said they could do nothing for us until the morning. The assistant manager was not helpful at all and didn't even apologize or try to help us. I had to contact Expedia to get any help. My teens slept on a thin, uncomfortable couch bed mattress for 2 nights on the floor. Would not go back or recommend.
- Brian (5/5): -
- Kathy (6/5): Older property - Older property, but had two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Only one bedroom had a TV. It needed to be cleaned! Hair on the bathtub wall, every surface needed wiping off, including the nightstand, found almond pieces on the carpets, just hoping the bedding was clean!
- Lisa (8/5): - Great downtown place to stay on a budget. Room was very very clean. Only downside was check in. There was minimal information given and the staff wasn’t very friendly. I never did find the common room? Overall great place
- Illya (8/5): - great place, close to main street. I wish they would tell me in advance how to check-in when the office is closed
- Nolen (7/5): Good -
- Simmi (6/5): - The property is fine, safe and clean - however, it's quite old and run down, depending one the price, it was not a good value for money - Expedia doesnt list it as a time share property which runs from friday to friday so if you have different days you may be in 2 separate rooms/reservations, the property manager was kind enough to fix it but Expedia didnt seem to be bothered by this error.
- John (10/5): Exceptional -
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Dishwasher was broken, as was the hot tub (major reason for booking), and 10am mandatory checkout is earlier than the 1100 industry standard, and no late checkouts available.
- David (6/5): - The 2nd bath shower valve was broken, the blender was broken and the dishwasher wasn’t installed properly, the jacuzzi and pool were both closed.
- Kaytlyn (10/5): - Stayed here for a week to snowboard and it was great. Walkable to the lifts and to downtown. Will be staying here again.
- Leandro (6/5): Good and lucky to find this for Sundance. Would not pay that same rate at a normal time of the year - Close to ski resort Spa was closed. No service at all. Extremely expensive
- Joshua (10/5): - Great!
- Carter (8/5): - Not bad at all for the price!
- Verified traveler (4/5): Big Rooms, but NO SLEEPING IN FOR YOU! - The property is fine while dated (big rooms, spacious and everything you need for a longer stay) especially for the price EXCEPT, you don't get to sleep! You can hear furniture moving constantly (which could be remedied by little wool tabs on the bottoms of the chairs). First day I woke up to the sound of loud thumps and furniture moving at 7:00am (I arrived at midnight), when I went outside to see what it was, the housekeepers were above my room cleaning, they asked me if they could help and I asked why they were cleaning at 7am, the response was "Today is check out day, we have to clean the rooms to be ready!" It was a Friday morning - so many questions, but the trend continued daily so I never got to sleep past 7am even though I was there for work and got in late nightly.
The rooms are very clean, but feel the cleaning could start at 9am or if it has to start at 7am, make sure you do not have people staying in the rooms below.
One of the two main reasons you get a hotel is a hot shower and a clean bed to sleep. This hotel did not satisfy that idea.
- Robert (8/5): - Walkable to downtown
- Partolan (10/5): Exceptional -
- holly (10/5): - Great property. Will definitely stay here again.
- Andrew (7/5): It is what it was. - The location was OK but difficult to fine at first. Never meet with anyone for the keys and was given the wrong keys on the first night.
- David (8/5): - Great value for summer visit. The rooms were spacious and 2 full bathrooms. Pool was off site and very chloride laden and we choose not to swim
- Ethan (4/5): - We booked two nights and they made us switch rooms each night. One of the employees hit and damaged our car that was parked in their parking garage. The hot tub wasn’t functioning.
- Kelly (2/5): Never again - Construction on street, unable to get to the lodge due to road closure. Attempted to call the number of the lodge multiple times no one answered tried alternative numbers finally got someone to answer and they had to call me back to find out how to get to the lodge. They were not on location eventually they told me to go past the road close signs. Then my car with a two on top was unable to fit into their garage and there was no street parking another hotel to let us park at their site. The Lodge is very outdated multiple areas of rust or rot on the outside , no one on site for questions outdated procedure had a punch in a code to get a key out of a lock box. The actual apartment was clean did have a weird smell. One of the bathroom shower did not work luckily there was a second bathroom to take out your own trash and do the dishes was unaware of that when booking , hot tub was not working at the lodge. There is no pool you have to go to the other hotel in order to use a pool.
- DeAnn (8/5): - Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Our only issue was that we had to keep towels in the refrigerator because water and ice kept collecting inside. The staff was nice and although there was rarely anyone in the office, there is a number to call to talk to someone if needed. The building itself could use some attention. There is crumbling brick and cement around the stairways and the parking garage ceiling needs repaired. A big chunk of insulation fell out onto the ground while while we were there but staff quickly took care of it.
- Elizabeth (8/5): - Excellent value for money. Unit was clean, nicely decorated and comfortable. Beds excellent. I would’ve given 5 stars but the hot tub was not functioning (and clearly hadn’t been for a long time). The lodge had , however, arranged for guests to use the indoor pool and hot tub at a next door hotel, so not all bad. Would stay there again if the hotel remains so competitively priced.
- Barry (7/5): Good value. Please advise of name of entity that charged my credit card. - Interior was fine and clean. Exterior was not attractive. Parking was nice. Exterior appearance
- Sofiane (9/5): Cost was very reasonable for the location / cleanliness / comfort. I recommend. - Resort arranged lock box. No pain!
- Brian (8/5): - The place is very very dated but comfortable and close to the lifts/old town.
- Shu (8/5): Great - Location
Quiet Heather
- Rachel (8/5): - This place was a great location. The unit was clean and check-in/out was easy. The only thing I will say is the hot tub was out of service which was a disappointment.
- Steven (7/5): Good - Perfect location near skiing and downtown. No car required. Rooms were a bit dated but clean. Self check in and out. Small staff, mostly off-site. Friendly and helpful.
- Alice (8/5): Very good - Location to the mountain was amazing. The apartment was so nice. No view at all but we were out skiing so it was not an issue. It was advertised to have a hot tub and pool which was not true. They were located a few blocks away therefore we never used them.
- Blair (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mariiaz (9/5): Superb -
- Ki (7/5): Good -
- Santiago (10/5): - Amazing spot in park city with very comfortable accommodation.
- Darlene (8/5): fun - Park City ski was fun and challenging. location wasn't exactly as advertised. Quite a walk with stairs to the main Park City ski entrance. No hot tub, but I did use it at Sweetwater.
- Ben (10/5): Exceptional - Clean comfortable convenient No complaints
- Michael (10/5): Amazing condo great value highly recommended - The property was really nice one bedroom condo. Very clean and beautiful. The property manager was really nice and courteous. It is next to the park city library, easy access to free buses and shuttles. I would highly recommend this. The entrance is not pretty but the condo itself is really nice.
- John Mark (10/5): - Very comfortable full condo with lots of room and a nice gas fireplace . Not fancy but clean and cozy with covered parking and a 10 min walk to Main Street. Great to have 2 bedrooms/bathrooms!
- Jamie (8/5): Very good - Location is great. Clean and comfortable. It was all we needed for our stay in park city.
- Anderson (10/5): Best value by the Ski lift! - Close to ski lift, walking distance.
- Lee (7/5): Good -
- Laura (5/5): Passable - The space was the perfect size for two people. I liked that there were two bathrooms, a dining table, couch, and kitchen. They advertise a hot tub which was not open. The WiFi does not work/very intermittent. We paid a lot of money (about $400 per night). I would expect the things they advertise the work…. Check out is pretty early at 10am.
- Lawrence (2/5): property needs up keep and paint - location Broken dish washer, club house pool table closed at stairs, noisy construction next door, stairs concrete needs repair, walk ways up hill not lite, snow and ice removal on stairs not done, run down look to garage ceiling damage, the list goes on.
- Mark (7/5): This was a stay at a budget hotel, but not at budget prices. - The location was great, just a few minutes to walk to the lift area.
We were given a 2 bedroom instead of the 1 bedroom apartment that was booked. The heater was loud, really loud and ran a lot, almost all the time. There was a note saying not to lower the heat. It seemed like a very old model that needed to be replaced.
The hot tub was broken. We could go to a different hotel and use theirs, but this is not the kind of inconvenience I expect for the money we paid.
The check-in and check-out was all done remotely. And they expected forms filled out with repeated information and credit card information.
- Tyler (5/5): Great location, questionable housekeeping, and unresponsive staff - Proximity to the lifts couldn’t be beat! About a 5 minute walk to the village with easy access to the stairs from back of the building. We appreciated having a full kitchen and the chair and couch in the living room were comfortable. The fireplace, when working, was very comfy! Upon initial entry, we noticed residual dirt and food on the floor that had not been swept. The unit had a broom and dust pan in the front closet so I cleaned it up myself. Cleanliness of the bathroom also left something to be desired. There was grime and hair left in the bathtub and shower. Some dishes had stains that are expected after much use, but some utensils and dishes looked like they were put into the dishwasher but never run, and then mistakenly returned to the cabinets. I pulled out one of the chairs from the kitchen table and found more leftover food that had not been cleaned from previous occupants. At this point, I emailed the property through Booking.com to request that the unit be cleaned again at their earliest convenience. I never heard back. I also emailed the property directly using the address in the informational booklet and never heard back. The front office was also closed for several days due to the holiday. I went by the office several days to attempt contact, and called the listed phone number when our fireplace stopped working. Someone answered the phone and told us that the office was again closed and that they would contact maintenance. Maintenance arrived the next day and fixed the fireplace. No one ever responded to our request to have the unit cleaned. Also, the property has a clubhouse and hot tub that were advertised for use, but both were closed and locked. We were allowed to use the hot hub at a different property, but that was inconvenient. Very disappointing for the price point.
- Kelly (2/5): Terrible experience - not great. i booked it because of the fireplace and hot tub. Fireplace was shut -off for "the season" , not showing what dates it might be turned on. this was a feature we wanted in the living room area, it was cold ant night too so this was disappointing. No problem, we thought, let's relax in the indoor hot tub and enjoy thjat. Nope, not in operation. they had no pool and we knew that but the hot tub was not filled and running. This was our anniversary trip and not to be able to relax in the hot tub they had indoor that should have been in operation was stupid. Beds were had and uncomfortable too, and the TV's were old plazma stye with not good pictures either. Then a bathroom leak spring and so we could not use it. Thankfully there were two bathrooms . The only thing that we liked was the high pressure shower and the full size fridge. We wont stay there if they can't even keep the hot tub in operation.
- Michael (10/5): - Across the street from the Park City Library and less than a block away from the Park City Ski Resort. It didn't have a swimming pool but had an arrangement with the Sweetwater Lift Lodge to use their pool. Very comfortable.
- Aw (8/5): Very good - Full kitchen facilities were great and plenty of space in flat WiFi was very spotty in room 17
- Luis (10/5): Safe, quiet, and homie stay for Park City visits. - I have stayed here twice and each time I visit I have enjoyed my stay. I find the rooms to be spacious, comfortable, and the area is so quiet. It's walking distance from the main part of Park City which I love but far enough away that it's not loud with traffic. I can't say there is something I didn't like really. The jacuzzi was down which was a bummer because it would be a great way to end the night. But, that's a small detail so I wouldn't say that's a negative that impacts the space in any way.
- Warren (9/5): Great place for the Price - The location and overall unit were fantastic. Main street is a short walk through the neighborhood--about 8 mins away. The value was also great for PC listings. The check-in and check-out procedures were zero contact but included filling out forms and placing them through the office slot as they had little staff, available.
- Amy (10/5): Stayed in a big, immaculately clean condo with everything in a quiet but convenient location. couldn’t ask for more! - very clean, quiet location, spacious hot tub was out of order (but I was made aware of that before my trip)
- Mary (8/5): Very good - great location for skiing. loved covered parking. nice fireplace hot tub was not available. very disappointing
- Doug (8/5): - Nice place well located. Can walk to lifts and downtown. Nice management. Older place but nice sized units.
- Lauren (10/5): - Unit was very spacious and in a great location , close to main ski base
- John (8/5): Excellent value and location, clean suites, and parking availability is a big plus. - Very close to the ski resort, walking distance. No people to receive guests/all virtual or by phone.
- Richard G (10/5): - Great Location - Walkable to Park City Ski, Grocery and Main Street.
- Sandhya (2/5): - The property has great location . 7 min walk from the park city base and 10 min to Main Street for the nightlife. Place is cozy .
We had a TERRIBLE experience with check in . I had called a week back for early checkin since we were taking a early bird flight to get an additional half a day snowboarding on day of arrival . Person on phone confirmed it . On reaching the property , no one was at reception . Called them . They refused to honor the early checkin , said there was no early checkin . They were EXTREMELY rude . We missed that day of snowboarding .
Had to store all our luggage for the whole day in a storage .
After couple of days of stay
I also requested them to ask for an extension by one day ,since we were taking a red eye flight back home . They said guests had already taken the room . We stowed our luggage in the store for the day . We checked later that night before leaving. No one had taken our room .They straight out lied to us.
My experience with the people managing this place was absolutely terrible . They did not have any care for their customers , treated us like crap . I would strongly discourage from renting this place .
- Scott (10/5): - Great location, great price, room had well stocked, very nice fireplace, great kitchen. nice cozy and warm
- Luke (10/5): - Great location!
Hot tub was closed so that was sad.... but that happens.
- Mary (8/5): - The Skiers Lodge is a hidden gem! A great location walkable to the base of PCMR and town! The unit is relatively bare bones, but you can't beat the location. Check in and out was easy and the unit was clean and all you need for a ski getaway!
- Mitchell (8/5): - Great property for 2 couples. Great location for skiing and walking downtown access. Some items need maintenance, including garbage disposal, broiler, and dishwasher. Overall we will look at this property when we come next time...
- Mary (8/5): - The room was nice, clean when we arrived. It sleeps 6 which is better than hotel. 2 rooms, 1 br, 1 living room and 1.5 baths. The fireplace worked as long as we let it cooldown between turning on the timer for an hr. The towel exchange only on Tuesdays. We arrived Monday night. We stayed until Sunday. For a room near skiing this is a good deal. It was a bit sketchy when we arrived, construction next to property. The building needs maintenance condo assoc needs to have structure repaired. rusted rebar showing. in cracked cement outside. This is troublesome to me since construction next door. The hot tub and pool were not in service. We had to walk to another street to use hot tub in 20 degree weather. Just not ideal so most of us opted not to walk in wet swim suit back to condo. This condo room with kitchen, living room and 2 queen beds was a great value. I was reluctant to spend more per night as most condos in the area are twice the amount for 1 week. It is super quite here, our ten year old went sledding everyday across the street. Aside from my first impression of the property its a great value, the room was nice and comfy, we were able to cook a meal in the condo which is impossible at a hotel.
- Shelli (8/5): Park city stay - Great location!! Clean and comfy! Tub drain plugged, close to Park City Main Street.
- Curtis (6/5): - Room was nice and updated with good space. Easy walk to downtown. Building outside, hot tub and laundry area were a little skechy.
- Melodie (8/5): Nice, peaceful place for summer stay. - Nice, clean, roomy enough quiet unit. Met our needs perfectly.
- Chad (8/5): Quick PC stay - Basic condo in a great location
- Robert (10/5): - We enjoyed the stay. The place was cozy. It could use a little maintenance but it was nice and clean and the staff was super friendly.
- Kacy (10/5): - We enjoyed our stay at the Skiers Lodge. It was very clean, quiet and easy to park. Easy walk to main street. Would definitely recommend.
- Michelle (10/5): - This property had everything we needed and more! We really just wanted a bed to sleep in that was walkable to the lifts and downtown. This was 5 minute walk to the base and 10-15 to downtown! This place had a fully stocked kitchen and a lovely living room to lounge in. We will definitely stay again!
- Michael (10/5): - Great place for the price and close proximity (3 min walk) to Park City Village lifts!
- Ronald (10/5): - Great accommodations, location, parking, walking distance to everything
- Jason (10/5): - Was perfect and exactly what we expected. Cozy. Great place for skiers.
- Pavel (10/5): Very nice - Our apartment was very clean and in great condition. It had heated floors, which are much more comfortable than typical forced-air heating, and completely silent. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook a few meals. Off-street covered parking was a big plus during a snow storm. The lodge is a short walk (~10 min) from the main ski lifts. The ski locker assigned to our apartment was broken, but we were given another one. I think we got a good value for money and would stay in this place again
- Amir (8/5): Bang for the buck - The property was a short walk to the lift. The rooms were outdated. Rooms need updating. If you’re just there to sleep, shower, cook, and ski, then you’ll be fine. If you’re planing on spending a lot of time in the room, then you might want to look elsewhere. Other than that, I’d stay there again.
- Dyanna (10/5): - This place was fantastic! We look forward to returning here again.
- Robin (8/5): - Parking was horrible if you have more than 1 vehicle..hit tub unavailable and couldn’t use fireplace
- Sarah (6/5): - It is walkable distance to downtown park city..
It has full kitchen.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Very clean and easy walk to downtown.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Clean and spacious. Pool was not open and we were never notified it wasn’t, no personal check-in, and the office was not open the entire 3 days we were there. Poor customer service and lack of communication in many areas.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Rooms were clean, had a minor problem with our shower, called and they were fast to send someone up to fix it. Beds were a little to firm for our liking but over all it was a great stay.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Absolutely love staying at Skiers Lodge any time we visit Park City. Especially enjoy the Dog Park right across the street.
- Michael (10/5): Good value - Good value, well organized, good amenities.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Close to Main Street
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This was a clean place close to the mountain where half the family was staying so it worked well to stay there
- Verified traveler (8/5): - After reading some of the other reviews I was pleasantly surprised. Nice area, quiet, and safe feeling. Short walk to Park City's main street. The description of the 2 queen bedroom room is missing the fact that it actually has 2 bathrooms too which was awesome. Only issue was that the check in process was a bit confusing since there is no one in the office. Parking is limited also. Besides that I would definitely stay here again.
