The lighting was dim. When I looked at the bulbs, they were older generation flourescent bulbs, not LED. Lighting is important to me. LED would have been easy to do...and it's more energy efficient.

We had a guest above us that had a dog barking during the day and then all thru out the night. I reported it to the front desk after waiting awhile (10pm) and unfortunately the dog continued barking for hours.

Lucky for us Latanya J. the front desk supervisor was there to help. She found us a room which more than made up for the delay. - Janet (3/5): Location was okay, just behind the strip so noise level was decent. - Initial staff (at night) was pleasant however when asked about a different room due to uncleanliness, no rooms were available due to the holiday. One of the beds was not useable (spring board was broken) and room was not fully vacuumed and cleaned.

On arrival found the room had strong odors that room freshener couldn’t have taken care of. A alternative king bed suite offered by was not ready, it was not clean, the drawers and cabinet doors were open, the dish washer was running, the shower drain cover was not fitted and sofa bed without bedding took extra hour to set up. The sofa bed was not comfortable, its like sleeping on springs with a trow on top. The surprises didn’t finish with night, the shower gel was not even filled. This property is best avoided by families. I hope this ordeal ends soon

- furrypython (2/5): Absolutely Disgusting Housekeeping and Subpar Service - I have never been a clean-freak, but the standard of housekeeping service provided at this hotel is utterly unacceptable. Upon checking into my room, it was immediately clear that the unit had not been properly cleaned, or perhaps not cleaned at all. The initial state of the room was frankly disgusting: # Kitchen/Sink The sink was heavily soiled, clogged with a blockage in the drainage pipe, and contained leftover food scraps. # Bedding The sheets were visibly dirty, marked with concerning coffee stains. The advertised "every-other-day" housekeeping service was another major failure. Not only were the staff incredibly late, frequently arriving around 4:00 PM, but the quality of service was appalling. On one occasion, the supposedly "fresh" towels were visibly dirty, damp, and simply left in a wet, disorganized pile on the bathroom floor. I have experienced quality service at other Hilton establishments, such as the Hilton in Chicago, and this hotel’s standards do not even compare. This was an experience of genuinely poor quality service. As a final note, the morning buffet was disappointing; the tortillas served were distinctly stale and smelled off. I am extremely disappointed and will absolutely never stay at this establishment again.
- JoshuaL978 (2/5): Bring your own locksmith! - Thinking of staying here tonight? Pro tip: call ahead to see if they’ve figured out how to make keys! I wish I were joking. We arrived at the Homewood Suites Las Vegas City Center around 10:30 p.m., ready for four nights thanks to a Hilton Grand Vacations promo. It sounded like a great deal — until we learned the hotel had run out of the ability to access rooms. Minor detail. At check-in, the desk rep cheerfully told us, “Head on up to Room 301, I’ll be right up with your keys!” She couldn’t send a digital key, but handed us an empty key envelope anyway. We overheard another guest ask, “Do we have keys today?” but didn’t think much of it… yet. Upstairs, a maintenance guy escorted us to our room like we were entering witness protection, then disappeared. After 15 minutes, we called the front desk to ask when our keys would arrive. The answer: “Oh, I don’t have keys for you yet. I’ll bring them when I do.” When I asked approximately when that would be, she said, “I don’t know — I’m finding out the day after.” THE DAY AFTER? Only then did we learn the hotel hadn’t been able to make keys since Thanksgiving — nearly a week — due to a “missing part” with no ETA. Meaning: when she sent us upstairs with “I’ll be right up with your keys,” she knew that wasn’t true. She lied, and that’s unacceptable. If you’re going to run a keyless hotel, at least warn people that it’s more escape room than suite. It goes without saying: you cannot operate a hotel — or expect guests to feel safe — if they can’t unlock their own door and need an escort just to enter it. Hilton Grand Vacations wasn’t reachable after hours, so we spent 47 minutes on the phone with general Hilton support, whose best suggestion was: “Just stay there tonight, and we’ll work it out tomorrow.” Hard pass. By then it was nearly midnight, we felt unsafe, and finding another room in Vegas at that hour was a scavenger hunt. But stay here? Absolutely not. We left — and I let them know we wouldn’t be returning for the presentation, either. In short: lovely city, terrible stay, zero keys. Bring your own locksmith.

- Stanislaus (9/5): Empfehlenswertes Hotel mit prima Preis/Leistungsverhältnis und optimaler Ausstattung - Die Studio Suite war groß und hervorragend mit kleiner Küchenzeile (Elektroherd, Spülmaschine, Mikrowelle, Riesen Kühlschrank, Kaffeemaschine) ausgestattet. Das Personal war nett und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück typisch für 3-Sterne Hotels in den USA. Der Pool draußen neben Hotelgebäude hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Der Strip bzw. Las Vegas Blvd sind zwar fußläufig erreichbar, man muss allerdings eine Highway über eine Brücke überqueren, was ca. 20 Minuten Zeit in Anspruch nimmt und bei heißen Tagen mühsam ist, da in der Nähe keine ÖPNV verkehrt. Trotzt dieser kleinen Unannehmlichkeit ist das Hotel sehr zu empfehlen, da der Preis- und Leistungsverzeichnis für Las Vegas unschlagbar ist. Keine Bushaltestelle in der Nähe, die Klimaanlage laut, konnten wir aber für die Nacht ausschalten. Das Früstück konnte etwas umfangreiches sein.!
- DAVID (6/5): - The room was not clean when we arrived. Specifically, spots on the chairs and and a fairly large gooey red substance (ketchup? semi-dried juice? blood?) under the kitchen table. The carpeting had not been vacuumed. There was no remote for the television in the common area. The bedding was strange-- no blanket but a thin quilted cover that was to act as a blanket. The shower fan did not operate. The surface area around the pool had deteriorated into gravel which everyone dragged into the pool when getting in. There was no clock in the bedroom and a nightstand on only one side of one of the beds. The room was sparsely furnished (e.g., no upholstered chair in the bedroom space; we wiped the stains off of the small office chair). The breakfasts were mediocre and not up to normal Homewood Suites standards. Staff, however, were generally friendly and helpful. While quiet, the hotel's location across the interstate highway from the Strip made walking to any destination out of the question.

- elizabeth (1/5): Buyer Beware - The staff was very friendly and polite. The location was horrible.It looks like it's close, but it's actually across the freeway, and you can't walk across. You will need to Uber, which is expensive. Our room smelled like sewage, and there was nothing that the staff could do because all of the rooms were booked, so we were forced to stay in the room, smelling that awful smell. I mentioned this to the staff multiple times, and they just looked at me.Like there was nothing they could do besides hand me a bottle of febreze.. They also said that I could not be compensated because I used a third-party app to book my room.

- mycconghua (7/5): Very economical choice for a short stay - Very economical choice for a short stay. We got a nice suite with two beds at the same price as those single-room hotels on the strip. Free breakfast. We checked in later at night, and the reception was still open. Everything in the room and the hotel is a bit old. The air-conditioner is very noisy. Beds are not very comfortable. There is a highway cut between the hotel and the strip, walking there takes a while.
- VisitedNewPlaces (10/5): A fantastic property to stay off strip, with convenience, affordability, and care - This property is one of my 2 "Go To" places to stay in Las Vegas. There are many reasons. Price = Good for Vegas! Location = West side of I15. While it's off strip, the access to the strip is a brief walk or Uber. This makes for a quieter stay. Excellent access to I15. Walkable to Raiders Stadium. Front Desk = TOP MARKS. Latanya is a top notch associate, showing care, dedication, and cheer to her guests. Parking = Chargeable for hotel guests but extremely convenient to access from the hotel. Why I prefer this property = Convenience for driving anywhere and having a quieter spot to base myself when in town.
