Guest Reviews
- Guest (9/5): - מוניק מארחת למופת והמקום מטופח וממש נהדר.
- Blaney (9/5): -
- Leszkowicz (10/5): Modern version of 1800’s elegance - 10 Clarke is a beautiful home that was exquisitely decorated for the time period but with a modern vibe. Everything was very cozy and comforting from the decor, to the furniture and amenities. Upon arrival Monique will carry your bags to your room and you get to meet Cosette her little Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. There is cold flavored water or wine and cookies. Monique’s breakfasts are absolutely amazing. She takes great care in planning and execution. Her table settings take you back in time when fine dining was done with flair and formality. The food was just fantastic. There was a “starter” of a fresh fruit based smoothie, followed by a chocolate waffle with strawberries and cream and bacon on the side. But that’s not all! Next came a lovely egg and cheese frittata. She also has coffee, a varied tea selection and cold bottled water. She uses organic ingredients and single sourced products and she took great care to avoid allergies or food preferences. The rooms have been updated for comfort but with furnishings that take you back to a simpler time. There is WiFi but no television. Parking is on the street but plentiful and was not a problem at all. I would have preferred something to block the hallway light through the transom bedroom window. But it’s not a deal breaker.

- Mark (9/5): Super gorgeous old house on a beautiful and quiet street. Awesome staff. Breakfast was wonderful! - Very beautiful house. I was thoroughly impressed. Very cozy and charming. Staff is very friendly, super attentive and accommodating. The food was amazing! I loved everything about my stay except for my bed. Insanely over firm mattress. It almost doesn't press in at all when you lie down. I hardly slept at all, but maybe the mattress is good for some people.
- William (9/5): An enjoyable overnight. - Great breakfast; congenial hostess; beautiful furnishings very tastefully furnished. Would have like bathroom ensuite but knew that when booking.

- Christine (10/5): Beautiful accommodations, the room and bed were so comfortable! The bathroom assigned to our room was also lovely - We loved 10 Clarke with all of its charm and beautiful decor! Monique, Christopher & Rachel were so warm and inviting! 5 stars! Loved everything about it!
- Peter (10/5): Exceptional -
- Maria (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gil (10/5): Delightful. Staff was exceptional. Monique was charming - Great location. Beautiful furnishings. Extremely clean Everything was perfect
- Sean (10/5): Close to the Historic Downtown, less that a five minute walk. Perfect. - Parking was a breeze, plenty of street spaces. Cozy atmosphere, with eclectic (maximalist?) décor but does not feel overwhelming or stuffy. It just feels familiar and comfortable. I stayed in the Ross Room, which was roomy, well appointed, with comfy bed and just beautiful. Breakfast was perfect, with wide selection of home cooked offerings. The dinning room setting could not have been more befitting of this Victorian setting. Chefs kiss. No TV, but that might be the whole point.
- Harry (8/5): Beautiful place but not for senior citizens. The steps were hard to navigate - The decor was exceptional Bathroom not attached to room
- Adale (10/5): Absolutely perfect. Can’t wait to return. - Everything! Amazing home and hostess!
- Victoria (6/5): Beautiful place, but disappointing stay. - The staff was wonderful. The breakfast was elegant. The decor and overall ambience were sumptuous! I was promised when reserving that my room would be a "deluxe queen with private bath" and TV. Instead my room was cramped, a bathroom was down the hall and access to the TV took two hours to figure out.
- Patrick (10/5): Great nearby getaway - The relaxed ambience of the inn, the marvelous ( and LARGE) breakfast, and easily walkable distace to many dining options. Can't think of a thing
- Jennifer (10/5): Exceptional -
- Melanie (10/5): 5 Star B&B for nostalgia buffs. - we were late getting in due to flight delays but Christopher was in contact to track our progress and then greeted us with yummy cookies and red wine. the bed was heaven and breakfast 5 star!!! not a darn thing
- Jeffrey (10/5): Exceptional - gorgeous property, meticulously restored, best breakfast at a B&B by far!
- Laura (8/5): Frederick is a beautiful little city and the B and B added to good experience. - The breakfast was outstanding. The chocolate waffles were great. For some reason, we were unable to turn off the music at night. The switch in the front living room was turned all the way one way and then the other way and it still did not turn off. We could hear it all night in our room.
- Margot (10/5): Cute, eclectic Inn with exception breakfast - A quaint and lovely old house with lots of charme. The breakfast was the bomb - local ingredients, freshly prepared, and well paced.
10 mins walk from down town - ideal location.
- Katherine (10/5): Very hospitable and nice place to enjoy Frederick. Easy parking and friendly. - Amazing breakfast and cozy fire. The heat in the room was set too high with a thermostat that was outside the room. My only feedback would be to share w guests how to modify the temp if uncomfortable overnight.
- Marianne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jacob (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Katherine (10/5): 10 Clarke was perfect and I hope I have the chance to return before too long! - I loved everything about 10 Clarke! From Monique making sure I arrived safely in the midst of a hurricane to her helping me get my luggage packed in my car for the next leg of my journey, I would highly recommend a stay. Monique, thank you for taking such good care of me!! There’s nothing not to like.
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional -
