Guest Reviews
- Mary (10/5): - Excellent property and great location walking distance to village
- Tetyana (10/5): - Nice small place with walking distance to gondola
- James (4/5): - If you like filthy carpets and rugs and sharing your vacation rental with mice & ants and poorly cleaned maintained utensils/appliances, this is the place for you.
The 1st night at the property, the wife spotted a mouse. It was too late to contact maintenence to deal with the situation, but it was not too late to have a freaked out wife for the rest of the trip.
I also then noted multiple big black ants always in the bathroom.
I then noticed a hole in the wall the size of a golf ball behind the toilet where the ants and mice were entering into the unit.
While getting ready to make coffee the next morning, I decided to look in the back of the coffee maker before adding the water. The coffee maker water reservoir had dozens of lemon seeds in it and was lined with a think brown scum.
I purchased mouse traps the following morning and notified the property manager of the mouse, ants, and coffee maker issues.
They responded to replace the coffee maker and put spray foam to fill the hole in wall, but said that the mouse & ants are part of the "wildlife" abundant in Mammoth and was likely a result of a door being left open.
I saw the mouse myself the next day coming from the bathroom before getting caught in the trap which I purchased and set.
I'm sorry, mice & ants aren't "wildlife". They are a result of lack of care and cleanliness (the disgusting coffee maker is more evidence of lack of attention to cleaning).
For the price paid, we expected a pest free clean place...nope!
- Anna (8/5): - I thought this condo should have included some coffee and tea. When we checked in there was only 2 little bags of coffee. We had to go to CVS to get some coffee and tea for a few days It is a clean condo.
- Sarah (10/5): - Our stay was awesome! The unit was clean and maintenance responded very quickly to fix our shower!! The only things we noticed is the futon couch in the living room is not comfortable to relax after a long day hiking and the tv in the bedroom is old so you can't watch any platforms like Netflix in there. Bring your own knives for preparing food, the ones here are dull. Parking is very limited and if the other tenants are not respectful you are not able to park by your unit.
I would stay here again! Easy to get to and centrally located.
- Kevin (8/5): - Nice place
- Adam (4/5): Dirty, inaccurate listing - Mold/grime was all over the shower stall and spiders in the bathroom. We had nothing to sleep under other than a top sheet. When we called to ask where the blankets were located we were told that there were notes and explanations on the tablet. However, there was NO tablet or any mention that we wouldn't be provided blankets in any of our emails from the property or the binder on the dining room table. The only mention of COVID changes had to do with the dishwasher. The room was very cold and uncomfortable - there were extremely dated wall heaters that we were afraid our toddler would hurt himself on. While blankets are not being provided, I would suggest removing the "Family-Friendly" listing since the heating units are very dated and would entice any child. Overall would not recommend primarily because the bathroom wasn't clean, but overall we found the property very uncomfortable.
- AlexK (10/5): - Convenient location to get to Canyon Lodge. Everything worked! Especially pleasing was the wine in front of fireplace in the evening.
- julie (8/5): Location =10 but not everything else - Great location- bed was squeaky - screen door had holes and wouldn't easily slide
- Neely (8/5): - Overall I was very comfortable at the villas. The fact that I had to dump the trash, place dishes in the dishwasher and wash them had me surprised. But when I called asking for an extra travel shampoo/conditioner to use, I was told rather rudely that "we only supply a starter set for guests. If you need more, it will cost $35."
- Rose Marie (8/5): - Stay was great, only thing I was unhappy about was that we had to wait 35 minutes between showering to have hot water available
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The location of this property is amazing! It is walking distance to Canyon lodge, where you are also provided free public transit to any of the other lodges or areas of the mountain. Myself and my boyfriend stayed in unit #34 (although it can hold up to 4 people). It was cozy, cute and the perfect getaway we needed. The property management company was really friendly and checking in was seamless. They simply gave us our instructions and we were set to go without physically needing to check in at any front desk. Would definitely stay here again if coming with a small group.
- cynthia (8/5): Walking distance to village - cozy cabin! - Everything was amazing! Doesn’t get very warm in the unit but there are blankets and portable heater. Property management was extremely courteous!
- Divya (10/5): - Great place to stay with wonderful amenities.
