• Jia Yu (8/5): Overall experience, location all good. Just the breakfast was kinda disappointing. Maybe just let us order set meals for - Spacious clean and private. The breakfast. Toaster not working. Varieties can be improved. Taste of food too. We were told to select the time slot for breakfast, but when it’s our time slot there’s not much food left. Porridge with no condiments. We ended up not eating much and totally gave up for day 2. We ordered grab food instead.

• Wei Keat (8/5): awesome! - The location is great. easily reachable from ferry terminal via grab taxi we booked a room with the small private pool/jacuzzi the pool water is clean and we are comfortable dipping in which is great on a sunny day! while it was a private pool, you could actually see your neighhbours' and vice versa and people on the public walkway could looked in as well. it would have been nice if there was more coverage to make it truly private.

• Hamzah (9/5): Lovely place. - Peaceful atmosphere. The staff was amazing as well. There's no shelter by the poolside so if it's hot out, there's no where to chill at except the room. Also, the WiFi is really bad.

• Naziah (6/5): Reception staff not too friendly - The place was convenient. Different and unique villa. Nice room The room was very small, toilet was too big. We even found a cockroach on our first night there..there's alot of mosquitoes. The swimming pool water was too cold so end up my kids didn't use the pool. During our check out the staff said we broke their TV remote but we told them it was already like that when we checked in and we have been using it to watch TV shows. Staff said we should have informed them. But we didn't find a need to as the Remote was working fine. They wanted to charge us for that but we told them that this is not by us as it was already like that. And they understood. Hope the staff can be more vigilant and don't be quick to blame the tourist to make extra money out of our deposit.

• Kavitha (10/5): Cozy & Pleasant Stay, Staff all so good. - The property provides a peaceful calming environment. Its location its also strategy whereby surrounded by Santorini, pasar malam, pasar tani and etc. Upon arrival, we were greeted welcomely by the security Pak Nas and the guest service officer Ehsan sorry did not capture the name correctly. And the guest service officer knew my name before I mentioned my name. The security guard assist our suitcase to our room as we need to pass by a small lake. Since we arrived late to property, so we decided to have dinner at the restaurant whereby we are warmly welcome by the locals, its so heart-warming. All the staff that served us during our stay from the kitchen and bar, from the reception, security guard all make an excellent service. And thank you to the team for making my baby 1 year old birthday memorable by doing the decos in room and provide birthday cake. ❤️ We definitely will come back again and stay longer next time❤️ Maybe housekeeping team can be more care about the bedsheets linens. As upon arrival our bedsheet and duvet covers have alot of stains mark and also pillow case also dirty.

• Shaik (7/5): A good option to choose, if you decide not to put up at Montigo Resorts - Location of the development was good. The front staffs were polite. Ordering of Breakfast felt personalized. The room was equipped with an umbrella. The door to the swimming pool was firm and not flimsy As the room may be a connecting room, when required, thus noise from the neighbors do travel and may be disturbing. The idea of the development to be a chill concept is notable, however the music from the restaurant may not be a wise choice, which lasted till 11pm. (Mgmt to reconsider this decision)

• Muhd Rainizal (10/5): Nice villa and can be be better villa soon.. - Everything.. including the private pool in the studio room.. breakfast can be better for the price, privacy for the private pool can improve as next door can have a very slight view from 2nd floor to our private pool.. location is good too.. nearby to alot of street food, and activities places.. only main entrance need to change to flat cement wall so that luggage can be easy access without the need to carry.. Breakfast need to improve as the price is not cheap.. studio private pool, need to improve on the privacy, need add wall or wood so that left and right 2nd floor villa cannot see our 1st floor studio villa.. thats why it cal private pool so no one can see.. mosquitoes and lizards can be seen around the pool at night, so its best to buy baygon and spray around like i did and we have a peaceful night and swim too.. advice to cut the the small tree at the studio pool amd change to normal wall and floor so that lizards and mosquitoes can be much lesser at night..

Should have laundry service for guests. Be it external or internal. The towels needs to be changed as the age can be seen on the towels. Food selection was so-so but not much complain about that as we can always grab food.
• Fiona (6/5): Affordable a good experience in a villa - The staff were really friendly and assist us in our enquiries. The bed was too soft that it sink in a little that gave us back ache. The pool was a little dirty due to low maintenance, the shower area could have a coverage as the water was splashing out of the area. The bed might have some bed bugs or so as my partner and I was having rash. The room isn’t very cold too maybe because of the outdoor pool but that’s fine.

• SALLY (7/5): - The concept of the villa Overall Lack maintenance and upkeep. Noisy as the villa is next to a sports facility but ear plugs provided by the villa.
• Karim (6/5): Disappointed. - The rooms were clean, nice and spacious. The staff were very attentive. The massage package for guests was at a good price and it was superb. We had a great time pampering ourselves in the spa. 1) There were many hazards... The external property built on the lake and the lake water was algae laden and seems to be a possible mosquito breeding ground. As u walk on the wooden plateform above the stagnant water lake, children shld be held on tightly. There r no safety railings/barriers to prevent kids & adults to fall into the murky water. 2) The bathrooms in the rooms had no shower cubicles. There was a beautiful tub and additional shower spray to shower. As such, the entire bathroom gets wet all over. There were also no handles to hold on to to get in & out of the bathtub. It's not suitable for older people or kids.

• Muhammad Shaheed bin (6/5): Not coming back for sure! - Private pool Location, noise from the futsal court that affected my friend’s sleep, limited breakfast, the boardwalk is dangerous as it was slippery and there are insufficient markings to denote differences in the height so it was a hazard to walk at night. We also saw a water snake in the pond. Additionally there is no separate shower in the toilet. The fittings in the toilets were not well made. The wash basin is too shallow and water tends to splash out when the tap is on. My friend’s shower head was leaking at the joints and water was splashing everywhere when he was using it. Toiletries are of poor quality and honestly it is not worth the price we paid for. Even the linen quality is poor especially the face/hand towels. The linen sheds when placed against my black t shirt. The breakfast quality is also passable.

Downside was the villa was right by a tennis court of some sort and they were having a game and were noisy late at night as we were trying to sleep. That was only the first night and the next few nights was better.

The staff there were amazing, kind and welcoming. We tried the in-house spa which was really good, but the spa rooms weren’t sound proof so you can hear the music playing from the bar. Highly recommend the studio for more privacy and slightly bigger pool. The place was located close to a futsal court so it can get pretty noisy. Our villa came with a private pool, so we felt it disrupted the peacefulness the property would have provided. However, I think the rooms were sound proof, not much noise were observed when we closed the sliding doors. There were alot of mosquitos, saw this on other reviews too so we brought our own mosquito coil which helped a lot. They provided us with insect repellent lotions so that was thoughtful.

• Jiun (9/5): A nice villa holiday near Batam City Centre - I had a wonderful stay at Woda Villa during my recent trip to Batam. The location is very central, making it easy to get around and access nearby attractions, shopping, and dining spots. We could easily order Grab services to the malls where we spent most of our time eating, shopping and doing massage. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive—any request I had was responded to quickly and with a smile. The facilities were also very comfortable, providing a relaxing and peaceful environment to unwind. We booked a villa good for 5 pax, and together with the 1 extra bed, and we had our own private pool. Overall, a great experience and I’d definitely recommend Woda Villa for anyone looking for a convenient and pleasant stay in Batam. I feel that the toilet lacks privacy. The toilet wall in the bedroom was made of glass material and covered by blinds. Using frosted glass would be so much better. The breakfast options were quite limited, and the buffet on our last day was underwhelming. But given the hotel is close to the city centre, we had our meal mostly outside the resort, this was not too big a concern.

• Siti (8/5): Great! My whole family enjoy our short stay at Woda. - Its so unique and aesthetically pleasing. Walking distance to the 24hours shop and the funfair. Staffs were all so friendly! We booked the 2 bedroom villa & the wifi is not strong when you are in the bedroom. So it’s little hard to enjoy playing games on your mobile before bedtime.

I don’t like that the restaurant closes at 9pm and place looks dull and there’s no security even patrolling. Reception area is not air conditioned and no breakfast buffet ( didn’t state in booking ) we went to the first room which was dirty in the balcony and fence was broken, it was at the end of the river, too far. We requested to change rooms and they gave a much cleaner room. Food wasn’t that great for the price. And I was charged $500 for 3 days 2 night whereby when checked in the app for the days o stayed it was $73 per night. Ripoff. The whole vibe is off because the bricks is shaky and big people must walk with fear. And also they have stated they’re not responsible for any incident, when the bricks are shaky, no fence up while walking, feels giddy. No shelter if rain. Feels like I’m trapped. Security guard is just sitting and using his phone at the hut house, no constant patrolling to assure us. Not a lot of people is there. Water has fishes in it and fills with algae.

Saw our breakfasts going under the rain while the server was bringing it from the kitchen into the restaurant, as there is no full shelter from the kitchen to the restaurant. We did not feedback it on the spot, as it was not entirely their fault. Not welcome drink or refreshments at check in reception area.

Walkable to the Water Parks, Food Street, Amusement Part, Factory Outlets, and Restaurants. Also not too far from BCS Mall and the Zoo. Rooms need a little touch up as they have weathered the test of time... We booked a 2 bedroom unit, the in-unit pool was great. Room Service is also faster than many other places. One thing that didn't go so well was the check-out. This took a long process as the chamber staff had to do an inventory of all the items... a resort that is branding itself as a more upmarket venue shouldn't still be doing this... however, I understand considering what type of guests the resort attracts. Complimentary breakfast daily; a la carte from Mon to Wed and Buffet from Thu to Fri. Will surely return!

• Muhammad (7/5): Good experience - The place setup is nice. The bellmen are so efficient, friendly front desk staffs. Booked for 3 rooms, but can only ask for 1 prayer mat & 1 room extension for 30 mins. TV connection was very bad.
• Nur (8/5): great and definitely worth a return - love the diff type of rooms they offer! eventhought the breakfast spread wasnt much, it was actually enough and great. the kids love the private pool so much, kept swimming throughout the stay daily! its location is near the oasis waterpark, nearby cafe, alfa mart and great more places all walking distance there were two lizards in the room that kept cackling at night but its expected from a villa and being with nature. no mosquitos suprisingly bt the room came with anyi mosquito lotions and plug. the mirror could be clean more thoroughly as there was someone else's bread hairs stuck on it (previous visitor must have plucked and purposely stick it on the mirror)

• Abdul (10/5): A stay of fulfilment and relaxation with romantic atmosphere. Good for honeymooners!! - Quiet, very private place and cozy The pvt pool shud not face each other which is not facing neighbours’ pool.

• Thomas (9/5): Superb - The staff are beyond friendly and helpful. We enjoyed nearly every interaction. The pool was lovely and clean. A real gift.
• Yeo (2/5): 1 night stay - Check in is smooth and the staff was well fluent in her English. The room is clean and cozy. We book the room that comes with a shared swimming pool with other 5 rooms. But i hope the allocation of the room can be more attentive. I was given the room with the other 5 rooms whom were all friends or relatives. Me and my partner feels a bit uneasy. At least i was hoping to give us a room that will be shared with other 5 different customers. Piss off on the check out. All the while both me and my partner obey the rules by not smoking in the room. But the cleaner reflect to the counter that they smell cig smell upon open the door. I can understand why they are able to smell as we smoke at the balcony , we didn't close the sliding door so the smell might goes into the room. But i feel its to much to say by sniffing and argue that we smoke inside the room as there are no evidence showing cig butt or ashes all around the room. In the end, i still able to avoid been fine by them. But its a terrible experience.
