• Su Ching (10/5): Clean rooms, friendly staff. Great location. - Location is very good, and many eateries around. You can buy fruits from the nearby supermarket. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. They beamed proudly when introducing the local places of interest. We were given a stamp to get a discount when visiting the Lukang Folk Arts Museum. There's complimentary bottled water in the room, free coffee and tea with hot/cold water at the lobby, and some biscuits. Nothing I don't like.
• Su Ching (10/5): Very clean room, good location, friendly staff - I would definitely book it again if I stay in LuKang. Location is very convenient and near to places of interest (can get a discount stamp from the counter when visiting Lukang Folk Arts Museum). Near grocery store and eateries. Hotel staff are friendly. Rooms are very clean, I could walk around in the rooms barefooted because of how clean the floor was. Nearby resident's dog barks at night when people pass the house. But not the hotel's fault. Nothing they can do about it.

• Aymeric L. (7/5): Très correct, mais cash only - Chambre extrêmement moderne, elle m'a semblé très neuve et spacieuse, c'était agréable. La localisation est bonne et le staff disponible et efficace. C'est une bonne occasion de pratiquer votre chinois mandarin, car c'est plus pratique pour la réception. 房間非常現代，看起來很新也很寬敞，住得很舒服。地理位置不錯，工作人員也很有幫助、辦事效率高。這裡是練習普通話的好機會，因為櫃檯比較習慣用中文交流。 不過，不能用信用卡付款在2025年確實有點不方便，讓人難以理解為什麼無法使用。這對來自國外的旅客來說，意味著必須提現，還得支付額外的手續費。
• Meng Ying (8/5): 高性價比，附電梯及停車場，適合開車旅行入住! - 這次入住四人房，房型是半和式，大小偏小，但空間使用還可以接受，廁所乾濕分離，有電梯，一樓有提供飲水機及沖泡包和咖啡機。六樓有提供免費洗衣機。民宿有電梯，重點是有免費戶外停車場，平日價位算平價。 無。

• PEI CHIN (9/5): 雖然網站上寫有免費盥洗用具，但因應政策，要記得自備盥洗用具 。整體房間很乾淨整潔，位置也不錯，還有停車處，一樓有貼心附黑咖啡，但四人房動線有點不便，除此之外都很棒。 - 乾淨舒適 四人房的動線不太方便 冰箱跟電視、冷氣遙控器都在房間最裡面 但冷氣遙控在門口處 不方便拿取。插座很少 只有桌子旁跟廁所有 多人使用上稍嫌不足 但民宿房間內有附上多插座的延長線。

• Nuno (10/5): Nice friendly hotel - Very nice staff, and the room was larger than I expected with good facilities and comfortable bed. Easy to walk to several attractions in Lukang. Would definitely stay again. The hot water in the shower was boiling and difficult to regulate

• John (10/5): Great value hotel in a really interesting town. - Very friendly and conveniently located. Lukang is an absolute must visit for anyone interested in traditional Taiwanese life and this hotel is the perfect place to stay while you’re here. Highly recommended. No negatives at all.
• Wl (7/5): Less than I expected - The building is rather funny with few small windows, where there could have more and larger ones. We were used to rooms in Taiwan mentioning the existence or absence of of windows in a room, so we were a bit fooled by the photo’s that showed windows, mainly in bathrooms. Our room only had a windows in the bathroom. Since there was a glass wall between the room and the bathroom, there was at least daylight in our room, but not as much as and not in the way one would wish. The room was big enough though and we were welcomed by a young woman who spoke some English, but was clever enough to understand what we were trying to say and when she couldn’t figure it out was very proficient with her translation app. When she was not around it was harder to communicate with the staff. The reception hall is big but not very inviting to hang around, but if you need a chair and table it’s the only place to be. And tea and coffee are available for free. No breakfast options and it took us some time to find them in the vicinity. Lukang isn’t big, so you might say that any place is well positioned. The hotel isn’t the best option, but if you end up there it isn’t the end of the world.

• Eveline (8/5): Pleasant hotel. Enjoyable stay in Lukang. - Friendly staff. Comfortable room. Location is pretty convenient. Discount at the next-door culture museum. Don’t leave your umbrella outside. Mine was stolen. The staff kindly gave me another one, but it was more cumbersome. Other than that the area is safe and the hotel was nice!
• Paige (10/5): We loved the staff, location, facilities, and price of Happy Hotel. - The staff was so friendly and patient with us even though we do not speak Chinese. They helped us figure out the laundry facilities. They cleaned the room every day, and they allowed us to keep two of our suitcases there while we went on a 2-day trip to another city. If we return to Lukang, we will definitely stay at Happy Hotel! I have nothing negative to say.

Near to old city centre and eating places. Nothing. Price seems a bit high but many places in Lukang are expensive compared to rest of Taiwan.
