• Colbran (10/5): Truly a taste of paradise. - A beautiful private villa just a few minutes drive away from Ubud centre but so secluded and quiet. The villa is spacious and clean with a lovely tropical style bathroom. A small private pool and decent outdoor covered kitchen and dining area. Choose your breakfast the day before and it is brought to you at the time you request it. The staff are so friendly and polite but unobtrusive. Perfect for a relaxing stay.

They have variety in breakfast, everything is fresh and cooked to perfection. Property has a personal pool which is a highlight here. Huge rooms, large and spacious bathrooms. Area was absolutely neat , clean & spotless. Highly recommended. Bike rental , gym, car rental, pharmacies, hospital, many many shops are at a walking distance. I would come back 100% .

• Foster (9/5): Peaceful and Hospitable. - Sumaba runs amazing villas!! We had a wonderful stay due to Sumaba and his staff. They were so friendly and hospitable. The villas are not corporately run, and so the you get the personal care of Sumaba himself (the owner). The villas was clean, stylish, and beautiful. The location is awesome as well. Ubud can be loud and crowded, but this villa is just 1-2 minutes off the main streets, providing quiet and solitude, and at the same time staying in walkability to Ubud. We told him we were coming for our anniversary, so they prepared a special set up for us, provided us with a beautiful floating breakfast, and even gave us a delicious personalized cake. We received massages in the villa as well (2x). We loved our stay so much that after we checked out and went to Ubud for a day to do the beaches, we decided we wanted to go back home to Sumaba's. We contacted him directely, and he graciously allowed us to return until it was time for us to fly out. When we come back to Bali we would definitely return here! Thanks for all the care, attention, and hospitlaity!

Staff were very helpful & accommodating. Being 10 minutes out of town was a lot quieter & was easy to get transport in with a $1.50 scooter ride or $5 car AUD. Added benefits: amazing meridian massage/Accupuncture across the road (Nyoman). Great massage on the corner for only $12 AUD - 1hr. Easy to order food in via Gogeck if don't want to go out. We will definitely be staying here again. Thankyou. 🩵 Nothing. Some people might not want to be out of town. Great for us.

Large bed, whole dining space, large bathroom and private backyard and pool. The staff are gorgeous and kind, with daily cleaning. The location is quiet, about 20 mins out from Ubud central so an easy drive to the tourist hot spots, but also close by to many local delicious restaurants, cafes and some shops. Best of both worlds. Nothing!

We also really enjoyed having a small skylight above the shower area. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, always easy to reach via WhatsApp. The breakfast was quite good, with a few diverse options to choose from
• Mary (9/5): Lovely sanctuary in Ubud - A lovely, clean, private villa in a very nice area. There is a lovely walk through the rice fields nearby. Breakfast was fantastic. The hosts were extremely kind and thoughtful. There are some restaurants, shops and cafes nearby but not a huge selection. You will need a motorcycle or Grab to get into the centre or to some of the small villages nearby.

В 10 метрах отличное кафе для завтраков. Отсутствуют всякие нужности бытовые, но можно все попросить у владельца, он охотно делится. Вилла для путешествий, не для жилья.

El personal del alojamiento empezando por el propietario y demás personal es insuperable en amabilidad y dispuestos siempre a ayudar. • Gianluca (10/5): Very comfortable facility in excellent location - Excellent facility, very spacious, with large comfortable bed, fantastic private swimming pool. Very welcoming and helpful staff, excellent location outside the crowded downtown area but close to good restaurants (although you might need a scooter to go around). They welcomed us with a bathtub full of flowers and other various flower arrangements. The kitchen is fully functional and we could cook our dinner a couple of times. Big smart TV in case you are stuck inside during a rainy evening. Scooter rental is just next door. We also enjoyed silence and privacy. All perfect, just a few details that could be improved like sweeping under the bed to avoid accumulation of dust, the bin in the toilet needs a lid. The area around is quite rural, so if you want to avoid unwanted animals to go inside, you'll need to keep the door closed.

• Paul (6/5): Pleasant - The villa is quite large and and has potential to be amazing. Wasn't as clean as reviews suggested. Had issues with power, water and internet. Personally I feel the property is a little tired and in need of some minor TLC to restore it and maximise potential.
• Samuel (10/5): Beautiful quiet private villa - Beautiful private villa with a lovely pool and comfy bed. The staff were all very nice and helpful. Nice quiet location within an easy drive of Ubud Centre. Very clean and tidy and we had a lovely arrival with fresh flowers and rose petals. Slightly further away from things than we realised although there are still restaurants and cafes within a 10-15 minute walk (not central Ubud) which were high quality.

Villa was fully decorated when we arrived with lovely flowers with all the love. Quite and Calm but still easily accessible to ubud town center by shuttle or walk or grabtaxi. Loads of cafes and restaurants nearby. No in-house restaurant.

Everything was very clean and well maintained, the food was amazing and the staff were so incredibly helpful and kind. Sumaba was great and communicating and flexible. We had such a relaxing, enjoyable time here. Would definitely recommend! The villa is a little bit far from the town centre. This does mean it’s nice and quiet, but you do have to get a taxi in and out - more than easy enough to do though and isn’t more than a couple bucks.

• Chris (9/5): Highly recommend if you want a peaceful, spacious base in Ubud with excellent service and a personal touch. - We really enjoyed our stay at in Villa 2 at Paradise Villa in April. The villa was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. The private pool was a highlight—super clean and perfect for cooling off after a hot afternoon in Ubud. The garden was well cared for and added a peaceful, tropical feel to the whole place. The location was great for us. It’s about 10 minutes from central Ubud, but Grab taxis were easy and affordable (about $7 nz and usually arrived within 5 minutes). It was actually a bonus to be away from the busy centre—returning to the quiet villa after a day in town felt like a retreat. Sumaba and his team were outstanding. They helped us get settled by taking us into town on the first day, arranged laundry, and tried to get us a last-minute massage (we just didn’t book early enough!). They also helped organise a driver for a day trip, which we loved. Communication was excellent throughout—they were responsive and kind, especially over WhatsApp. Breakfast was lovely, and everything the team arranged for us was well priced and convenient. We had no issues during our stay and left feeling relaxed and very well looked after. No complaints
• Dylan (10/5): Quiet, cosy, beautiful room, - The villa was superb. The bed was very comfortable and the interior was excellent with a high roof and a nice bathtub and shower. We didn't use the tv much. The garden was beautiful and well maintained, the location was peaceful and quiet, and the little pool was a perfect place to relax—though its design could be improved a bit, as we often bumped our knees on the oversized step. Still, everything was spotlessly clean, which we really appreciated. There were a few ants and bugs, but that's to be expected in Ubud and didn’t bother us. The staff were lovely—very accommodating and friendly—and the breakfast each morning was fresh, delicious, and generous. Shops and convenience stores were all within easy walking distance. We also booked a massage at the villa—while it was a little pricey by Ubud standards, it was still enjoyable. To our surprise, we were upgraded to a larger villa, which we were very grateful for! The privacy was great, although one staff member did enter without knocking once, which felt a bit intrusive. Otherwise, service was excellent. We stayed during Nyepi (the Balinese "Day of Silence"), which we hadn’t known about beforehand—when everyone is required to stay indoors. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise, as we spent the whole day lounging by the pool, soaking up the serenity. Overall, it was an exceptional experience and one of the highlights of our trip. I definitely recommend paying a little more for the larger villa—it's worth it for an unforgettable stay. Some bugs here and there inside and outside the villa, but nothing to worry about. A little far to walk from the main hub of Ubud, but a short drive away. The toilet seat was also broken on arrival

• Arvid (10/5): Amazing modern villa to escape the hustle - The villa was very modern, well equipped and beautifully built, creating a cozy private space around the inner yard and pool. The staff was very friendly and helpful and even surprised us with quite some extra luxuries. Really wonderful! Trash burning and construction in the neighborhood can sometimes hamper the idyllic experience a bit (like everywhere in Bali). That is of course not the Villa's fault, though.
• Sachet (10/5): Exceptional - The villa was excellent, just like we had hoped for. We stayed in Villa no 2 and we enjoyed it a lot. There was a private swimming pool, though a bit small. There was also a dining area with a refrigerator, water kettle and water dispenser. The toilet was good and there was hot water. Our bed was comfortable. The villa isn't far away from Ubud Palace and attractions. We rented a scooter from the villa. Mr. Sumaba was very helpful throughout. There were a couple of lizards outside but nothing to worry about. They don't do anything if we mind our own business.

If you tell us the menu via WhatsApp every evening, breakfast will be prepared at the table facing the pool the next morning. It is nice to be able to enjoy swimming and relaxing in the private pool at any time. There are small restaurants, cafes, and gyms nearby, so you can use them conveniently. There is a convenience store about 5-10 minutes away from the main road. Unfortunately, the villa I stayed in did not have photos on booking.com. I was not dissatisfied with the facilities, but if possible, it would be better to post detailed photos of each room so that guests do not get confused.

• Jason (10/5): Perfect - Whether it’s your first, or tenth stay in Bali, Ubud Paradise Villa will be the perfect place for you. Sumaba and his team were super attentive, and addressed any and all concerns. The location is secure, quiet and in a beautiful part of Ubud — close to Campuhan Ridge Walk, and a few short steps from the villa you will find a lovely cafe and massage areas. Don’t forget to get the breakfast from Sumaba and team each morning as they have a fantastic variety (best pancakes I have ever had). They also provide laundry and car service, all very affordable. The villa itself is pristine clean, and excellently designed. The bed is comfortable, pool is warm and refreshing. The shower had great pressure and very rarely ran out of hot water. I do not have a single complaint to make about this accomodation, I originally booked 7 days, but extended my stay for 2 days over the weekend, as I enjoyed it so much. I feel very lucky that this was my first pick for a stay in Bali, and so will you! Absolutely everything was 10/10. Thank you Sumaba and team!!
• Natalia (10/5): Exceptional - My friend and I stayed at Ubud Paradise villa in January 2024. It was one of the best vacations I've ever had because of beautiful locations and staying. Ubud Paradise villa is located in the heart of Ubud close to markets, laundries, numerous shops and restaurants. We went there by foot! Rice fields, monkey forest, beautiful temples and other must see locations are just few kilometers away. The service is excellent with the staff always ready to help and respond to any requests. Cleaning is done thoroughly. The villa itself is clean, stylish and spacious. It has a kitchen, pool, lounge chairs, bathroom, and tropical shower. Breakfasts were divine and varied! Always fresh fruits and desserts. During our stay we felt attention and care of our host. He organized a short trip to the most beautiful places in Ubud, conducted the Melukat ceremony for us and provided airport transfer. I would like to express my deep gratitude to our host for the warm welcome and a really great care of us! If you're going to Ubud, choose this place!

• Elżbieta (10/5): Amazing stay, best in Bali - We loved everything, from the first expression and how the Villa was beautyifuly decorated with fresh flowers when we came, traditional yet modern design of the villa, comfy bed with two different kinds of pillows, delicioua breakfast, beautiful smell of cosmetics, very kind and helpful staff, it was just perfect. Also, the internet connection was really good, more than enough for work and conference calls, so you can definitely work from here. Terrace got pretty wet when it rained and the service person cleaned it in the evening, but a mop at the villa would be helpful.

• Hayley (10/5): 5 star service and amenities!! - This place absolutely exceeded our expectations!! It only is rated 3 stars online, but you really get the 5 star experience staying here. It made our trip absolutely heaven to be staying here. The staff have excellent customer service. Everyday they would come and clean the pool, bring us the most beautiful breakfasts, tidy our room, and answer any of our questions or requests for services. The owner even gave us a little parting gift when we left - so sweet! The villa itself is in the perfect location. Away from the madness and noise of Ubud markets. But plenty close to gym, walks, and heaps of restaurants. If you want to get to the markets and the busier end, it's only a $5.5 Grab ride away. It also has wifi and Netflix for the days where you might want to just do a bit more chilling. The local masseuse is also excellent - they can arrange for them to come and massage you in the room. We did this everyday and was amazing! The bed was also super comfy and the pancake breakfast is to die for! We would recommend this place to anyone who wants to be treated like royalty and have a patch of secluded paradise in the heart of Ubud. We will definitely stay here again! • Sheena (10/5): Beautiful little gem on the outskirts of Ubud - Thoughtfully designed private villas with plunge pools located down a semi-rural lane away from the bustle of central Ubud. Everything was seamless from my airport pickup to my transportation to my next location in Bali. Super host Sumaba is an Ubud local with many years experience in the hospitality industry and it shows, as hospitality was the standout feature of my stay. The included breakfasts were absolutely amazing and I was treated to some added Balinese specialties, making every morning a real feast. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom very spacious, the spring-fed pool was delicious at the end of a busy day and the small kitchen/eating area with tea/coffee-making facilities was a perfect place to start the day. There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance, and I recommend Balinese Home Cooking who will deliver via WhatsApp. The surrounding scenery is stunning and Sumaba and son Angga are happy to drive you to local attractions as a day trip, as well as drop you into Ubud (2 kms or about a 15minutes drive away). Overall a charming property and a wonderful experience. These aren’t dislikes as such, but be aware that the streets in rural Bali are very narrow and not well-maintained, and pavements can be difficult to navigate so it’s not that easy to get around and you’ may need to rely on transport into Ubud. As the property backs onto a banana plantation as well as several rice fields there will be some insects including ants, although I didn’t find it a particular problem during my stay.

The bathtub was filled with flowers decorated in the shape of a heart. There were flowers decorating the whole entire villa all over the owner is very meticulous and takes very good care of the property the two people that took care of us there brought us breakfast every day. • Darren (10/5): A very beautiful villa with Excellent service standards. - I am glad and very blessed to have chosen this accommodation to celebrate my anniversary. Everything was so good. The boss is a very nice and friendly person. There is also a shuttle service to the city. Breakfast was also really good. Loved the pancakes with a choice of mango, banana, strawberry and even dragon fruit fillings. The other items on the breakfast menu were also presented with good quality standards. The villa was very clean and the ambience was really nice and romantic for us. We were sad that we had to leave the villa to go home. We will come back to this villa again in our next visit to Bali. Don't hesitate to book it. You will not regret it.

A joy to stay and enjoy the splendid swimmingpool. A choice of good breakfast to start your day. And when you want a daytour, book the driver from the villa's, pak Koman. Real nice guy who can tell you a lot of information regarding Bali. It's like driving around with a friend. Stay was to short😔
• Kiriarna (6/5): Would be nice for a couple, not very family friendly - Quiet location, large room. Air con worked well Pool was too cold so my child didn’t want to swim, dining table and chairs were hard and uncomfortable to sit at, not enough kitchen supplies (cutlery, dishes, pots and pans) Breakfast service was very inconsistent. We only got full breakfast for 3 people on the first morning, the amount and variety of breakfast items served differed every other day. Not enough for 2 adults and one child. The shower pressure was non existent, the water dribbled out. Felt like we got the dud villa, was not the same as the pictures advertised. FYI don’t stay in villa 2. We probably would have enjoyed this much more if we didn’t have a child with us.

But within a few minutes with the scooter you reach anything. Even without scooter you will find restaurants, supermarkets, gym, etc. You can always contact the owner and they will be happy to help you if you need anything. The villa is fantastic. You have everything you need and a great pool. Would book any time again. Recommended.

Communication with our host was great and prompt. We loved everything about it. The comfy bed, the huge bathroom, the beautiful swimming pool, the romantic decoration when we arrived... The glass doors all over give an additional charm as you can look out while in bed and see coconut trees and a lot of green. Breakfast was served timely as we chose and it was tasty. Bottles of water were provided every day. Everything was very clean. I'm terrified of some insects and was expecting to see a few due to the weather and location, but luckily I didn't see any. I would love to return one day. Internet was a bit weak sometimes, but this was not a big problem for us

• April (5/5): Passable - Initially the villa is well presented, the staff are accommodating and friendly. The breakfast is substantial. The vila owner has over promised and under delivered on this booking service. The property contains only your villa. Ticking the spa, gym, bar and suggesting rice field views is not an honest overview. The construction of a villa not only takes away what may have been communal views once upon a time! The 7:30am start doesn’t allow for a sleep in. They isn’t a microwave, toaster or hairdryer so theses shouldn’t be checked. We felt the bare minimum was provided with no milk, a couple of tissues, etc. quite different from the other villa’s we have stayed in on this trip. The breakfast was excellent but having very unwell staff making it is quite off putting. Other visitors reviews suggested accommodation transport to the main area this certainly wasn’t our experience. Having to wait over half an hour for the owner to arrive for payment wasn’t great and they should trust their own staff. We also didn’t get a response from contacting the owner on WhatsApp. Everyone’s experience maybe different but this was ours.
