Gary (10/5): - What a great place. Worth the effort to get there. Only a few minutes from Pine Valley.
Ellen (4/5): - I was really disappointed with my visit. The lake had dead rats floating in it, and the whole area smelled like sewage. The water was dirty and clearly hasn’t been drained or refreshed in a long time, which made it a breeding ground for bugs. It was unpleasant to be around, and it completely ruined the experience. This place needs some serious maintenance and care before it can be enjoyable.

Our bed was pretty squeaky which kept waking us up but it was still a pleasant stay in the woods.We enjoyed the kitchen facilities and caught a couple of good movies from Netflix on our stay. Overall we would return to stay here another time!

Communication was great, they worked with our very late arrival and were very easygoing. I would absolutely recommend staying here, you will not regret it.

Shauna (10/5): Fun Place for a Family Vacation - The Holmstead Ranch is such a fun place to stay. We’ve been there twice and have stayed in a Lakeside cabin and a Cottage cabin. Both were really fun, but we preferred the Lakeside cabin for location and layout, finishes. The amenities are really fun. They have pickleball and a sand volleyball court that we used. It’s also fun to walk around the lake and use the fire pits. The only thing I didn’t like was the futon beds in both cabins were too uncomfortable.

It’s a perfect place for families with kids. We appreciate all the fine details! What a well thought out place! The kids activities outdoors. Only think that can improve is comfort on sleeper sofa.

Our cabin was in excellent condition and we really liked the granite counter tops and kitchen with silverware provided. The grounds were very well taken care of and the volleyball and pickleball courts were great. We will definitely stay here again.

Tyler (10/5): Great for Family and Weddings. Cutest Cabins. - This is by far one of my favorite hotels I have stayed in too date in Utah. It is about 30 minutes outside of St. George, and beautiful. My kids absolutely loved seeing all the animals, and the cabins were adorable. The host working the desk could not have been kinder as well. 10/10, my only recommendation to future travelers is to bring plenty of food. They have a fridge, a stove, and an oven. There isn't any grocery stores in the immediate area. Will absolutely be back, and may book our wedding here.

ivy (10/5): So Much Fun! - I saw pictures from a facebook post, the second I saw them I already fell in love..With the pandemic going on, I wanted to go here for my 40th bday. It was just supposed to be me and my family, but 2 other family/friends decided to come and It made the trip well worth it!!! We all had different type rooms, I had the luxury loft, I absolutely loved it, spacious, clean, and kitchen had everything we needed. My Niece and Friend had the glamping rooms and those were perfect and just the cutest things ever! I called them tree houses ;) those rooms even had a microwave and mini fridge. Another friend had the cabin lakeside, which was gorgeous! very spacious, kitchen equiped, and being in front of the Lake was Very Relaxing! We come from a very busy city, state, Las vegas, NV and going here was a Perfect getaway! we had Lots to do to keep all kids entertained, farm animals, paintall, archery, bbq, kayak, paddleboard, basketball, playground park, horseshoe and corn hole, Star gazing, and fishing! I had a great 40th bday and we are already planning our next trips out here! I am even considering renewing my wedding vows here, it's that gorgeous!! The staff was amazing, very helpful and friendly! I can sure say that we will be back here as this was SO MUCH FUN! and the memories made we will cherish forever..
