Our Unit was particularly comfortable. We couldn’t find any bbq tongs or tissues in our Unit. The stairs to level 3 were challenging with our cases.

I ended up on the phone with booking dot com for over an hour who told us palms had cancelled our booking with no notification ( they had taken payment ) then BDC sorted alternative accommodation out for us - very distressing It was poorly lit - no obvious place on where to park the car. No one on site at 6pm

I did find it at my time of travel, seemed a bit more family friendly, rather than suited to couples or solo travelers….which was fine- but if you are a couple or a solo person travelling looking for a bit of quiet time, may be hard to find in communal areas, such as the pool…. All ammenities within my 10 day stay worked well within the apartment- apart from the dual washer/dryer…. Washing machine worked well- but the dryer part- no…. Had to use the outside clothes line for most things- and if you have multiple activities booked day after day during the end of the wet season (March) that wasn’t ideal… most things were not dry, due to the humidity hanging things outside…

Atmosphere was very quiet and serene and therapeutic!!!! really relaxing and very beautiful plants all around... Rooms were clean. Service was amazing, We reached early, Anna made it available as early as possible for us, Staff also was very accommodating. Staff went out of way for early check in for us and make room available for us.

- Gobi (8/5): Great place to stay for a few nights in Cairns! - We were in cairns for 3 nights and this apartment was perfect for our stay. We stayed here during the rainy season in cairns so we were really unlucky with the weather as it rained non stop whilst we were there. That being said, the beach is close by and the beach hut serves great coffee which I’d fully recommend. Although we didn’t meet the hosts face to face, the comms were great on the booking.com chat. We personally liked this but this property is quite far out from the main city centre area in Cairns. If you’re looking to be close to that area, I would be mindful of booking this property if you’re on a budget as taxis cost approx £15 - £20 one way

- Donnah (9/5): Lush little tropical, private and romantic oasis... ❣️ - The lush surrounds with tropical plants and wooden deck paths were lovely. It has an upscale resort atmosphere. Everything is on a small intimate scale with minimal apartments, which makes it feel exclusive. We hardly shared the pool with others it almost felt like we were there alone. The facilities included a small electric bbq. Undercover outdoor dining and lounge style seating which was comfortable and relaxing, the option to have a fan on was available for those who feel the heat. After the flight from hell and arriving at midnight the bed was super comfy. Both the aircon and ceiling fan had remote controls. Check in easy and hassle free. The apartments are pleasantly refurbished but still feel aged. However, it was functional and adequate, a small sacrifice for the price. A minor irritation was the layout of the living area. The dining table was in the way of the TV. Moving the table over wasn't a problem it was small and lightweight. At night the signage was really hard to see and going from the front of the property to the rear carpark was a bit confusing. Not difficult to figure out but when you're tired and cranky it was a little tricky. But one after hours phone call was great. Staff stayed on the line and directed me while I drove. He was really pleasant and happy to assist.

Lots of little areas, yoga space, large table/bbq area. Walking distance to main beach front, supermarket 200m down the road, open until 9 pm. Public bus outside complex, to and from cairns city, every 30 mins or so. Little touches like cold water in fridge on arrival, mosquito repellant available in BBQ area. Nice shampoo and conditioner. Pool towels in room ready.

Easy to find and a real tropical delight. Our room was great and even our deck area to the front of the property was private and quiet. Rooms were clean and bathroom was spacious. Everything was clean and it had off street parking. The cost of the room was excellent compared to other properties. We just found it calm and relaxing. The pool was nice to drop into when it was too hot. It was so good we have booked again for May 2026.

WI FI had some issues probably due to storms..would reccomend the couch to be steamed cleaned or replaced. Pretty grubby. I put towels over to sit on.. same with balcony left a bit grubby. Busy time of the year though.
- andreavF3426SD (4/5): Very disappointing compared to other apartments we stayed in whilst visiting Queensland. - Palm Cove is idyllic. The Palms is not. Poor communication meant despite texting back and leaving a voice message, we didn’t know which room we were in when we arrived or key safe PIN and no-one on site to assist. I specifically asked for a quiet room due to my daughter’s medical condition and we found ourselves in the ground floor apartment, at the front of the building, on the main road in or out of Palm Cove, with no privacy as the footpath runs along the side of the apartment and the main road is at the front. When I explained about my request, I was told there may be a room available in another part of the building the following day but we, fortunately, had only booked for 2 nights so it wasn’t worth the hassle. Living room sofas looked a bit grubby and we just stayed out of the apartment as much as possible.

Locatie goed in Palm Cove. Alles op loopafstand. Strand, rrstaurants, pub.. De mensen die het appartement schoonmaakten waren heel vriendelijk. Parkeerplaats aan de achterzijde mooi ruim. Geen enkel direct contact met de eigenaar. Is misschien ook niet nodig. Maar je even op weg helpen, alleen al het vinden van de parkeerplaats.... dat had ik wwl fijner gevonden. Maar was zeker niet onoverkomelijk.

- Kate (8/5): The pool and tropical feel was beautiful, and hosts very friendly and helpful - We loved the tropical green trees all around which made it like a little private oasis, the pool was beautiful and sunbeds very nice, very stylish outdoor areas 😊 The only thing we would have preferred is more living space in the apartment. There were 4 of us, but only one small couch, and only 3 chairs at the kitchen table. We just moved chairs from the balcony inside when we needed to all sit together, but the apartment was 2 double bedrooms so should be enough seating for 4.

- Kneisa (10/5): - Great atmosphere, great size apartment and lovely gardens and pool. It’s like a tropical oasis! Was such a lovely stay, although when people stayed with children was a bit small for the kids and adults in the pool so we avoided it when kids were in the pool. Would be perfect if was adults only place, such a lovely atmosphere and so relaxing overall, but kids noise not great on our last two days.

- Sylvia (8/5): Agréable et calme dans cette belle station balnéaire - Le confort de l’appartement La tranquillité des lieux zen Nous avons eu un manque de gaz pour la cuisinière … après avoir envoyé un message WhatsApp, Trent est passé Environ 1 h plus tard changer la bonbonne et nous avons pu cuisiner ! Le jardin est tropical et joli mais il aurait besoin de se faire entretenir … il manque d’attention … c’est dommage car le lieu est très beau!
- János (7/5): - Szuper elhelyezkedés, nagyon kedves személyzet a takarításnál. A medence és a kert szuper, igazi dzsungel hangulat. A wifi a 4 nap alatt egyszer sem működött, pontosabban a medencében néha igen. Írtunk a tulajdonosnak, de 4 nap alatt sem sikerült válaszolnia. Egy nyaralásnál persze a wifi a legkevesebb, de mi 1 hónapos utazáson voltunk, így munka miatt szükség volt rá. Külön vicces, hogy szupergyors wifi az erősségük! :)

- jamiekY1180LS (10/5): Serene, comfortable, pretty place - Lovely little place tucked away from the busy tourist area at Palm Cove Beach, but a short walk to it. Quiet (we had an apartment facing into the courtyard/pool area on the second floor), well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, nice artwork. Beautiful tropical landscaping. Responsive management. Would definitely recommend.

- Sebastian (9/5): Very nice Bali-Like Place! - Bali Style in the middle of Palm Cove. Nice Pool and Appartement is big. Just a few minutes Walk from the Esplanade. All clean except the floor could need some wer sweaping.

- Oiglejoy (10/5): Four nights in Palm Cove in Balinese style apartment with private pool entry. - Enjoyed 4 nights at The Palms at Palm Cove in October 2025. The gorgeous Balinese-inspired group of apartments is a 5 min walk from the beachfront restaurants and shops of Palm Cove. Apartments also have fully equipped kitchens for cooking and eating in. Only thing missing was a box of tissues, easily rectified by a quick visit to nearby supermarket.
