- Andreas Nitsche (8/5): Pension Pfeiferhaus - tolle Lage, nette Witsleute! - Tolle ruhige Lage am Waldrand, nette Wirtsleute die versuchen, aus einem alten Haus eine moderne Pension zu machen. Vieles ist gut gelungen, wir kommen mal wieder. Die Preise für Frühstück und Abendessen waren in meinen Augen zu hoch.
- Anssi (9/5): - Tunnelmallinen majatalo keskellä Ylä-Frankenin metsiä, nimestä päätellen vanha pappila. Sopii luonnonystäville ja autollisille. Kaunista lehtimetsää, paljon polkuja. Huoneen terassilta saattoi katsella tammenterhojen kimpussa ahertavia närhiä. Lähin kylä on Warmensteinach, joka on kävelyetäisyydellä, mutta siellä ei ollut aamulla mikään paikka auki. Hyvin ystävällinen vanhempi pariskunta pitää paikkaa, omat parkkipaikat ja myös koiramme oli tervetullut. Ainoa heikkous paikassa on sen löytäminen pimeällä. Navigaattori vie lähimmän isomman tien laitaan, josta pitäisi kävellä metsän läpi talolle. Autolla saavuttaessa täytyy siis kääntyä ennen tätä navigaattorin merkitsemää paikkaa hiekkatielle oikealle - siellä on kaksi kylttiäkin, mutta niitä ei välttämättä pimeällä huomaa. Majatalo tekisi hyvin jos laittaisi myös aivan talon eteen kyltin, jotta tulijan ei tarvitsisi arvailla oikean talon ja naapuritalon välillä.

- Christine (7/5): - Es war sehr schön das sie außerhalb der Essenszeit trotzdem noch etwas zubereitet wurde. Auch waren sie sehr aufmerksam was das Frühstück anbelangt ( zusätzliche Brötchen etc) Die Zufahrt war sehr schwer zu finden. Die Ausstattung im Eimzelzimmer hätte besser sein können. Sehr spartanisch.
- Christian (8/5): - Die Niederländer sind - wie erwartet - sehr zuvorkommend und umgänglich. Die Stadt Bayreuth sollte sich schämen die Zufahr nicht ordentlich zu unterhalten. Gewaltige Schlaglöcher bei der Zufahrt. Aber dafür können die Niederländer ja nix. Deutschland 2025!

- Gergely (7/5): Good - if you want to stay for a few days and hike, it's probably a great option; the guy at reception was very nice and helpful; extremely good wifi connection in the middle of nowhere; great surroundings, nice terrace cleanliness is not too bad, but could be better; it's quite difficult to find, if you miss the single badly placed sign, you can drive around in circles

But the owners were exceptionally hospitable, friendly, helpful with a good sence of humour If a guest arrive anytime after 1900 hour due to traffic, delay or flight cancellation, access will be denied as no one will answer phone anymore. Strongly disagree with swimming pool availability as advertise

- Liubov (10/5): Exceptional - I recently had the pleasure of staying at Waldhotel Pfeiferhaus in Warmensteinach, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. The personal attention and care they provided were second to none. Their genuine hospitality made me feel right at home. The breathtaking beauty of the surroundings, particularly the Burgruine Wurzstein just a minute away from the hotel, was awe-inspiring.

- LT (4/5): - Beautiful forest surrounding the hotel. The facilities are adequate but dated. Found out only at checkout that I could only pay cash. I had to drive to a nearby town to an ATM. If I had been in a rush to get somewhere it would have been even more disappointing. Food was good.
