• Annie (10/5): A beautiful property - What an exceptional property this is on the main street of Corowa, managed by the wonderful Nelci. The decor is designer led and unique. Our ground-floor room was large, with a huge bathroom and its large bath, (plus a modern shower). There are only a few rooms and it felt like we were house guests. Nelci welcomed us with a drink, and provided helpful information on where we could eat out in the evening. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. The breakfast, served in the shared lounge area was simple (orange juice, fruit granola and a selection of bread/pastries), but beautifully presented and excellent coffee. It would have been easy to stay longer. Nothing - although we found that the dining options in the town were limited on a Tuesday night.

• Lyn (8/5): Large room with limited breakfast only - Exceptionally clean, Nellie was lovely host and managed to get us a booking at a popular restaurant at short notice. Decor is lovely. Large bed and bath tub. We stayed in North suite. It advertises as one bed one living room but is not a separate room- the couch and armchair are in front of the bed. Breakfast service was very slow for only five guests in residence. One person finally asked for toast to go. For $495 per night, breakfast options were too limited. No hot breakfast. Breakfast is served to table. We stayed for two nights. Fresh juice only served once. Option of small glass of granola and yoghurt or fresh fruit plate followed by toast plate. Second morning we had a single slice of toast with avocado and smoked salmon but there was not enough for the other three guests. A self serve option for the fruit, yoghurt and cereal would be better and quicker. Also, despite advertising as no children there was a baby in the room next door that cried during the night. It did not disturb us much but could have done if it had not settled.

• Canberra_John (10/5): A grand place to stay, with everything we needed. - The place has a unique style, retaining the 1930s art deco feel throughout but having modern and bright feel. Our room was large and spacious, as was the bathroom. The room looked exactly like the photos. The owner John and his team made us feel very welcome, and the service was exceptional. We had a tour of the other rooms and suites, and have picked the one for our next stay.

We loved the room and the very comfy bed. The hotel is right in the centre of Corowa and provides its own parking area for visitors. The breakfast was great. Staying here made our Corowa stay an extremely enjoyable one.

• John (10/5): Arguably the Finest Hotel in the Corowa / Yarrawonga / Rutherglen region - Beautiful fit out. Amazing attention to detail. Every room is unique. Pure luxury. So many interesting and exciting details all around the property. Beds are very comfortable. Very clean and presented to a very high standard. Run by a husband and wife team that really care about their guests and do everything to make your stay special. They provide a level of care that is not matched by other hotels in the area. Do yourself a favour.

Spacious facilities, comfy lounge/bar area. Very welcoming and helpful host. 10/10 in every aspect. Absolutely nothing to fault; it was exceptional.

• Tony (10/5): Exceeded all expectations. - From the moment we arrived to the time we left, we were made to feel very welcome and very at ease with the stay. Our room was upgraded which was a lovely surprise the main upstairs room certainly didn't disappoint! Bed was super comfy, rainfall shower head, huge bath, welcome drinks & nightcap aperitifs....wonderful! Not their fault, but council collects the bottles early Wed mornings which was a bit of a rude shock, but we soon fell back to sleep.

The hosts were lovely and accommodating with great local knowledge which assists in your visit. The property is opulent and chic with it's decor. The attention to details like fresh roses in bud vases, the evening night cap and even the face mask and bath bombs took this stay to the next level. Nothing everything was amazing.

• Damian (10/5): Exceptional - The place is immaculate. Well furnished and a lovely art deco feel, not over the top. The rooms are large and well appointed and comfortable. Owners take real pride in their hotel and are there to help. (No passcodes to get into the property yourself and bad luck if something is needed!) They are there at check in and breakfast. Very attentive. Bonus was a welcome drink with local gin and an excellent coffee in the morning. They even phoned me 30 min after checking out as I left something behind.

• Alexandra (10/5): A beautiful, historic, classy and romantic location for a getaway - A beautiful boutique experience in the heart of the Rutherglen region. The staff were amazing and we even discovered a shared heritage with the manager. Every decor touch is thoughtfully placed, and the spaces feel luxurious yet inviting. We had issues with the hot water in one room and were upgraded to a better room without questions - a stunning romantic experience which we are sure to revisit again and again. The included breakfast is delicious, and the cocktails were very, very tasty! Nothing - everything was spectacular!
• Robin (9/5): Delightfully welcoming, luxurious art deco hotel, a real find in a charming town. - A truly wonderful sanctuary in rural NSW, beautiful Art Deco conversion of 1930s bank building to a comfortable and quirky hotel with huge rooms, big baths, and a most welcoming manager/couple. Carefully presented breakfast of fresh fruits etc caps off a lovely stay. Couldn't recommend more highly. No complaints at all.

This charming boutique hotel has been carefully renovated and thoughtfully furnished in the Art Deco style. The welcome drink ,complimentary minibar and nightcap of muscat were a nice treat.We stayed in the South suite which included a bath . Each item on the continental breakfast menu was of a high quality. Other than the absence of a full length mirror in the South suite, the attention to detail to ensure a comfortable stay was impeccable.

Jen was very welcoming on arrival, giving us a beer and a cup of tea, and steering us in the direction of the best places for a casual dinner. The room was wonderful, Corowa itself is a very picturesque spot on the Murray, would recommend to anyone passing through that way.

Everything was perfect! 2 different sizes of pillows ( High & Low), I like low my husband likes high… rarely are both offered!!

With all of its history and the linkage between it and industry in the town, including the Whisky and Chocolate factory and the surrounding wineries. John and Jen who run the Hotel were outstanding in every possible way! Loved the bank vault library and wine cellar and the continental breakfast was as good as you will get anywhere.
