However, it was midnight before the disco stopped - 5 past actually. It was so loud the teacup on the bedside table was clinking along. The karaoke was an experience I would not like to hear ever again.

This was our third stay and we will be back. The only slight complaint was the bed. The mattress was a bit lumpy and could do with replacing.

- Janet (10/5): Very friendly and welcoming hotel with the added advantage of free parking - I was well catered for at breakfast as I am Coeliac I answered less for room comfort as we were awoken at 2.30am by a group outside who had been spending the evening at the micro brewery and they were loud and continued for a good while. However, this was not in the control of the hotel so next time we would ask for a room at the front of the hotel.

- mary (3/5): not brill - shower was ok room was ok no dinner available. Surprised no staff at all was on the premises after 6pm till breakfast. And didnt provide any service after 6pm as all gone home. normally it would have been 5pm but we were there for a wake for a family bereavement. the small room where the wake was nice but being rather small the room was very hot . I dont like a place to be cold but it was so hot the windows were all steamed.

It would have been helpful if they had pointed out that it is possible to park directly outside for a short time to drop off bags. No staff on site at night, which is a bit unusual for an hotel of this quality.
