Debbie (10/5): Such a nice hostel in Phitsanulok - - female dorms - clean - AC in the rooms - kitchen to use and free coffee, tea, snack and water - good location, not too far from the train and close to temple/museum - friendly owner and sweet dog - No English spoken, but we figured it out anyways - hardly anyone staying at the hostel! But that’s mostly because of the town, it’s just not on people’s list I guess. - I got a message after booking saying I should pay online, now as a foreigner you can just bring cash, but that’s a bit confusing

Greta (7/5): Convenient location to train station - I only crashed here for a night to have a break in the train journey from Bangkok to Chiang Mai. It's within walking distance from the train station and very convenient. There was a nice lady that met me and let me into the hostel when I arrived. The kitchen area available to guests is really good. In the morning I had a small walk to the river front, so good convenient location and it was sufficient for my purpose. The bathroom had a bad smell and the beds were a bit hard and the curtains on the bed were not blocking out the light.

Gregor (10/5): Exceptional - This is a great budget option in Phitsanulok. It was clean and not far from city center (very close to the Railway Station). Super quite and good for sleeping after a big day exploring the beautiful surroundings!
Giulia (6/5): Pleasant - The boss was very kind and helped me with some information, although we didn't meet in person but just chatted. Position is good especially if you arrive with the train amd it's close to the bust stop to Sukhothai I normally have no major issues with hard beds, but this night gave me some back pain
Grace (10/5): Thank you Ton! - Ton the owner was so kind and accommodating. I got off the night bus late and he left the keys in a lock box and allowed me to pay the following morning. The room was clean, cool and the attached bathrooms were so handy. The next morning he informed me on where to catch the bus to Sukhothai. Lots of helpful information on the wall and overall a great stay.

Vivi (8/5): Convenient for visiting the temples and close to the train station - I arrived after midnight by train and the owner allowed me to do a self check in which went smoothly. The area is safe and peaceful. I walked from the station around 1am and felt very safe. The place is homely and comfortable, has everything i need and worth the price. Mosquitoes and some spiders in the toilet areas.
Vichy_cmbkk (10/5): Excellent accessibility and homy feel. - Calm hostel hidden in the small area, however, you can go to the main tourist attractions easily. 5 - minute walk from Phitsanulok Railway Station. Feeling like staying at home. Not any.
Brnyblt (9/5): Cute receptionist cat, kind owner, clean room. What else you could wish for? - The location is very central. The room is cozy, although the bed is typical Thai, don't expect a soft mattress! Everything was clean and you are greeted by a cute cat at the reception. Checkin is super smooth and the owner of the place is very kind. The train runs rather close to the building so if you are a very light sleeper this can bother you - for me it was okay.

Potential guests ringing doorbell at night, so the sign saying “please ring this number” for the landlord needs to be more prominent. Bit noisy due to proximity to the road but didn’t really keep us awake.

Rebecca (10/5): Absolutely wonderful - must see location, must stay in nap corner! - Location absolutely perfect, within five minutes of the key temples & the river, within ten minutes of the train station, the owner, Tun, is absolutely wonderful, answered all of my burning questions about Thai culture, and when I asked how to get to the Pho Lum Lo blossoms, he brought me along on a family trip as they were already going that way! Absolutely honoured to have been invited on that trip and couldn’t be happy that I stayed in Nap Corner, couldn’t recommend highly enough!

David (7/5): Good - Fairly centrally located, within walking distance to most of what you may need. Reasonably clean. Owner is quite responsive and helpful though he isn't often at the hostel. Weird bathroom layout where you have to walk past the shower area to get to the toilet, getting your feet wet in the process. No toilet slippers provided to avoid this. Also having the bathroom inside the room is a bit awkward, especially if your bed is next to it. It's also on a busy roundabout so it can get quite noisy.
