- Tammy (2/5): Very poor, as there was no 1 in reception as for a woman on a t.v. screen said she was over sea's. - Not much at all. Will not be staying there again. Bed wasn't a queen bed or king bed, had a very bad toilet smell the minute you walked into the toilet room, & some people coming & going in the night with there doors banging. Also when l opened my door in the morning to leave, where not to far away from my room on the ground like a trail. Where from some junkie who lefted about 15/20 swobs for neddle using all there in view, it was discussing!

Noisy location - both the road and the metal stairs to upstairs units near our door were noisy 3. Bathroom very small - needed a vanity. 4. Although we had only reserved and were to pay at venue Booking.com took the money a day ahead of time.

I was uncertain about being at the right motel. I nearly gave up and went to the neighbouring motel. I rang them. Someone staying appeared and they told me about the virtual reception.

- Peter (5/5): - We were put upstairs with the on-line booking when I asked could we get a downstairs unit I was told no they were fully booked. well sorry I wasn't convinced as thise guests must have walked in and stayed in the dark as we never saw sufficient vehicles or units with lights on to make me believe them. Therefore myself and my wife who is recovering for serious foot surgery had to lug our stuff up stairs Also both vanity taps very tightly shut off by still leaking badly the hot had been leaking so long the water dripping out was quite hot

Motel had a remote reception set up which is the first time we have encountered. Room did everything we needed and so suited us perfectly. Beach area walk was really good. Glad that we visited.

- Michael (1/5): We didn't stay, left and booked elsewhere. I'm fully expecting a refund. - Nothing. There was not a single person at the property. We were met in reception by a zoom call from a "receptionist" who clearly knew very little about the property and did not even provide accurate details of where to find the room. The airconditioner in one of the bedrooms did not turn on (it was 35 degrees, it should have been left on to keep the temperature reasonable) and there was a curtain rail that was not secure right above one of the beds. When I spoke to the zoom call about these issues she asked me to go and take a video of the issues and send it to her. Outrageous. As the paying customer I'm to go and help solve the problem?

Very good value for the price. Very happy. Everything is close in Whyalla so convenience is not a issue

It was spotlessly clean, checkin and communication was outstanding and the shower was brilliant after some very cold diving at Stony Point. Sure it's a little dated and showing its age, but if you're looking for something clean and tidy to rest your head for the night, you can't go wrong here - wouldn't hesitate to book again.

- Suzanne (10/5): - This venue is remote operated but when we accidentally left some items behind they coordinated with on site cleaning staff to ensure our items could be picked up by the courier we arranged. They were very easy to deal with and went above and beyond!!! The room was exactly what we needed and had lots of amenities. Check in was smooth and no fuss. Overall a fantastic stay!
