• Tristan (9/5): We had a lovely stay it is close to all the amenities...a real bonus. - The breakfast very hearty and excellent value for money and it was very well prepared by the staff. Nothing was too much trouble for them :-) We enjoyed the service that we received from them. Banda is fantastic and he offered us an upgrade on our room because he was aware that it did not have a view and took the trouble to call the owner took the necessary arrangements...he has a ready smile and is a realm asset. The rooms are spacious and very neat and we could not be happier with what was available to us. I was very satisfied with the establishment and there was nothing that I did not like during our stay.

The guest house was clean, cozy and had a lovely relaxing atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the location was great. Even when we missed breakfast, the host was very kind and made us feel comfortable. It really felt like a home away from home. There were a few small things like the TV being a bit slow and no bottled water in the room, but these were not a big issue for us and did not affect our stay.

• Jalal (2/5): Very Terrible and overwhelmingly expensive. - Nothing. Owner and security were overly rude and disrespectful . You’re getting a bedroom where the owner sleeps in and they make you feel like they’re doing you a favor or gave you the place for free.
• SantieNel (8/5): Pleasantly surprised — no complaints - Our room was spacious and came with a patio that had genuinely lovely views — the kind you actually stop and look at. The location works well if you're visiting Lichtenstein Castle, which is where we had a function, and the proximity made things easy. Staff were friendly and pleasant throughout. A solid stay overall.

• Lisbeths Glück (7/5): Schönes B&B mit toller Gartenanlage und fairen Preisen - Nettes Bed & Breakfast mit einer schönen und gepflegten Gartenanlage. Das Inventar ist teilweise etwas in die Jahre gekommen, und bei unserem Aufenthalt war die Badewannen-Brausearmatur defekt. Dennoch war alles sauber und man fühlt sich sicher und gut aufgehoben. Das Frühstück bietet eine eher kleine Auswahl, ist aber völlig ausreichend. Insgesamt stimmt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis absolut. Wer keine Luxusunterkunft erwartet, sondern eine solide und angenehme Unterkunft sucht, ist hier gut aufgehoben.

• Wolfgang (9/5): Great location for Hout Bay or Cape Town (north) or the Peninsula (south). Excellent value for money - Incredibly friendly and helpful staff, notably Mr Banda! Great location for all attractions in Hout Bay, but also for Cape Town – beautiful drive (itself a tourist attraction) along the Atlantic ocean of perhaps 30 minutes to the north – or to places south in the Cape Peninsula - or over the Kloof to Constantia or Kirstenbosch and Cape Town airport. The value for money is outstanding: we really thought they’d made a mistake when quoting a price of under €100 per couple per night including a very good breakfast! Last not least a pleasant small swimming pool and a beautiful view across northern Hout Bay. We also very much appreciated the convenient free on-site parking. To get to the parking from one’s bedroom or to the dining room/reception guests have to cross the verandas of other guests, though not a major problem, and more discretion could easily be achieved by mosquito – net type curtains that let in daylight to the rooms and thus ensure better privacy.

• Suzan En Yuri (9/5): Fijn verblijf, bij lieve mensen. Goede prijs-kwaliteit verhouding. - Het personeel was echt heel erg vriendelijk en stonden bij het ontbijt klaar om een lekker ei-ontbijtje voor je te maken. Daarnaast keek onze kamer uit op de prachtige bergen. Verder was het bad fijn en was de kamer ruim.

View from the room was beautiful and it was a short drive from the beach, shops and restaurants. Breakfast was also lovely. Great stay for travelers and would definitely consider again! Kitchen equipment is a bit outdated

• Michael (5/5): Great place. Rude staff member. Such a pity. - It’s in a great location and the room was comfortable with a nice big fridge and kitchenette. Comfortable bed and they had extra pillows in the cupboard The very Rudd staff member. I went down in the morning to ask for a late check out at 12. The lady at reception said no problem at all. Then this rude staff member just appeared on our private veranda and said we had to leave at 11. I told him the lady at reception said we could leave at 12. He said no you must go and 11. He says someone was coming in that day. I think m2 hours is enough to clean the room. So I chased him away. No thought for out privacy and downright rude. The fan also didn’t work in the bedroom. And they said sorry it’s broken. Not acceptable. I told them to get someone to fix it. Also no soap or shampoo in the shower. It’s a pity as I do like the place.

• Hiscutt (8/5): Apart from the one issue mentioned, all good. - The stay was comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful. The only complaint I have is that we had one of the back rooms facing the entrance gate of the property and at the top of the property is the garage/;aundry and the issue is that water come down the bank from the laundry, rushes down the retaining wall area, it has a strong soap smell that permeates the area around the bedroom, which is really unpleasant. The suggestion is why dont you pipe the water down to the drain instead of it running freely down the bank.

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und Hilfsbereit. Alle Zimmer haben keine Klimaanlage, das bestätigte die Eigentümerin Bianca, obwohl von Bookincom angeboten!!! Auch der versprochene Meerblick fehlt von diesem Gästehaus. Das Pool wasser war unrein, keine Sonnenschirme.

Great pool,and garden, rooms are big with super king beds , lovely breakfast too, fantastic value , away from the centre but only £3 in an uber - they were all great too ! Leaving it !
