- fiona margaret (8/5): - No windows in the room. But I did particularly like the roof terrace. The owners, could have made more of this space. I took photos of the remarkable surrounding buildings and what the search life play on the night sky. Even able to see KL Tower lit up and view across to Pavilion center.
- Lily-Mae (8/5): - Good area near the food street, many shopping centres and the train station. Room had everything you needed. The rooms without a city view have frosted windows that look into a wall with no lights coming in so you cannot tell what time of day it is.

- Russell (6/5): One night stay - Hotels like I did in a nice area however having stayed in five or six hotels in that same facility I felt that the room was not of a high-quality or decent size compared to other hotels of a similar price so while I have no problem with the Hotel as such I just felt that it was overpriced compared to many other hotels that I’ve stayed at in the similar area. Staff friendly location is excellent but as I said earlier it’s just a little overpriced.

- Katrina (4/5): Disappointing - This is an honest review based on our stay. The hotel was disappointing. It's not a "boutique" hotel at all. Carpets are dirty and our room was very small and nothing like the photos. There was dust and it just didn't feel clean enough. The Aircon was noisy too. No fridge in room so our water was warm. The worst part (not the fault of the hotel) is the noise. We had loud bass music playing until 5.30AM both nights! Absolutely horrendous. If you're young and want to party all night then great but not for us. On a plus the location is near lots of things walkable.

The room, with only 15m2, is really really small and you could easily find other places within the same area that will give you more space, better views, breakfast etc. for less

- Aku (8/5): Great value, awesome location. - Top notch location, everything is within walking distance. Mostly clean room, nice beds, free water bottles daily and 24/7 reception. Really good value. Shower curtain was a bit dated, bit of dust on lower shelves, had to ask for a hairdryer from reception.

The cleaning staff was hit and miss, for three nights, they never got to our room. We had to go to the desk for TP, soap and such. There are many restaurants in the area and it's safe to walk around at night.

- brin_chan (10/5): Brin's Hotel Review (Hotel Twenty 8B) - Overall I had a pleasant stay at Hotel Twenty 8B :D Firstly, the receptionist was super friendly and polite. Secondly, the hotel room I stayed at was the superior queen view room (non-smoking room, 2 pax). Overall, the hotel room was clean, neat, minimalistic, and had all the basic bathroom and bedroom essentials. In my opinion, if you're looking for an affordable hotel with your partner for a 1-night stay or few nights stay that is located in KL city centre or specifically nearby Bukit Bintang (Pavilion, KLCC, Lot 10, Sungei Wang, Berjaya Times Square etc.), then this hotel would be one of the best options/choices, hands down.

It’s very centrally located with plenty of restaurants around. The room was clean but small….what you’d expect for the price. The hotel is on a very busy street and it gets very loud at night. Bring ear plugs. The wifi went our at least twice a day while we stayed there and it made it difficult to get work done. The staff was always very friendly and even offered us a late checkout .

- BountyHunter121 (8/5): Great value in the heart of KL (Bukit Bintang) - Stayed here for three nights in KL. Overall great value for money given location. Relatively ne W build as well so decent quality rooms. Pros Great location - 8 minute walk to Pavillion shopping centre and near lots of good bars / restaurants. The Spanish tapas bar nearby was amazing! Also on a quiet street. Room was very quiet. Slept well with a decent mattress Breakfast spread basic but effective Ceiling Fan and air con in room Cons Emailed the hotel twice about arranging an airport transfer, even messaged them on Instagram to no response which was frustrating. Limited hot water for showers if two of you. Room often fills with a bad smell of garlic or sewage. Seemed to be coming through the floor and ceiling vents. No way to open the window in our room however blasted the air con and it helped to clear the smell.
- nooriskandar (6/5): Don't get the hype, decent but could be better! - I am a frequent hotel hopper in KL and was actually looking forward to this highly-rated new boutique hotel but my stay there leaves much to be desired. Let me go through the pros first, good location for those who are into night activities, or the Bukit Bintang stretch. There is also a lift, quiet environment, nice little porch and cute reception area. I forgo the breakfast so can't say much. The cons: Maybe it is just my luck but the receptionist who served me had "a chip on his shoulder". you could feel the tension which made me very awkward. I was being cordial when the first thing he said was "just wait, i am in the middle of reservation", I could do with a more amiable reception. Afterwhich he insisted on deposit. Having no excess cash and not wanting to withdraw it, he collected RM25 ringgit in singles (whatever money I had left from the trip_. Abit odd, usually hotels are lenient to prepaid guests especially for smaller chains hotel alike. I was then given an obviously different room type, I booked the slightly larger room without view due to the layout of the room (it is definitely needed for prayer purposes), but was given a one with a view facing a tree. I hope the hotel honours what guests paid for. Fortunately got the room booked after much back and forth "No, it is the same, our system did not get the different room types guests booked, it is the same price etc " excuses. Why separate the room categories on booking.com then if all room types are the same. I wish this was handed better too, expected one to keep going down with the luggage, then up again. The room was decent, the cable TV was good, wifi seems good as well as the decor, nothing shouty just good decor. A point though for my room which was next to a lift, I entered the new room with an extremely pungent smell. Very chemical-ish as thought they just fogged the room or something. No wonder they left the little window opened, which I then closed due to the aircon but it felt like it gave me respiratory problems until today. No warnings were given though so hopefully nothing long-term. Multiple qualms for such a decent spaced hotel.The guy during checkout was definitely more approachable and handled the task seamlessly. Just a side note, to wear mask especially if you are front-facing and having a cold/flu especially during this coronavirus period. I'm glad many had good stays here, maybe I am just an anomaly.
- 70dipen (8/5): LOVE THE HOTEL FOR GROUP STAY !!! - We have booked 8 Double bedded superior queen room from 20th to 23rd Jan 2020 (3N) with breakfast, on arrival we were welcomed by front desk lady who was very helpful.The rooms were small but well groomed and toilet were clean with LCD TV and complimentary coffee and tea maker kettle,hotel is located walking distance of main shopping area Bukit Bintang (7-8 Minute) and nearby many Indian and Bangladeshi restaurant and many mini marts sounding the hotel,there are 2 Bars nearby and night street on the front street of the hotel.Hotel has limited breakfast but good,they have good free Wi-Fi and elevator facility,they keep 10 RM per room as security deposit which is refundable at the time of check out,the lobby is good and good for internet user,the hotel top floor is excellent for view of city & street,we love the hotel very much and hope to visit again.
- 400kayl (8/5): “BOUTIQUE ACCOMODATION” “ CLEAN, TIDY, NICE” - LOCATION Great location in Bukit Bintang near the restaurant/bar street with plenty of eating options. This inn is a modern building with a trendy, smart-sophisticated interior decorating and regimented management. LOBBY Has high chairs (for adults), a computer for internet access and an assortment of books and magazines to pass the time. SERVICE There are no hairdryers in the room so one must collect from reception. The plugs were all local, so we borrowed an international adapter from reception. Would have not expected this in a hotel built in 2017. We received a telephone “reminder” 20 min before check-out, which we thought was supplementary/superfluous. Some guests may even be resting just before check-out. Would prefer to be disturbed perhaps 5 min before or after the deadline. Before returning the deposit, housekeeping will check the room. ROOMS Chic, cosy and cute the rooms exuded a oriental style of wooden paneling. The design of the wardrobe next to bed functioning also as a table with a barrier is innovative, stylish and practical. Bed is soft and comfortable. Bathroom clean and tidy. Room appears just like the photos. Hot water button near bathroom confusing. Water more warm than hot. FOOD Breakfast is served strictly from 7:30 am to 10 am. Price RM 12 pp. Menu includes a rotating dish of fried mee, fried rice vercimelli, fried rice and fried Kway Teow. Set breakfast includes chicken sausages, cereal, boiled eggs, fruit, toast bread, coffee/tea, cordial and water. We were late, but they accommodated by giving us bread and juice. Breakfast simple but adequate for a start to a day of exploration and experience. We dined at “FEEKA” for lunch and “Dining in the Dark” (see my review) around the corner that evening. SUMMARY Good for a one-night stay.

- NinaParmar (10/5): Fantastic boutique hotel in a great location! - I booked for 1 night and then a further 2 nights following a break in Taman Negara. Hotel is located in Bukit Bintang. I booked a Superior Queen with breakfast and wasn’t disappointed with the room. Clean, comfortable, towels, comfy pillows, Fan & air con. TV and safe. Staff were all helpful and we were able to check in early which was great. They were helpful in directions. Breakfast was simple and adequate, we’re coffee and toast people so this suited us. There was cereal and juices and Malay food. The location is perfect close to bars, restaurants, shopping malls, ATM, mini marts but the rooms are so quiet so no noise disrupting sleep. Walking distance to the PETRONAS towers and other sights, malls. There is a great little shop near bb housz wine pub which is best place to buy tiger beer, 6 ringgit. We then on our return had the same room but were upgraded to a Superior King which was lovely, more spacious within the room & bathroom. Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel in KL and would definitely recommend anyone wanting a reasonably priced hotel in a great location and I would come back here.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The pictures don’t do this awful little Pitt justice.The rooms are so small and dingy and the hotel closes and locks the doors at 8 at night due to the area having gangs of men stood around. If you want hot water you have to switch the boiler on and wait 15 minutes for hot water. The only good thing about this place was how quick they got me a taxi and checked me out to leave the country by 4 days sooner Avoid it
