Guest Reviews
- Bryce (10/5): - Nice
- sherri (10/5): - It was late so he quickly got us into our room. I forgot my license and a soon as my door opened the next morning he was bringing me my license. The bed were very comfortable.
- Sonya (8/5): - Was nice and quiet it didn't have a phone in the room
- jan (6/5): Much room for improvement - First impression was not good. Drove up to a major re-model. Parking lot was full of old mattresses and furniture.
Mattress was VERY HARD, pillows were hard and flat.
The vanity LED light was very bright. It was on the same switch as the bathroom light. No way to leave the bathroom light on without being blinded by the vanity light.
Room was full of flies.
- Janet (2/5): - We only stayed one night conditions were so bad. We had to be moved to a room because our 1st room the door did not lock. In the 2nd room the lamps did not work we had to unplug the microwave to charge a device. My husband could not hook up his medical device due to non working outlets, the shower did not work, water to the tub but not to shower. I will not recommend or return to this property. I paid for two nights we only stayed one due to the poor conditions
- Michelle (10/5): - Everything was clean and quiet. Plenty of parking. Friendly, easy check in.
- Mark (4/5): - Dirty floors
- Ahman (2/5): - Bed bugs
- Angela (10/5): - Owner was so nice. Safe and clean place to stay. Out dated but for somewhere to sleep it was perfect!!
- emma (10/5): - It was amazing it's amazing every time I stay
- Janet (10/5): - The room looked clean on the surface but every nook and corner had years of uncleaned dirt and the bathtub was only half cleaned.
- 105debp (4/5): We got what we paid for. Bathroom door would open or close if we lifted the toilet lid up - The place was pretty threadbare. Gaps under the door, stained wallpaper, bathroom door wouldn't open or close unless we lifted up the toilet lid. Would not stay there again. It was quiet, but I did feel a little uneasy. No breakfast, of course, and we knew that, but this was the very bare minimum
- Dawn (8/5): Recommend - Very nice place! Owner/manager was very friendly and efficient.
- William (10/5): - Very clean and staff was very helpful and courteous
- Brenda (8/5): - The ice machine was not working.
- Ralph (2/5): - Would not stay again
- Royesha (10/5): - It is a very nice hotel.
- Dustin (6/5): - Just didnt seem like it met its motel requirements
- David (8/5): Truck parking - Great parking for my truck and trailer. Good food within walking distance. Bed was too firm for me and the pillow was flat as a pancake, but I slept well.
- Taneshia (10/5): - Everything was great besides the water didn’t get cold in the shower
- Jason (4/5): - The room was extremely hot. Walls had peeling paint.
- Lakiesha (6/5): - It was clean but had an unusual smell. The room needs major updates. Everything in there was outdated. Wallpaper was peeling..lamps was torn up. Box spring had stains. The mattress on the let out couch was in terrible shape. The couch itself was also torn. There was no extra blankets when asked. The air worked perfectly. The location was perfect.
- Darren (6/5): - To sleep for the night a 8
- jeff (6/5): - The rooms need serious updating. Couch had rips, chairs were dirty and frumpy, everything was old. The owners live in the front lobby and were watching a movie when I came in. They didn’t notice me until I said hello and the room smelled like their supper.
- Heather (10/5): - The only thing they did not have was a coffee pot In The room
- GLynn E. (8/5): Late night check in - When there’s nothing else around and you need a good place to sleep nice and quiet and can get in late at night this is a good spot.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Overnight stay while work was being done on my home
- Donna (10/5): - Great access to the freeway. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms and bathrooms. Seemed to be tucked away in a nice safe area.
- H (10/5): - Nu
- Andrew (10/5): - Courteous staff and friendly service.
- Tanique (4/5): - Rooms dirty, the furniture run down. The staff was missing at checked out.
- Timothy Lee (6/5): - I didn't really expect much and that is what I got.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Not the worst I've stayed in, but NOT 5 star - The sheets and towels were clean. The area seemed safe. The facility is ran down. They do not deep clean, the shower could have been cleaner and everything could use to be dusted. The water temperature was great but the shower head left a lot to wish for. I did not see any bugs. The staff was friendly, but did not speak English well which made me wonder if I was being understood a lot.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Keep driving til you get to a different hotel - This hotel was very dated...... decor, bedding, everything. It needs considerable renovation to make it an acceptable hotel. Bedspreads looked like they were original to the motel......right out of the 70's. Sometimes the things that are visible make you question the things you can't see. Would not stay here again!
- Linda (6/5): - Unfriendly front staff, not helpful. Carpet in room is filthy. Needs replaced. They are doing work on some of the rooms hopefully they are pulling out the carpet.
- Jamie (10/5): - After reading reviews I was worried but it’s a cute little inn, I love that everything was so clean! Including the bedding! No bugs, no smell, new lamps in room and very convenient.
- Stevie (2/5): - All the furniture look at it was purchased at the local thrift store.
- Mike (4/5): - Property is in serious need of maintenance, broken furniture in our room,More than half of our electrical outlets and lamps did not work,Pillows are old and flat and the bed it’s like sleeping in a hole. They have a functioning ice machine and did bring clean towels every day. The shower was acceptable the toilet not so much, Preschool size.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Property was quiet and safe
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great
- Cathy (6/5): Does use computer to check in guests - I waited at the front desk for several minutes before the clerk came to check me in. I told her I had two rooms reserved and she never gave me the second one. So, I spent the rest of the evening trying to figure out if I was being charged for a room which I was allowed to check in.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It was great
- Verified traveler (8/5): - They have repainted areas…new air conditioner in my room…and shower curtain…it was quiet so sleep was attainable..this is an aging facility..so peeps when you give negative remarks remember that…very reasonable prices too…they do need to splurge on new bed pillows 👍
- Verified traveler (6/5): - I like that the property provided an available room.
- Stalina (2/5): Dirty and outdated place - The place is extremely outdated and dirty. There were holes on the couch, and it looked very dirty. It looks like from the dumpster. The chair was the same. The sheets were clean but the blanket was very old and looked like the couch and the chair - dumpster type. I would not recommend staying at this motel.
The recep0tionist was friendly. It was the only positive experience from this place.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - I cancelled this reservation. The reviews showed bed bugs and disappointing reviews. I called and cancelled the room. Even our relatives stated, "I hope that you do not get bed bugs!" We were there for our Cousins funeral. We located another hotel in Laurel that we booked. I hope that, you have not used my credit card and billed me? I will dispute the charges! We CANCELLED!!!! Mike Moretti
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Shower was clean. Comforter on the bed was as old as Sanford and Son. Mattress was hard. Room smelled like horse ass and
Deviled eggs
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Information about politics was completely wrong .No pets were allowed even though it was in the info that they were allowed
- Verified traveler (2/5): - This was a terrible place from the inside out. I do not recommend anyone. This has got to be a hourly HOtel.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Upon check in, I had to stand in the freezing cold rain at a window because the lobby was locked. They tried to give me a room with One bed when I reserved a room with 2. I checked in with 3 adults and was given 1 key. When we got to the room, there was a hole in the wall where what I assume the doorknob went through and the Sheetrock was all over the floor. The phone did not work so we were unable to call the front office, we did take pictures. There was a plastic bag wrapped around the fire alarm and the furniture was a bit ripped. There also no toilet paper, we used the Kleenex, but when that ran out the office was closed up tight and dark. We had to go buy toilet paper. The room had No blow dryer, coffee pot, ice machine, or Iron. It did however have an ironing board, microwave and refrigerator. Would I ever stay or recommend the Claridge Inn......No No No!!!!!
- Haydan (10/5): - First time in Mississippi, purchased a room with a king sized bed for one night. Service was friendly and very hospitable. The mini fridge and microwave in the room was a big plus. I was also happy to find an ashtray in the room since many places with smoking rooms don’t supply ashtrays. The room was very affordable and exceeded expectations.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Very run down facility and the beds made concrete seem soft!
- Melenie (8/5): work - It was average stay for me and the guys .. We are construction workers so it served the purpose
- Christopher (8/5): Decent hotel for the price - Good visit fast check in and nice size room
- Richard (8/5): Good sleep passing through. - Suprisingly quiet, hvac very efficient, wifi easy access. Bed very comfortable, room clean, bath area shows age but had excellent hot water.
- MF (10/5): - This is a convenient stop off Hwy 84 and Hwy 45. It is always quiet so we can get some rest. The Yamato Hibachi and Sushi is on one side ( you can walk ) and the gas station and Mexican restaurant is on the other side. The staff is quick. The rooms are older, yes...but clean and quiet.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - This property was clean and convenient. The europillow top mattress made the night! The only problem that I had was being mischarged by the guy who checked me in. The ladies in the morning assured me that it would be fixed as soon as the GM arrived...and it was! I like this location since it is quiet for being right off the interstate, near a Walmart and restaurants. Thank You. We will be stopping here again when we come through.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - IT WAS OK. NICE ENOUGH HOTEL, STAYED THERE BEFORE WHEN I CAME TO A FUNERAL 5 YEARS AGO. A CENTER HOTEL FOR THE PLACE I HAD TO GO, BETWEEN SHUBUTA AND WAYNESBORO.
- Dora (10/5): - Very good
- Angela (8/5): - We enjoyed our stay here. No frills but pretty clean and restfull.
- DeAnne (4/5): Barely better than sleeping in the car. - Any port in a storm, but this hotel is 25 years past a needed upgrade. Holes in the box springs, dead bugs on the floor and furniture worn beyond imagination.
Stained sheets. Scary setting - rooms on the backside of the hotel face an overgrown area with little light.
Hard bed. Pillows barely wider than their cases. Cheap towels and soap. Not THE worst room ever, but close.
