- Maureen (6/5): - The hotel is acceptable for a quick pass-through-town late at night situation. Check in was easy. Room was spacious. Coffee available early in the morning, which is your typical basic chain hotel coffee. However- cleanliness was below average; there was someone else's hair in our shower, for example. Bed was hard; both our hips were aching by morning (we're side sleepers). Pillows small and lacking filling/ fluff. Towels appeared clean, but ultra stiff. But, staff is friendly and helpful. We were able to book last minute and bring our big dogs in for an extra fee. So all in all, it could be worse, but it could be better for what you end up paying.

Half and half without additive would be better. Eggs were not hot. We thought the bed was uncomfortable. The mattress was firm and supportive which we prefer but lacked a plush topper. Sheets were scratchy too. Hospitality was excellent. A microwave in the room would be better.

- charlesf930 (6/5): I would give them another shot - Staff was friendly and attentive. My room was clean and the air worked well. However there were a number of things that werent either working or were not attended to by maintenance. 2 of the 3 treadmills did not eork, and there were no cleaning products in the gym. That is really basic stuff. Also my digital key never worked. Reportedly that is the case for several of the rooms, so i was just out of luck for a promised benefit. These can be fixed if management considers them a focus. Like my title says i would givr them another chance

They can try to be a little bit more friendly and welcoming. The hotel facilities were clean. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back.
- brianbZ8776KH (2/5): Bed Bugs - No Hotel Response - We stayed at this hotel for a travel baseball tournament at Ripken. Unfortunately, we discovered bed bugs in the room the first night of our stay. We captured one in a bag (pictured) and showed the front desk where the employee took pictures of the bed bug. We had to drive home in the middle of the night with three small kids. After four phone calls and one email over a few weeks, the hotel manager has never responded. On one such call Hilton corporate said the hotel did their own investigation and found no bugs. That would be the definition of a conflict of interest - the hotel is incentivized to report no bed bugs even though we captured one and showed them. I can rationalize bed bugs from a prior guest, but the hotel response is a shameful way to operate a business.
- aavct90 (6/5): Average - This hotel was mediocre. The beds weren't particularly comfortable, the breakfast was just alright (cereal, waffles - nothing allergy friendly) and the service not helpful. We were supposed to get two beds and only had a king. When we called down for a roll away, we were told they didn't have any and to essentially suck it up. Also, there was a party in the lobby. It was a bit loud and there was food all over the area where the coffee area was. The rooms themselves were clean, so I'll give them that, but I would probably not stay here again. I expect more from Hampton

- Road04594949920 (4/5): It’s just water - Hampton has been a go-to Hilton brand for us for >30 yrs. Bottles of water have been provided based on our Honors membership for years. Not at this location. Learned that this franchisee adheres to only the Hilton requirement of waters for Gold and Diamond members. Think about it. I can take 6 bananas and 6 apples from the breakfast bar or take the spare Kleenex box with me but I can’t have a complimentary water to put in my CPAP machine or to rinse after brushing teeth. The breakfast bar was unattended and all the hot food items were cold and yogurt was warm. After breakfast, had to go back to the room and wash off the bottom of my shoes with a hand towel because the floor at the coffee station was super sticky. The room was great, bed was great and despite prior request for a room away from the highway, the allegation was a full hotel and we could not be reassigned; the parking lots and breakfast room would find that a false claim. There are plenty of other hotels around and, if we need to stay in Aberdeen again, we will choose another property.

- 165selenal (2/5): Terrible Customer Service - I was traveling to Maryland with my daughter's dance competition team. We needed to book 14 rooms. When the rooms were booked we were told we were able to to cancel the rooms within 48hours of our stay. I called to cancel 4 of the rooms. The front desk agent and manager, Thomas Elchelberger were extremely rude. The front desk agent tried to be helpful, but after talking to her manager, it seems as tho he tried to have her avoid letting me get in contact with him. When I finally was able to reach him, he refused to let me speak to, or give me information to contact the General manager, Roberta, stating that guests weren't allowed to have that information. Needless to say it seems as if he just wanted the business and neglected helping the customer do what was best for them. I do not recommend staying here, as they have no regard for the customer and their needs. Hampton Inn & Suites Edgewood/Aberdeen-South was a much better choice. They were extremely helpful and accomodating. They will get our business every time!

- kaitlynwW1170RO (10/5): Clean and comfortable. - I stayed here solo this past weekend while I was in town to attend the pyrex/vintage festival in havre de grace and had a great experience. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean, the shower was hot, nice shampoo etc available, no weird smells, powerful AC and I was happy with the price. It was close to a few stores and restaurants so no need to travel far for any needs. Tons of baseball kids that were at least quiet at night. Parents and coaches that don't teach kids not to run and scream down the hallways aren't the fault of the hotel. I traveled for events as a kid and our grownups would have made us stay in our rooms if we acted like that at any hour of the day.... but that's not on the hotel.... Honestly I have to search my brain for a negative and that would be that when I went to the carafe of hot water at night to make tea it clearly had had coffee in it earlier because it was coffee scented/tinted water....oh and no microwave in the room. I can't remember the last time I had a hotel without a microwave. I'll likely be returning in September to attend the same event. I'm debating staying here again because I was so happy with the experience even though the price for that weekend is incredibly high.

- Mark (10/5): - This Hampton is in a parking lot cluster with a bunch of other hotels. It’s near the Ripken Baseball Experience, where a little league tournament was taking place. For this, it’s super convenient and there are a ton of eating and drinking choices in the area. My suite was large and comfortable and they offer a wonderful, free breakfast.

When I went to check in the second night they said” we seen you re booked so we kept the same room for you” I explained to them I booked a different room this time and they apologized and said they had nothing else to offer me. The room had not been cleaned when we checked in the second time. Later that evening we called down for a blanket for the pullout couch and we were told all they could Offer us was a sheet. Over all this place was just okay

- gnahsee (10/5): Excellent Stay - Everything about this hotel was excellent from the moment we checked in until the moment we left. We usually stay in the Marriott baseball properties but they’ve become so rundown. We are glad to have found this Hampton! Upon check-in Roxanne noticed we had our kids with us and asked us to wait a minute so she could give us a bag of extra towels! She was so so kind. You can tell the difference between someone who is just earning a paycheck vs someone who loves their job or loves people. Or both! The room was what you’d expect from a well-run Hampton - clean and tidy. No problems with water pressure or anything. The breakfast buffet was surprising! There were was a make your own waffle station, hot egg omelets and ham and potatoes, cereals, yogurts, hard-boiled eggs, toast and bagels. We will definitely be staying here on our next return.
- DAVID A (8/5): - Like so many hotels these days, the bed was made with a duvet. I find it impossible to get comfortable with duvets, due to the inability to control temperature. Although it was mid-December, I turned the AC on and set it to 60 degrees and was still too hot. Perhaps I could have gotten a blanket instead if I'd asked, but I hadn't thought to do so ahead of time and didn't want to bother the front desk after midnight. This is not a property that provides extras (e.g., pillows, bathrobes, etc). Staff were very friendly, breakfast was good, and a restaurant (Grumpy's) about 50 yards away was recommended and proved to deserve the recommendation.

- Niccole (2/5): - I stayed in room 104 its ridiculous that my husband is handicap ans had licenses and can't even park in handicap. We literally had to walk around the building to even enter or exit. And i spoke with the front desk and they said that they would not do anything about it

- Sherry (10/5): Quick get-away - We booked the trip for the indoor pool but it was too cold in the pool/pool area, so we did not get to enjoy it. Other then that everything else was great!! Rooms were really comfy. Did not hear any outside noise and even the hallways were quiet. Breakfast was great also. Got to meet some people during breakfast and had some nice conversation. Liked that it was pet friendly so we met some friendly dog's as well

- Yalanda (10/5): Will be back! - This is my go to place in Aberdeen. Always clean and very friendly staff ESPECIALLY the lady I assume is head of housekeeping. She checked in with us to make sure we were happy with everything at breakfast! That was very appreciated!
- Rosalind (10/5): - One of the cleanest hotel rooms. Large room with king size bed. Large standing shower. Really good breakfast & very nice dining area.
- Stacie (10/5): Hit the Spot! - Everything about our stay was top notch! All of the facilities & the rooms were newly remodeled and it was so nice. I loved all the extras that were provided like the full size shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap & lotion. The breakfast was good and nicely presented with attention to detail throughout. The bed & pillows were great and our stay was super relaxing!
- Stephen (10/5): - The staff was very friendly and the accommodations were perfect for the type of stay that we were using the hotel for. We had an event nearby and stayed one night and had breakfast at the hotel before we got on the road. Breakfast was just what we needed!

- Lynn (4/5): - No breakfast 2 days in a row. When i asked at the front desk if he could at least put butter out for the bagels he said "I'm not a chef". And i waited to hit the road just to eat.
- Mark (4/5): - when I went in and checked in the young lady at the desk, the only thing she would say ID and credit card. for what ID and credit card. the room was paid for she would not state for incidentals, I had to ask credit card for what.

However, no fault of the hotel. There was no electricity available after a storm that meant no Wi-Fi no battery charging no telephone no TV

- JayN619 (10/5): What we were hoping for - We were pleased to find a room that was comfortable, had very functional decorating, a very comfortable bed, and most importantly, a front desk and staff that was the personification of hospitality. The front desk was extraordinarily helpful in getting us an early check-in, which we requested the day before, and they even called us the morning of our arrival to confirm that a room would be available early. They were just downright nice.

We were on the first floor near the check-in desk and every night was very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed our stay and will likely stay there again when in that area.

- Patricia (10/5): Memorial Day/granddaughter’s birthday - Other than children left unattended the stay was great Little league was going on @Ripken Stadium and the parents let them run wild throughout and destroy whatever they wanted from the hotel to the parking lot. I will never stay again during league season
