Guest Reviews
- Lorraine (10/5): -
- Robyn (9/5): Lovely location - very good accommodation - Loved almost everything about the property. Great location A few mornings being woken up early by delivery trucks to supermarket beeping as they reversed
- Gallie (8/5): -
- Michael (9/5): -

- Emily (7/5): - Location was superb - literally at the train line. Had all the kitchen items needed for a weekend away. For something so expensive, I expected something exceptionally clean and well looked after. Unfortunately this was its downfall. Having said this, I would book it again due to its location and modern vibe.
- Kathryn (8/5): We were really happy with our stay , near to the bay and Hampton shops , plus very close to Hampton station . The only i - Very clean and well equipped for our short stay of 2 nights. Fluffy towels , brand new appliances etc as apartment very new . Didn’t really enjoy the app JustIN mobile for entry etc , always concerned my phone would have no power or I would lose it .
- Daniel (10/5): -
- Paul (9/5): Great, thank you - All of it, the high street and train station right there Nothing
- Sabine (8/5): - Close to shops and train station Key pass didn't always work straight away
- Samantha (8/5): -
- Michael (9/5): - Handy to public transport, shops ,supermarket & secure. Was bit noisy at times, from apartments next door & some businesses at the back.
- NIELS FRIIS (4/5): - Altan ikke som forventet og med indhegning grundet fugle. Desuden marked nedenfor som starter larm hver morgen klokken 6 og næsten hele dagen.
- Elizabeth (9/5): Fab location! - We stayed for 5 weeks and really enjoyed it. Fab location, easy access to transport, shops, beach. Staff very helpful and friendly, thank you 🙂 The main room was very dark, maybe the enclosed balcony design/colours. Otherwise we loved it all!
- Anna (8/5): Lovely clean and perfectly located apartments - Handy location to the train station, Woolworths and local shops The bathroom window was locked by key meaning we weren't able to open it and let the shower moisture out which resulted in our bedroom becoming hotter than desired.
- John (6/5): -
- Alisha (10/5): -
- Stephane (9/5): -
- Sarah (9/5): Would highly recommend - Location and convenience Found things too hard to reach in cupboards
- Shelley (8/5): Clean, comfortable and very helpful staff - Location. Close to shops, train & beach Proximity to train station and overlooking rubbish in laneways behind shops
- Molly (10/5): -
- Lynette (6/5): - The location The outlook of the red brick wall and noisy aircon from the fruit market next door was unpleasant and prevented us from using the verandah. All photos on the website showed lovely open outlooks from open verandahs which was misleading. For a two week stay this was most unpleasant. We booked parking for our car and at no time prior to our arrival where we asked about the model of our car. Upon arrival we were informed our car was too big for the garage. The only information provided about car size was contained in the information sheet in the apartment. The website contained no such information. We paid for two weeks with a car space and that booking was not honoured by your company. We had to ask for proper fitted sheets on our bed. Not acceptable at this high cost of renting. This year we expect to spend six to eight weeks in Melbourne and our recent experience provides no incentive for us to book in your apartment block again.
- Vogel (7/5): Good apartment just needs a bit of loving care - Location Shower had hair on wall
Shower shelf on a slight angle so soap etc slipped off
Too hot in main bedroom
Bed a bit worn
No instructions about where on ground floor to put rubbish
Entry overly complicated. It may be better to get people to download app before they arrive.
Fridge handle missing
Fake flowers were dusty
- Karl-Oskar (6/5): - Det var prisvärt Ac’n funkade inte i ett av två rum som vi hyrde och detta åtgärdades inte tross påpekande. Va ingen höjdare när det var vissa dagar temperaturen ute va 45 grader varmt
- Sandra (10/5): Great, clean place, conveniently located, would stay here again - Clean, comfortable stay, as described. Parking situation was difficult on street
- Abasin (1/5): - location check in was overcomplicated. it took 30 minutes to fill out information and take and re-take photos for security purposes, lots of double entry with card details, bond required of $500 which wasn't mentioned on the booking page. then 15 minutes to figure out the car parking, as there's an elevator for the car, then a car stacker. everything requires internet access so for people travelling without data, check in would be a nightmare. there are no people at the door or front desk, this is fine but due to complications or issues that you have response times can be slow. We checked in approx 2pm and the place wasnt cleaned properly. the shower drain was so clogged with hair that the bathroom would flood if you take a shower, the property didnt respond so I had to clean the place myself. they put us on a side next to a market back end which was loud as they collect trash and bottles early in the morning. apartment didnt reflect pictures on booking. for the price, it wasnt worth it. wouldnt recommend.
- Jennifer (7/5): Great location and internal space, shame about outlook. - Great location near beach, train station, shopping and eateries. Very clean, spacious, modern, comfortable furnishings inside. well equipped and adequate supplies for washing machine, dishwasher and tea, coffee etc. Host responded promptly (via email).
If you don't mind the issues with the balcony noted below, the place is otherwise very nice inside. Outlook was a brick wall which darkened the interior but worse was the smell on the balcony emanating from the alleyway below. This was unexpected & very disappointing.
The phone app required to enter building and room was a bit temperamental - worked well at times and other times needed several attempts.
- Mary Anne (8/5): Relaxing time - Location was terrific. Apartment had modern appliances. The email instructions for access to the building needed to be sent prior to arrival.
The remote for the car access didn't work and had to be replaced. This took phone calls and emails. Terrific once you get in!
- kathleen (4/5): Location excellent, apartment neat and tidy but instructions on where ,when and how to access ? - Neat and tidy apartment.
Air conditioning worked well and quite, The instructions as to
1. Find the actual apartment in Hampton
2. The instructions as to find the locked box to obtain the keys to the apartment.
3. Getting into the garage was very difficult with a large car into space 404 !

- Albert (4/5): The stay was supposed to be a relaxing one. It wasn't. I will not be returning. - The location. I didn't like the digital key.
I didn't like the view of the brick wall outside our window.
I thought the couches were uncomfortable.
- Stephanie (5/5): Would not stay again. - The apartment itself was lovely and spacious
and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Nice couch and tv. We wouldn’t stay here again unfortunately. Too many emails and texts to check in. Then I had to ring as one of the important emails still hadn’t been sent. Download an app etc. for the key. It’s all time consuming. The stacker parking was stressful and so many instructions for that as well. onto When we were exiting the car park to drive onto the car lift it was so tight and on a small angle as you drive onto it - this was very stressful but didn’t scratch my car luckily! Just don’t need it to be so complex when going on a relaxing night away. I was glad my car was more secure though than on the street so really wanted it in the underground car park.
The fan that runs continuously in the ensuite was noisy.
One of the lights above the kitchen bench kept flickering on and off and needs to be fixed. Fan in courtyard very noisy so not pleasant to sit there. Bins and mirror in the bathroom were rusty. No face washers given with towels.
Trains toot their horns from 5am because of the train crossing right next to apartment and wake you up.
- Claire (8/5): - was a great size, clean and comfortable and closeness to the hospital didn’t realise the train station was there and the sound of the trains and horns made sleeping abit difficult
- David (9/5): I will definitely be back for future work trips! - Right next to train station, shops & restaurants which was super convenient. Instructions on how to use the digital key for the first time was a little vague, but super convenient once I got help from the person on the after hours line. The car stacker seemed complicated, so just used the 3P between 8am-6pm right out the front.
- Julie (9/5): Excellent short term stay in Bayside. - Excellent location, right beside the railway station, spacious apartment, fully equipped kitchen for cooking. Nice area to explore.
Secure and clean, the reception staff are very helpful.
Very quiet. I can’t think of anything.
- Linda (10/5): -
- Richard (9/5): -
- Paul (9/5): -
- Debby (10/5): Close to everything, very clean and secure apartments - Lovely and clean
Nest location Noise from above apartment
Sounded like renovations
- Philip (7/5): -
- Letitia (7/5): -
- Kathy (7/5): Successful for the purpose of the intended stay. - Location, security and opportunity for experience of apartment living
- Writer (9/5): Lovely modern apartment - Lovely modern apartment in the heart of Hampton Some early morning noise from garbage trucks
- Konrad (10/5): Einfach genial - Ich bin zum zweiten Mal dort geblieben und würde es immer wieder tun.
- David (8/5): quite good - location was great the digital keys on the phone
- Sada (5/5): Headache getting into the building!! - Location and 2 bedroom apartment with kitchen, & laundry. This was the most difficult property to check into in my entire life!!! People should be told before booking that they need to download an app on their phone to gain access via a digital key to get into the building. This wasn't convenient especially when I had less than 8% charge on my phone, & had to down load a new app. There were no people on site to help. Calling the number on the door, rang twice & forever before someone finally picked up. It took me over 2 hours to gain access to the building after I had contacted someone, and already paid the fee directly to Booking.com. Was exhausted, tired & crying my eyes out just trying to finish all their ridiculous requests in order to gain access, for a property I had already paid for. Couldn't even use the car parking as it was an elevator slots & we had a tow hitch on our vehicle, making our vehicle unable to be used in the parking elevator. Rooms & amenities were nice, and were what we required. But noticed toilets weren't exactly cleanest, with dried spots of urine on toilet seat, not impressed.
Overall nice place but, not worth the headache trying to get into it.
- Bronwyn (8/5): - Fantastic apartment only needed a clothes rack - even there is a dryer , just for clothes that I don’t like to put in the dryer
- Justine (10/5): Great location & comfortable apartment - Location Parking
- Rebecka (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sarah (1/5): Bad -
- Ben (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sean (5/5): Passable - Location was good. Check-in was ridiculous, sending selfies holding ID and credit card is absurd. If I had known this I would never have booked.
The room was advertised with free parking. It was heavily restricted and not suitable for all vehicles, again, if I had known that I would never have booked. I'm still waiting to see if I have a parking ticket from my stay.
- Fiona (8/5): A CUTE LITTLE GEM TUCKED AWAY WITH COMFORTABLE LIVING - LOCATION AND PROXIMETY TO BEACH AND CITY WAS GREAT. A HOME AWAY FROM HOME.
- Nicholas (8/5): Overall stay and room was good, assistance whist there was poor. - The location was excellent Calling the after hours number for assistance and no one calling back!
- Gregory (6/5): Pleasant -
- Jennie (9/5): Superb - Perfect position E key system was tricky at times
- Jackie (8/5): Convenient to Linacre Hospital and very comfortable and spacious layout. - The apartment was spacious with very close proximity to train station and access to the city. It was a bit confusing with the two addresses at first.
- Richard (9/5): Very nice apartment complex. Electronic access via app can be a little confusing - The rooms and location were fantastic. Beautiful kitchen and having a balcony was great too. We only just received our parking and check in instructions as we arrived at 3pm which made more stressful as there quite a few instructions with regards to the accessing the car park and checking in via the app.
The electronic access is a pain to use, by the time you open the app to scan in the elevator it is already going up to another level.
- Kathy (8/5): Worked well for my purpose. - Security & location Nil
- Mark (7/5): Great location, modern but not so clean - Location and modern amenities The room wasn’t clean and was missing some requested items
- Allan (6/5): It was comfortable to a degree for us old people the sofas easy chairs are to low - We were very stressed about the parking there was nothing on our email about picking up keys after an 8 hr journey it was awful, weren’t told about the direction we were supposed to park the car and once it was in that’s where we left it good thing our niece ferried us around. Most of the unit was clean but the drain in the shower was disgusting
- Geoffrey (4/5): Never stay here unless you make sure in advance that you can access the property! - Location is very good with services close to the apartment but, our unit faced onto a dirty laneway full of rubbish. In addition, the place advertised it as having a balcony. Unfortunately, the door to the balcony was firmly locked. I was emailed that I would receive the door code before our check-in. When this had not arrived by mid-afternoon two days before our arrival, I telephoned the property to ask. I was told that everything was okay & we would receive both an email & a text message with a key code. This did not happen. Instead, I was told I had not completed the online Check-in. I had not been told before that I needed to do this. At the time, I was en route by car to the apartment. I stopped & tried to do the registration. But the system repeatedly failed. It wanted me to upload a photo of my driver's license. This I did & the system told me this was successful, but then took me back to the beginning without completing the process. I telephoned the management & was told OK, I would be sent a text with a code to enter that would release our key to our apartment. We arrived, found the code machine & entered the number provided. It did not work. To increase our aggravation, my mobile now refused to connect to the management phone. We were rescued by a passing couple who allowed us to use their phone to ring the management. They then said I had to download their app. But, I was unable to do that because I did not have my password which was required to successfully instal the app!
They then gave us the corrected code for the key dispensing machine (they had left out 1 number) & we then managed to gain a key. But this was only a temporary measure. They had to swap this for another key the next day.
The whole process was chaotic. We were NOT provided with advance notice of this whole shambolic process. The staff we spoke to were ok, but it is unacceptable to require such a specialised process without giving people proper advance notice.
- Betsie (9/5): Superb - Great eateries within minutes
5 minute walk to beach
- Russell (8/5): - Parking is a stacked parking system. So it takes a while to park and is not straight forward. Location is directly beside a train station so quite loud at night and early in the morning with trains rumbling, horns, also some garbage trucks and construction noises. Property itself very nice 2 bedroom apartment. Very clean. Comfortable beds. All amenities needed
- Patsy (8/5): Very good - The apartment was in a good location, clean and comfortable. Although situated next door to the train station it was very quiet. Very close to restaurants and shops. I booked this property specifically as it offered free parking, however, it wasn't until I had booked and paid (non-refundable) that I was made aware that parking was limited and restriced to small cars only. We had a ute and it was too big to fit into their type of stacker parking.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Mostly good - Room was clean and well maintained, but property next door was noisy as was train line. The car stacker was very tight even for a small car. Walking distance to beach, cafes, restaurants and supermarket was definitely a positive.
- Marky4702 (7/5): Great location, bad noise. - I was in apartment 303. While the room itself had everything I needed and met my expectations, I can't recommend it for anyone that is a light sleeper. The bedroom was located directly above an alleyway, and several industrial buildings. The noise was horrific, a constant industrial machine sound and at times there were loud works and people in the alleyway at 4am. If you do stay here I recommend bringing earplugs.
The location itself though is a 10/10, the train station is literally 20 steps away from the front door and Hampton street is full of shopping and restaurants.
If you have to park on site it can be a little bit of a hassle. The building has a car elevator you have to take down and then place your car on a car stacker. The first time is a little confusing but after that it is easy, just a little time consuming.
- Judith (6/5): satisfactory - Location and quite spacious. Not a fan of DYI check-in. Would have preferred to know in advance that there was no reception desk and it was all DYI. Not a fan of receiving an on-line check form in while on the way to the airport on check in morning and being asked multiple questions, asked to provide multiple ID's and the final straw was asked to upload a copy of passport!!!
- Kenith (9/5): Superb - Good location. The receptionist did good job and apply to me immediately..The facilities of the house are enough to live here for a long time. Nothing.
- Kenith (9/5): Superb - Good services. The staff can solve me the problems I met.It is near the Hampton railway station and the beach. You just need half an hour to the city. Sometime there is noise outside.
- Peter (7/5): A short stay in a area where we needed to be. Pleasant enough but no sure that I could recommend . - Great location. Many foodie options very close by. Train station adjacent. Beach 5 minutes walk. Noisey very early mornings ( 5.30am) from adjacent business ( 7 days ) and overnight cooling system noise , made the stay less than refreshing.
Checking in was an less than friendly process as there was no reception area at this premises , as it was done remotely from a city location.
- Leigh (8/5): Very good -
- Kirra (9/5): Great little apartment - Ease of access, great location, amazing apartment. Was exactly what was advertised and very comfortable Balcony was above the bins and smelt bad. Couldn't have windows open but the unit was airconed so wasn't a problem
- Clinton (7/5): Good -
- Waffa (8/5): Very good -
- Jess (10/5): Exceptional -
- Martyn (9/5): Superb -
- Alex (7/5): Pleasant apartment but not sure whether access issues make up for hassle - Nice apartment. Good location Had to obtain a digital key for access. Never explained on booking form or in conversation. Preceding day with staff member. Only sent details whilst travelling and had to download a app
- Maryanne (8/5): Very good -
- Tim (10/5): - Very clean and comfortable. Right next to train station to CBD and short walk to beach and shops. Not easy to find untimed parking nearby unless had pre booked parking on site.
- Terry (2/5): - The WORST place I've ever stayed, and I spend 50 to 60 nights a year in hotels every year for the past 40 years!
Noisy, cramped, dirty and, although they promised me car park, they reneged and told me "no room for you".
- Rodney (1/5): Shocking - It took over one hour to gain access to the building after ringing multiple phone numbers most did not answer. The door at the facility was locked despite the after hours (5pm) reception number telling us there should be someone there.
So whilst sitting in a no loading zone we received a call back and after we had paid prior and provided details with our booking , we had to then fill out another Eform that we received via text and then … download an app which then granted us access the building and go and retrieve a key from a Dropbox at the front door.
Never in my life have we ever experienced such a process - never again!!! As above - plus the car elevator is faulty the door started to close on my car on the way out. Lucky it stopped - a tenant was on his way in and said it occurs at times!! Air Conditioning in the room didn’t work either.
- Melanie (8/5): Very good - Clean well equipped Parking in the supermarket car park
- Catherine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marcus (8/5): Very good -
- Paige (10/5): - really nice place to stay with easy phone key passes for rooms so you don’t have to carry any extra keys or cards.
- Brian (8/5): Good location and clean apartment - Well located near the train station and close to the beach. Also a good strip of food options and supermarket located close by. The apartment was clean, safe and secure. There wasn't any air conditioning in the bedrooms so had to rely on the ceiling fan and air con coming through from the main area.
- Dean (7/5): Good - Location right near the train station was convenient. The place was clean, the bed was comfy (although the pillows could have been a bit better). The check-in procedure was a bit complicated, especially getting the key for the parking. Using the stacker was intimidating initially although was fine with experience. Unfortunately, the apartment overlooked the back of shops and the trucks emptying the bins at 5am every weekday morning woke me up which was frustrating. The balcony also overlooked these shops and the odour coming from them wasn't pleasant.
- Cathryn (8/5): It suited our purpose for being in Melbourne. - Very close to venue we visited. Bathroom needs a bit of maintenance (towel rails broken).
We were at back of building and sound from exhaust fan made sleeping difficult.
- Timothy (1/5): Will not stay here again, even if they give me the room for no cost. Not close to value for money.n - No breakfast, get it yourself. Was not clean towels were stained with yellow brown stains, not clean. Presentation was unkept, not fresh. Reception and service was sub standard.
- Marcus (7/5): Suited us for our stay but just for sleeping. - Comfortable in convenient location for our stay. No view except over roof tops. But that was to be expected.
- Ronald (4/5): Somewhat disappointed - Location Virtual check in, bed uncomfortable, very expensive for what was provided, no information provided on how to use garage so used local car park, noise from garbage collection and deliveries to market
- Denise (10/5): Exceptional -
- Zinta (9/5): Superb -
- Ashleigh (10/5): - Stayed in a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment. Loved the apartment, clean and very nice. We were able to easily access Disney, Netflix for the child. Only thing I can fault is car parking, there is none. You have to park in the Woolies carpark where you can be charged and my room overlooked (I’m thinking a restaurant/bar) and was very LOUD when they were outside taking the trash. Other than that it was a nice stay
- Amelia (8/5): If you don’t laugh, you’ll cry. - The location was fabulous with easy access to buses, trains, and stores. The security of scanning the key at the door, elevator, and room door made everything feel secure and safe. The extra garbage bags were useful and the woman we spoke to about checking in was great. Everything was spacious and the balcony was a great addition. I made it known to the staff I’d be on flights via booking.com and asked them to send me through all information at least a day before hand. They were great with sending through the pre check in guest portal, as well as the app for the keyless check in; but no where in that immediate information did it specify the $300 deposit they needed. A $300 deposit for a poorly cleaned, noisy, and hot room, in my experience, is not necessary, especially when it even says on their guest portal that your card isn’t needed for payments unless damage is done. Some guests may travel with that sum in their account for easy dispose but we certainly don’t.
Just as if we weren’t stressed enough from trying to transfer into accounts and sort the deposit, the air conditioner didn’t work, the power point in the bathroom would cut out randomly, the shower wouldn’t drain because it was clogged with previous guests hair, the lint catcher in the dryer was full, and the attention to detail in cleaning was very obviously not there.
The bed had a huge dip in the middle making the nights sleep extremely difficult and the soap in the bathroom gave my partner an huge rash leading to us having to see a GP.
This entire place was honestly a pain to stay in and deal with. I’d much rather warn other guests then look beyond the bad and focus on the good. I can’t say our aniversary trip was ruined, but it was severely damaged by this experience.
- Ann (8/5): Very good -
- Bre (8/5): Room was beautiful, check in was stressful and lengthy. - I wasn’t aware prior to arrival that I would need to download an app to get a code to enter. This process was confusing and stressful, and I wish it had been clearer when making the booking.
- Daryl (6/5): Terrrible booking in, but once inside it was quite reasonable apart from the noisy rail station. - The room was quite spacious and had the usual basics supplied. TV with cable stations was nice to use and see. The room was clean and very functional . The parking was not onsite. I have a 4x4 so had to park in a nearby Woolies car park. unfortunately the room was facing the rail station so it was noisy, and also noisy from the construction work from adjacent building. the booking in process was horrific where information being requested to supply id electronically on the day! Luckily, I did have my laptop with me .....but when I rang there was no other solution being offered to me. please get better at coping with an occurrence like this. I also found the links being sent were not working for me on my Android phone (more hassles). It was ok on the laptop.
