• Verified traveler (8/5): Excellent hostel experience. - It is a hostel, not a hotel, so do not expect hotel amenities. It was our first hostel experience and it was very good. The location is good. The staff and everyone else were friendly and very helpful. Our room for 2 was clean and comfortable. The WiFi was good. The toilets and showers were good, private, and not dorm like. We had a very good experience and would happily stay there again.

• Adrian Jair (10/5): Great staff and experience. - Had a great experience with the room, stay, and staff. Everybody was friendly and accommodating, and helped my first solo trip experience feel like I had friends with me. They readily gave me great recommendations and even showed us around during the daily activities. The rooms and bathrooms were also always available and very clean. I would recommend to anyone.

• angus (10/5): - Close to Bourbon St. I think the property is well thought out. Shared bathroom area, but with separate lockable toilet/showers. I had issues getting in the building, had to call and be let in. 3pm check in and I didn't get the email with my code until after 730pm LoL. They answered the phone and came right down to let me in and tell me my code when I arrived and called the number on the door. My only complaint would have to be that the pool table has broken rails on both ends from people sitting on it. But that's chronic at places not maintained by a pool player. All in all, a great deal for the price and a short walk to Bourbon St.
• Megan (4/5): - The general gathering area and kitchen were both nice. Bathrooms were a bit outdated and dirty. Bedrooms had stained carpets, stained ceilings, and an HVAC unit that connected to a hole haphazardly punched through the wall. Also definitely some shady people here - men strolling around in their underwear and no shirt, people not staying in the hostel walking around (one tried to get me to give him the door code so he could let more people in). The lobby and elevator both smell strongly of urine (it is the first thing you notice). I wouldn't recommend this hostel for solo female travelers.

I appreciate the hostel having planned events for visitors to mix and mingle. and also being right in the middle of the French Qtr!!! This stay was a steal!! • Bryan (8/5): Quick visit to New Orleans - Wonderful location and great atmosphere. We enjoyed having a nice breakfast in the morning. Everything is clean and the staff are helpful and friendly. We could hear the outside noise in our room that we slept very easily. We will be back again.

• Ann (8/5): Definitely in the heart of the city shopping cente - It was a Lou’s a little confusing to get in. There were actually eight doors to get to before we hit our room. Once we figured it out, it felt relatively safe one night after dinner, a man followed us back to our hotel, and it did not feel safe. We also didn’t realize how to put the blinds down on the windows for the first night, but worked out very well the next night.
• Amanda (8/5): - good value as a solo traveller. however, the bathrooms seemed to need attention multiple times throughout the day. also - the lock on my shared room didn't work for part of the stay, so the entire dorm was free for anyone to enter. did not feel as if my things were completely safe as a result.
• Ernest (10/5): - The facility was very instrumental in ensuring that the stay was enjoyable. On the nights of my stay a guide (I believe his name was Ray) escorted a group to featured events. The first being a parade and second, Lafitte’s. Both nights, he ensured the we arrived at the location safely while explaining the history of the area. The guide helped make the stay more enjoyable and I appreciate his efforts.
• Elisha (10/5): - They provide an interesting experience where if you’re traveling solo, or in a group, there’s plenty of people to chat with. They have happy hour at 7 and usually visit Bourbon or French Quarter together. It’s a fun time and cheap to stay.

The location is fantastic for the price! They provide small lockers (1 foot cube) for valuables (i would like to have had a larger locker but that's okay). There's a nice communal kitchen, living area. I would stay again!

This place has all amenities. Full kitchen, big lounge room, big screen TV. This place in in the heart of New Orleans. I'll be back again definitely. Amazing.

The room had some broken tiles on the floor covered with rugs/carpet pieces that weren’t attached so they would move around. The bathroom was the best part: clean and organized.

It's not in a part of the French quarter that has people blasting their music right outside your window 24/7, but it's still just a couple short blocks from Bourbon St if you want, so it's really convenient. Again my call was not answered. Someone did reach out via text but did not help my problem. Also after my first night I had to switch rooms, they would not hold my luggage so I had to carry my luggage around all day until I could recheck in.

I called the hostel but the voice message said HOSTEL IS TEMPORARILY CLOSED. ı reached Expedia. I cancel my reservation. and find another hotel at last minute. It was so stressful because car parking is very hard in french quart. and after all these things hostel send a mail about CONTACTLESS ENTRANCE REGULATION. but they refund my money.
• Verified traveler (10/5): - This is a great place. Atmosphere is eclectic. Staff members are friendly and helpful. I recommend this property. My stay was comfortable. The only thing that I would suggest is that the they turn the air conditioning cooler it was a bit warm other than that I was very happy with this hostel.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Super friendly, clean, and comfortable - Very friendly staff. They really try to take care of everything you may have forgotten (free earplugs, spare toiletries, travel size toiletries for sale, cooking supplies). I didn’t attend any of the group outings but it seemed like a great way to get to know fellow travelers. If you get a bed in one of the big dorms then know that a new roommate could arrive anytime. I had to figure out how to have all my things for the next day ready to go to try to minimize disturbing others who were sleeping. Most dorms are coed. This has it’s ups and downs. Great way to meet more people or hang with friends who are a different gender. My only 2 complaints were more to do with guests. Complaint #1 The guests coming in with large suitcases at 3am. Complaint #2 Noisy make out sessions and noisy sex. This was only 1 out of 4 nights so probably doesn’t happen often. Do yourself a favor and take the free earplugs just in case.
• Verified traveler (8/5): - It had superb customer service. The lady at the front gave a complete tour of the property so that I would know what was there and she helped me find my lost keycard. It was a little dirty, but that is to be expected in a location with so many people sharing showers, beds, etc so I don't hold it against the hostel. Well worth the price if you are stopping in New Orleans.
