• John Langford (9/5): We had a very pleasant, comfortable and enjoyable stay. - The apartment was spacious and contained all the facilities that we required. The amenities were all modern and clean and the kitchen was well appointed so we were able to cook meals. The refrigerator was large and modern. The apartment had a washing machine and dryer, although we did not need to use these appliances. The location was excellent in being close to the train station and the pub, restaurants and supermarkets. The host at the property was friendly and helpful. Everything was good. I could not find any faults with this property.

• Gaurav (5/5): - Kitchen section only and the location was next to the train station AC wasn’t serviced for a while, Oil heater was not working effectively. The property manage (lady) was unfriendly which is unusual in a hospitality sector. Kitchen chimney was dirty.
• Cath (10/5): Great for travelling families, solo or couples with convenient access to transport and supplies. - Comfortable, spacious, tidy, well equipped, Liz the on-site manager was lovely. Onsite underground parking, 5 minute walk to the train station, 10 minute walk to Woolworths, a pharmacy and a myriad of Asian grocers and food establishments. We thoroughly enjoyed walking through the shopping precinct on Saturday night, sampling from the street food vendors - delicious and super friendly! We had a little trouble with the AC remote being unresponsive (it may need new batteries). The range hood over the stove also needs a good deep clean. Neither were dealbreakers.

• Edmund (8/5): Very good - Clean,great bed,plenty of space and pets allowed was important for us Stairs,30 and another 15 up from carpark.We are 82 and 76,very fit for our age but going up and down three times a day was a workout,especially carting luggage,groceries and a 9 kg dog with an injured leg.Also we booked for 2 weeks and found the amount of crockery,cutlery,very limited.Couldnt use the dishwasher coz we would run out of dishes etc.

• Paul (8/5): Well located, clean and comfortable furnished apartment however need to be mindful of train noise throughout the night. - Room was as described. was clean with all the necessary comforts including a functional kitchen. Location a short walk from Eastwood station and shops was very helpful. Liz the manager was both nice and helpful. Not so much that I didn’t like as I’m half deaf and was able to counter the noise from passing trains nearby however if travelling with others they would be unhappy with the noise throughout the night.

• Andrew (10/5): Precisely what we needed and better than expected. - Pleasantly surprised with the size and cleanliness of the apartment. I had no reason to think otherwise but for the price we were really surprised. Everything functioned well and as needed. We only really used the apartment for sleep or respite between activities so we didn't really use much outside the TV andnsome cutlery and bathroom. Location has lots of food options and places to have a drink, and not far of a drive to the city or sports park. Check in process was easy, welcoming and well explained. Not something the complex can help, but if one is sensitive to noise do be mindful or the nearby train station or neighbour apartment noise coming through walls. We only stayed 2 nights so it wasn't an issue for us personally, only thing I could fault if anything.

The property manager was very rude and aggressive because we were 5 minutes late for the checking in time (8-9 pm) and we arrived at 9:05 pm. The property manager (Liz) was extremely rude and grumpy and she yelled at us, and told us “you have no place to go to to sleep in”. The beds and the sofa had bed bugs as all of us woke up with bites and rash all over the body. Despite telling the host that we want a hyper allergenic unit.

• Robyn (8/5): Relaxing, spacious, perfect for our stay. - I loved the trees in the yard - was nice to sit outside and relax. Being so close to train station as well as shops was great. There was even a great Chinese massage on offer over the road! Needed instructions on using fans and air conditioner- maybe next to remotes. We had trouble with these and being night time we didn’t want to disturb th host.

Bed was comfortable & it was great having a bath. Short walk to shops & train. Felt very welcomed by management. I found it difficult to get used to the sound of trains screaming by… hard getting my luggage up the stairs & ramp after parking my car under building. While I was there it was raining & the steps to carpark were very slippery & rather dangerous…

The apartment was spacious, well-appointed and very conveniently located to the station, eateries and shops. All within a couple of minutes walk. • Avan (8/5): Friends had a nice stay. Good for work or family stays. - I didn't stay there. It was booked for some visiting friends. The unit is a good size, bright and close to amenities. The balcony also faces the main road which is nice. They have washing machine and dryer in the unit, and a full kitchen. It would be great for gathering but they don't allow night parties so you'll have limited options. It would also be great if they had smaller units for just resting and sleeping as some visitors are out visiting places most of the time. It will then be more affordable and suit different purposes. Too close to train tracks so it's a little noisy at night. No night parties allowed. Parking spot is a little too tight. No lifts so if you bring big and heavy luggages, book one on the lower floors.

The apartment was lovely, clean & with all the comforts of home. We had a wonderful stay. There wasn't anything that we didn't like.
• Susan (10/5): We’d definitely stay there again. - Close to everything, easily accessible, comfortable and Liz the host is absolutely amazing and an asset to the establishment. The bathroom had hair all through it upon arrival.
• Erin (9/5): Really enjoyable - We loved the apartment for the price and location! It was perfect for what we needed. So close to the train station for going out. I wish we'd had more time to explore the local neighbourhood as the food smelled so good. The kids wanted to have a bath instead of a shower and the bath was very dusty and the wine glasses looked as if they hadn't been washed from the last guests.

Thank you very much Liz for a wonderful stay, see you soon! - The apartments are exceptionally clean and very elegantly styled with everything provided from luxurious toiletries and washing powder in the laundry to refreshments of tea and coffee all included, Fresh towels and extra linens all provided, All crockery and dinnerware and cutlery and small appliances in the spacious kitchen provided. On our arrival we were upgraded for free by our lovely and gracious host Liz, who went above and beyond and made us and our two cats Boo and Pippi feel very welcomed, Very safe and secure undercover parking is available if you are travelling with your own transport. The apartments are very centrally located with many shops and large supermarkets within walking distance, Highly recommend!

• Belinda (9/5): Excellent value for money, neat and tidy, with helpful staff - Clean and tidy. Had everything we needed. We were changed to a second floor apartment which made it a little more difficult as there’s no lift and we had a lot of heavy luggage, but this was minor and we managed!
• Angela (10/5): Exceptional - We were in Sydney for the Australian Irish dance Championships which were held at Olympic park. Knowing that we would hardly be spending any time in the apartment apart from breakfast and sometimes dinner., i thought it was a waste of money to stay in the village. We had driven up, so getting there wasn't an issue. After I had made the booking, my Mum and Dad decided they would drive down from Brisbane to see us, we therefore had 2 cars here. On checkin, i asked the on site manager for suggestions of where we could park the other car and she was very helpful as was her husband when i asked about the train. The next morning as we were heading to the dancing, she approached me and said, i realised during the night that one of the occupants of the other apartments didn't have a car and told me that i was Welcome to use that spot. If you're a light sleaper, i would reccomend ear plugs, the first night i was woken by a freight train. We will definitely be back, if we are up here for dancing again. I had read some reviews about the friendliness of management, after i booked the apartment, I was still surprised at just how accomodating they were and would certainly reccomend the accomodation based on that alone

If they tell the floor while booking it would be great because there is no lift so if you have more luggages it would be hard

• Verified traveler (10/5): - My family enjoyed their stay here at Eastwood Furnished Apartments! It was so close to the station and the location is perfect; around 35 minutes train to Central. Service was great and Liz made checking in a breeze.
• May (8/5): I enjoyed it & would return - Location is near a train station & also easy to drive into Sydney, Bondi & Blue Mountains. And the apartment was spotlessly clean & had off street parking. Eastwood identifies itself as Korea Town so most restaurants serve Asian foods mostly meat based. Unfortunately my grandchildren are vegetarian so very little on offer for them. But I loved it and made friends with Uni at Nodaji where I bought freshly made tofu sushi for grandchildren’s breakfast.

• Ericson (8/5): We loved Sydney and all it has to offer. Eastwood Furnished Apartments made it all possiible. - Liz was there in her apartment to check us in and give us the keys. She continued to be helpful whenever we needed help with anything. Column heater in bedroom kept us super warm. Aircon in living area kept us warm in that part of the apartment. the apartment was kept clean and tidy and we were able to keep it that way with the provision of a vacuum and sweeping tools to tidy up periodically We enjoyed the fact that this is an ethnic area of Sydney with many Asian restaurants and grocery stores. The people were very polite and gentile in Eastwood. thank you to all of Eastwood for a wonderful stay. This apartment mad it possible for my whole family of 5 adults to stay in Sydney close to trains and buses and not break the piggy bank. The stove was faulty with 2 hotplates having only 2 settings: Off and HI heat, nothing in between. We heard this was a common problem and have experienced it at other holiday houses as well. The dryer was faulty with a problem drying the clothes. Moisture dripped from the left foot of the dryer as is struggled to dry the moist clothes. It seemed that something was plugging the exhaust vent so the warm moist air had nowhere to go. Shower is a tight fit so that you sometimes bump the cold glass wall of the cubicle. Ouch! I mean it was cold- as it is winter here right now.
