• Raymond (1/5): They completely misrepresented the hotel and it was one of the worst hotels that I have stayed at. - Nothing The photos completely misrepresented the hotel. They used pictures from other hotels, and it looked nothing like the photos. It was dirty, mouldy, and smelly. The owner talked to me through the webcam and wouldn't come down to talk to me about the room condition and the fact that the photos didn't match the hotel.

• Chiara (6/5): Buona la posizione ma per i non pretenziosi - L'hotel e vicino all lago occidentale e alla via dello shopping Qinghefang a piedi. Ha la lavatrice che paghi con alipay/wechat. La camera era abbastanza grande. Abbiamo avuto delle difficoltà con il phon della nostra camera e lo staff non è stato di aiuto per risolverlo. La lavatrice è in un locale ad accesso libero dalla strada, chiunque può venire a usarla. Le facilities dell'hotel sono un po' vecchie. Lo staff non è sempre presente alla reception, bisogna chiamarlo o contattarlo su wechat.

The staff were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to assist us, even carrying our luggage up the steep stairs and helping load it into the taxi. The staff member we interacted with spoke English and was very helpful in guiding us to the lake and recommending lunch options. The hotel is definitely value for money. We only stayed for a few hours during our transit, but the experience was pleasant overall. Nothing to complain for this price.

The walls were dirty and dusty. No toiletries and no towels, this was not specified in the advertisement. Someone was smoking during the night even if it was prohibited. Beds were not comfortable. Not worthy, not even for a night.

• Ivor (3/5): Smelly Hangzhou memory - We thought it was well situated between Westlake and shopping village Hard to find as the foyer is up a steep flight of stairs. Manager kindly assisted with bags. Rather smelly...from tobacco....people smoke heavily and that smell is old and heavy. Difficult to breathe. Walls are really thin and some guests were dreadfully noisy at all hours of the night. Our host was messaged stating we had overlapped a night and would not arrive- would not refund that night. Then we were charged at the hotel when we arrived. Only afterwards we saw that credit card had been debited for the stay. Very overpriced for what we received. Would not recommend staying at this place.

Smoking seemed yo be allowed inside and i smelled cigarett:( Also i had expected there was a staff who spoke English but actually the staff at the reception didn't speak English at all.

• Đinh (6/5): Good enough hostel but bad experience due to my roommates. - The location is pretty convenient. With an affordable price, the size and facilities of the room is fine enough. My roommates were weird, rude, noisy and impolite. I believe they know each others before I come. There was one guy trying to take my money, the other one keep making noise "just to annoy me" after I told him to keep silent during the night time. I tried texting to receptionist to change to another room but no one replied.

The hotel is also located conveniently near West Lake, though it was hard to tell the driver the hotel name in English (better to use the address). Overall for the price paid, it's fine. The towels presented to be clean, but there were holes in them. The bathroom had a semi-translucent glass facing the bedroom in a twin room, which could be awkward for guests. The hot water was also inconsistent. The hotel wifi requires some log-in that is complicated and when connected, was weak.

Can't expect too much for the pricing paid. No lift, closet for clothes & water in the hotel. Got to lug luggage up the staircase. Only 1 clothes hanger available at back of the main door of the room. Pls bring your own hangers if u want to air your clothes 😂

The toilet paper and liquid shower soap were not provided at first (we need to ask the reception) and the room seems very humid and smells awful. We need to buy an air freshener from a convenience store. However, we are provided with umbrellas when it rains outside. Service and room preparedness. Humid and awful smell. Careless staff.
• Alfred (8/5): Good value, pleasant stay ! - Pleasant stay, my flight was delayed so the guy at the entrance stayed up late to let me do my check-in. They were in the middle of renovations during my stay, but works only started around 9am and did not wake me up. The room and amenities were sufficient for the very reasonable price, and the location of the hotel was perfect for me, 10mn walk away from the lake district while still being close to a metro station. They kept my bag for me while I explored the city on the last day. The halls smelled like cigarettes, thankfully the room itself didn't. Wifi was pretty bad, could not watch any streaming video. Definitely not high-speed. Other than that, lorem ipsum dolor sit amet.

The receptionist was very nice and friendly.. easy-quick check-in, comfy beds.. Great experience Overall! - The room was quite cold, AC not so efficient. - The water in shower was not hot enough and the water pressure is quite low.

It is close to Exit A of Ding'an Road at the subway station and takes about 6-7 minutes to walk. 3. The surrounding supermarkets and restaurants are convenient and close to the pedestrian street and West Lake. 4. The WIFI signal in the room is good, and each room has an independent network. 5. Luggage can be checked out for free, and the store will help to take care of it. 6. High cost-effectiveness. NO

• Chiara (6/5): Pleasant - Perfect location, super close to the West Lake, to several night markets and street food spots. It is also located in a very cool street with many halal restaurants and bars. The staff was very friendly. The whole place very often smelt like smoke which can be unpleasant for some guests. The room was very unclean, they give fresh towels and empty trash bins in the room every day but the floors and walls are dirty. Room did not correspond to pictures at all. The walls are super thin so you could hear noises from outside the room and other rooms near it.

Stains and rubbish on the walls. Unclean floor and carpet. Stank of cigarettes. Flies everywhere (alive and dead). Bed springs digging into you while you try and sleep.
