Abhishek (9/5): Spacious comfortable accommodation in beautiful Penneshaw. - Great location in Penneshaw - fantastic view of the expanse of the ocean from the balcony, very close to the ferry terminal, marina and pristine Hogs Beach. The house is well-appointed with very comfortable.beds, plenty of space and a well-equipped kitchen. A cot, high chair, plenty of toys and even wet wipes were provided for our toddler. There are several minor maintenance issues in the house. While Penneshaw is beautiful and convenient area and the starting point of marine adventures, be mindful that most land-based adventure activities are in Kingscote, more than 100 km away.

Karen (9/5): Almost perfect - The property was just as described and was comfortable and clean. The view was fabulous. I don't have a problem with cleaning up after myself and I actually like to leave a property tidy. However, the bbq had to be cleaned before we could use it which was annoying especially as the information said that we'd get charged if it wasn't left clean.

Clau (10/5): Excellent location with great ocean views and all the comfort of a home away from home. - Excellent location and great ocean views. The townhouse was fully equipped for a family to cook their meals and enjoy a peaceful holidays. Car park was outside in a funny angle, but it was fine.

Yu Qing (8/5): - This two-story apartment is very close to the ferry terminal, and you can have a barbeque on the balcony. The scenery is also very beautiful. I hope the hygiene work can be done better, especially the cleaning of the bathroom and bath towels and face towels.

The host provided everything we could possibly need — handwash, soap, shampoo, wipes, cleaning spray, tea, coffee, and more. A morning walk to the penguin viewing platform or the ferry terminal was simply wonderful.

Ceciley (10/5): - We had a lovely stay whilst waiting for our ferry back to the mainland. It is huge and had a great view of the wild seas. A short walk away from the local pub, cafes and supermarkets. The owners were very accomodating of our booking (made just a few hours before check in), and they made sure everything was set up and ready for us. Will definitely stay there again when I back on KI.

Helen (8/5): Very relaxing, which is what I needed. I've been recently had some health issues, but felt happy, s - The property was huge and very spacious. Plenty of bedrooms for a whole family. The views were gorgeous and it was wonderful to wake up to the ocean waves and seeing dolphins every morning. The proximity to sealing was fabulous and nothing seemed too far away. My partner and I only used the upstairs area, and were barely there because there was so much to see and do but we loved our stay and would definitely go back again. The upstairs sliding door - right hand side - felt like it wasn't on the rails properly which made it hard to open let alone close, so we left it closed. The kettle needs replacing as there seems to be a lot of rust inside. I found one bowl that hadn't been washed properly. Took photo just in case. Sink tap in ensuite seems to be leaking slowly. I guess these are more maintenance issues.
Kate (10/5): Outstanding accomodation with a great host! - The view was outstanding, the facilities were excellent. The quality of sheets and towels. Attention to detail: quality toilet paper, shampoo and conditioner provided etc. Close to pub, cafes and IGA. They even had a fishing rod to use. The BBQ was excellent but was not a 8 person size it was a Weber Q, it was not a problem and cooked perfectly. The host was responsive and accomodating! Nothing!!

Lakshika (10/5): A perfect seaside getaway with stunning views, incredible wildlife, and unbeatable convenience. - This property is in a fantastic location, right on the seafront and just 3–4 minutes’ drive from the ferry terminal. The convenience of being within walking distance to the visitor information center and local shops made our stay incredibly easy and enjoyable. From the front balcony, we could see dolphins and whales, which was an unforgettable experience. The sunsets were absolutely amazing, and the views overall were stunning. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area! If we could access the garage. It would be good . But it’s not an issue . Just a suggestion .

Beautiful view of Christmas Cove from the living areas. Kitchen and Laundry was well equipped. Lovely and clean on arrival with plenty of towels. Our host Ellie was super helpful. Its on the main road to the ferry so can be a bit noisy early in the morning.

Jinshen (8/5): Overall it’s not bad. - modern and spacious Sound proofing is not very good. Next door neighbours were playing loud music on the balcony which is right next to my bedroom. Fortunately they were nice and reasonable people and stopped after I talked to them. When they talked inside their house using reasonable volume, I can still hear fairly clearly. It’s more about the quality of the building. Maybe going forward the owners of both properties can make house rules clear about sound.

Jane (9/5): Everything about Kangaroo Island exceeded my expectations and the apartment was so ideally located - The property totally exceeded expectations. It was ideally located an easy ten minute walk to the centre of Penneshaw, directly opposite the Visitor Centre. The views were spectacular and the balcony was perfect for afternoon sundowners. There was parking at the rear of the property which was convenient. Despite being on a main road it was very quiet. There was only three mismatched wine glasses, plenty of champagne flutes but only three wine glasses which was fine for us as we were only three people but we were supposed to be four and the property can easily accommodate 8 people. First world problem.
