Bed was fine andcthe value for this higer end budget hotel was outstanding. Hot and cold breakfast choices were better than average for budget hotels. Would be able to give our stay a 5 if not for mold in corner of shower and dirty bath drain. This was somewhat off-putting. Would stay again for the value.

The bracket to keep the door in a closed and locked position was missing. The door entry opposite the main doors would not recognize the room key to let in. Overall, the room was clean, roomy, and we got much-needed rest.

- Shirley (10/5): Great stay!! - I spent one night with my husband and the stay was excellent. The room was very reasonably priced, friendly staff, modern, clean accommodations. I can't say enough about the stay. Others talk about being near a truck stop but you don't notice it. It is on the outskirt of Bryan and there is currently road construction but if you want to be near attractions with the same accommodation, you will pay 3 or 4 times as much and not be as pleased. I would look forward to staying here again. I hesitated telling othets about this little jewel - now everybody will want to come.

- Bianca (6/5): - When we checked in, we didnt receive the room we asked for which was 2 queens. We were so tired we just kept the king room. We walked in and it smelled SO bad. It was like the never cleaned it. It was late, so we didn't say anything. In the morning, only I had hot water. My son and husband barely even had water come out. Giselle was great and got us a new room and even let us switch later because we were late for my son's game. The second room was better, but smelled like smoke even though it ssys non smoking.

- Janelle (2/5): Do not make a reservation here - I made a reservation one month prior to my stay and chose to pay at hotel when arriving. I arrived at 4:45 PM ready to check in, when I was confronted by the receptionist saying that my reservation had been canceled by the owner of the hotel that very morning. When I asked for an explanation, I was told well it’s a busy weekend here in Bryan, Texas and because you did not call ahead to let us know that you were coming he went ahead and canceled your room and several others. All because he wasn’t sure that we would show up or not. When I asked if they had any rooms I was told yes but the rate had Significantly changed. Because the owner is so overcome with pure greed, we chose to not stay there. The receptionist let me know I was the fourth person to show up that day with the same exact problem so if you have made it this far, I recommend that you do not waste your time making a reservation at this property.

Then we received our next room which we had people knock to come in cause it was there room. Very unorganized and unsafe that keys would open door for more guess assign to room by miscommunications

In our room, there was water accumulation behind and around the toilet due to a toilet tank leak. Had a room with two queen beds, only one night table, rather than a second night table on the side of one. There was ample room for it. The employees were great.

- Clark (2/5): - My initial reservation was to stay in a hotel in Hearne , Texas but you didn't have what I wanted there but you did offer the Sleep Inn in Franklin, Texas per your website, but when I made a reservation to stay there , the confirmation showed that it was a Sleep Inn in Bryan , Texas and your website declined my attempt to cancel due to this mistake. Consequently , I'm now being charged $77.84 because of this error. I did ,eventually , make another attempt to stay in The Franklin Inn and Suites succesfully for a charge of $91.95. Please make this right by refunding the $77.84 charge.
- Jerry (6/5): Not for me - The hotel itself was very nice walking in. The room itself was very nice. The smell of the room was through the roof horrible. We bought Febreeze to help with the smell and that did not help. It was not cigarette smoke it was moldy, dirty carpet smell. You could smell all the other people smell before you. Made it very uncomfortable to rest smelling all other people before you scents.

- Clayton (6/5): Given a key to an occupied room - Check in was awful. Arriving late at night we were given a key card for a room that was already occupied. Unknowing we entered the room and turned on the light waking up the people in the room. This clearly startled them and us to say the least. After getting yelled at we apologized, turned the light back off and quickly exited the room. The front counter staff apologized to us but ultimately blamed the accident on other staff members from earlier in the evening and gave us another key card for a different room.

- Kimberly (4/5): - When for the weekend and was given an adjoining room. First time I had been in a type of room like that. Everything was fine until the last night I stayed there. Woke up in the middle of the night to someone from the adjoining room coming into my room and startled me and immediately left as soon as I woke up. Thinking i was dreaming I got up and when to check the latch on the connecting door and sure enough it was unlatch and I know for sure it was closed before I went to bed. Needless to say I did not sleep the rest of the night. Def would no recommend the type of room I was given nor do I feel comfortable to ever stay in this type of room or hotel ever again

The floor lamp was some what broken and leaned over. Trim on the dresser was broken and missing. There were only two bath towels when I am used to two per person. The bed squeaked when you got in or up. The elevator floor buttons numbers were worn away. The lock on side door didn't open half the time. The rest of the room was clean. The desk clerk that checked us in in the early afternoon was unfriendly. My husband said simply due to her attitude he would never stay there again.

The sofa bed didn’t have any bedding except for a blanket. No sheets and no pillows other than the couch throw pillows.

We ran completely out of scrambled eggs, breakfast meat, yogurt, eating utensils, and white bread for toast. There was NO fresh fruit offered. I was a bit disappointed in this breakfast and the service.

- Kellie (10/5): Nice Hotel - Really surprised, I am usually loyal to another hotel brand but the prices in the College Station area were absolutely obscene (and I love a getaway splurge)…but went here bc our focus this trip was on spoiling our daughter. This place is not fancy…but it is clean, safe, warmly staffed and has great coffee! We were by the elevator and the room was quiet…obviously the manager is on their game bc we saw happy staff and well stocked/clean facilities. Is it luxury? No. Is it a safe, clean, comfy place to stay in a WAY overpriced market…YES!

There's a small truck stop/gas station right next door with a Denny's restaurant that was very good for late night dinner. The pool was cloudy with "stuff" floating around in it but other than that, I'd definitely stay again. We were in town for a baseball tournament in Franklin Ranch and it was just a short 30min drive.

- PONG (10/5): Great place. Keep it that way. - We spent two nights here. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The building is fairly new and our room was great. Walking around the building, we noticed that the garden areas needed weeding rather badly, and many of the light fixtures on the fence were missing their tops which tended to be laying in the plant bed or inside the fence. Attention to details like these go a long way to keeping the place looking good. Also, the door at the north end of the building nearly had to be ripped off its hinges to get it open from the outside, even though the green light came on and you could hear it unlatch. Again, attention to details.
