- Michael (4/5): - The cabin was cozy but no TV The restaurant food was cold with no flavor and waitress didn't care about how our meal was ! Had to get our own salt and pepper and extra napkins ! In other words poor service ! Room manager wouldn't let us in at 2:00 said they were still cleaning room but nobody was around any of the 4 cabins we were going to stay in! There were shorts in the electric in bathroom the receptable wasn't working !
- Sherley (4/5): - I entered a room that was already occupied prior to my arrival, although I arrived hours after check-in. The bed was unkempt, the trash was full. All of the towels were used. No one bothered to clean the room before my arrival, I had to go next door to the laundry for fresh towels. Extremely poor service. The TV, heater, fan, refrigerator, shower, and lighting were okay, however the microwave didn’t work and there was a power outage on the property one of my nights there.
- Janece (8/5): - Enjoyed our stay but definitely on the rustic side. The overall property is showing some signs of “aging” and perhaps a lack of adequate staff/resources. Gorgeous view. Had a very nice meal at the onsite restaurant for dinner. No TV. Some RVs on site as well.
- Juanita (8/5): - The cabin was good and pretty clean. However either too hot or no heat. Loved the on site laundry and the restaurant was delicious. However the second night they decided to close the restaurant and there was absolutely nothing else closer than 45 minutes away. Luckily we had a few groceries and could eat dinner The view was picture perfect.

- Valerie (10/5): - This was the perfect spot to stay when we visited Crater Lake. We are already looking forward to coming back next year to explore more around here. We stayed in the hotel. They have five rooms. The resort also has individual cabins and campsites. Everything was clean. They do an excellent job of making it feel cozy. The camp store has snacks, some camping gear, fishing supplies, etc. for purchase at a reasonable price. They also have DVDs you can borrow for free which came in handy because two afternoons we were there it rained. The restaurant also has really quality food and has a beautiful view to look at while you eat. The guy who ran the store as well as the servers in the restaurant were all very friendly. We really couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The only thing to note is the restaurant does seem to close early without notice. Our last night there, we wanted to eat a later dinner so we walked up at 7:30 but the door was locked even though the sign says they’re open every day 5-8pm. No big deal, I wouldn’t expect a place like this to stay open if no customers were there, but something to note if you’re planning on a later dinner because there’s no restaurants close by the resort.
- Erin (4/5): - There were smashed bugs all over the ceiling. The second blanket for the bed was crumpled up and had clearly not been washed. The shower had hair on the floor had also not been cleaned.

The cabin needs an update or some attention paid to fixing things inside the cabin. The highlight was that the food in the restaurant was good but the service was slow.

I love the shared history, you can see it in the rooms as well as general areas of the property. Booking was straight forward and easy. Close enough to nature areas and hikes. Absolutely no complaints.
- Sunny (8/5): - Great stay at Rocky Point Resort, my dog and I stayed in one of the cabins which was cozy but plenty of space for the two of us! A/C came in handy when I wanted to explore Crater Lake and dogs aren’t permitted along the trails there. I knew he was safe and cool at the cabin. The restaurant was very convenient and really delicious!

- Constance (8/5): - The cabin was actually very nice for a campground cabin. It had all the linens, a microwave, a kitchenette, and a restaurant in the campground. That ended up being very fortuitous because there is nothing in the area. To get to a grocery store, you would have to drive at least 40 minutes.

- David (6/5): Rustic and dated - Hard to figure out what to do, no place to go to check in. Walked into the restaurant to ask, and the server pointed to a guy at one of the tables who could help us check in. Lots of mosquitoes, make sure to bring bug spray!

Had to call office and someone reluctantly came to check us in. Bathroom floor was not clean. Linen and towels were very good . Restaurant was also good with good service for our meal. Overall the resort is tired looking

Cleaning of the bathroom could be better and as we needed accommodation for four people it would have been better to have had 4 made up beds, or the ability to do this ourselves. We had a double and a single and our youngest son used a sofa bed with a blanket to cover him.
- Patricia (6/5): Cabin sta - Resort had a Resturant that had water views and many food options. Service was very good and food was tasty. The area is in the woods that provides cabins and camping options with great views. The cabin we stayed in was older and clean however there were many spider webs throughout. In addition there was an issue with mosquitos granted we were in the woods near water but the mosquitos were already in the room which made for an uncomfortable night.

- Becky (10/5): - We had a great stay at Rocky Point Resort. We stayed in a room that was exactly as advertised. It was perfect for the two of us. We were able to easily rent a canoe for an afternoon adventure in the marsh. It was an easy drive to Crater Lake National Park. The manager even found a personal item we had left behind and sent it home to us. We would definitely consider staying there again if our travels take us back!!! Highly recommend!

- Anthony (6/5): - Very nice being by the lake. Don't expect anything fancy though. I would call this a fishing camp, not a resort. Also, the "resort" should say prominently that the rooms are not air conditioned. All in all, we enjoyed our stay.
- Cody (6/5): No ac, but did have a heater for wintertime. - There is no ac in the cabins. They had a small fan for you to use. There were numerous spiders in the corners but they won't bother you. Kind of hot until the middle of night. Shower is a one person. The bed was hard in my opinion and the pillows were flat.

It’s the perfect rustic cabin for people who aren’t quite ready to camp yet! We were only there for a quick stay but we will definitely be going back!

- debra (8/5): - Rocky Point is a very sweet property with some great possibilities. Overall it’s very nice, but still needs a few things updated to bring my rating up. Most importantly to me was the pillows on my bed were like sleeping on a hard flat pancake. Things like some painting in the bathroom, an extra blanket in the room would put it over the top. I loved the quaintness of the property.

- juana (2/5): - 1 star hotel. No heat no one explained how to work heater. The knob was completely missing. There was asign every where explaining what not to do nothing on how the heater works. You would think with all the signs in the room one would point on how to use heater. It was 27 degrees we just left in the midddle of the night and went home. Waste of money effort and time. Host was a bit creepy aswell. I would rather tent camp than stay here again.i do not recommend to stay here. Buy a tent and a sleeping bag your better off.

The heater can't be regulated and it was either too hot or too cold in the room. The place is nice though with a beatiful lake view and lots if birds to watch. Breakfast is not included and we had to drive 20 miles to get anything to eat. Bring your own snacks.

We were able to shower and head to town for dinner. We stayed 4 nights as we were exploring Create Lake National Park. We highly recommend this place and will stay again weekend we return to Oregon ! 🙏 AAA

- Wilbert (8/5): - Our stay there was very nice. The room we had was rustic and clean, and we enjoyed it very much. The campground was clean, Peaceful and quiet. The Camp Ground store attendant was very friendly and informative regarding activities around the Camp Ground. They have a restaurant/bar that opens at five and closes at nine I think. We were sitting on the deck of the restaurant when it opened and the waitress came out and saw I had a drinking mug on the table. First words were you’ll have to dump that out. We don’t allow drinks brought in. I finished the drink and then we ordered, an appetizer and some drinks. Shortly, there after another group came in with two bottles of wine a bottle of water, a bottle of something else some snacks and pet. The waitress never said anything about their drink or did she say anything about the pet? There’s a sign as you walk in that says pets not allowed , not sure why they were different than we were but I guess they were above the rules. Did not sit with me I would recommend going there👍👍👍

- Andy (4/5): - The view is great, especially sunrise over the lake, and camping with an RV is probably fine. But the condition of the cabin, at least the one we were in, was complete filth. The floor sloped towards the door, nothing had been cleaned or washed in months. The dishes, couch, and especially the floor were covered in thick drifts of dog hair and grime. Not worth the time or money to rent a cabin here.

- Terry (10/5): Amazing resort - Our stay was very short as we arrived later than planned. I called to let them know. Danielle said the office will be closed when you are, just call this number when you get here and I'll come to the office and get you checked in. She checked us in and escorted us to our room. Went to our room to make sure we were able to open the door. The room was clean, beef was comfortable. We stumbled into this resort and so grateful we did. So beautiful at this resort. If you've never been and love fishing and the out doors. Make this a destination.
- Katya (2/5): - Terrible customer service at a level I haven’t experienced in any other accommodation before. Poor communication from the start - checkin instructions were not sent until the night of check in after I got service and had to call multiple numbers myself to get in touch with someone, and only after attitude where I had to keep insisting that I never received an email. That was all fine but when we got there late at night, we found our room had not been cleaned from the previous guests at all. There was nobody on the property to help us. I tried a direct line for the property manager which got ignored multiple times. I also called more than one posted emergency number, all went to voicemail. What’s the point of having an emergency line if nobody picks up? We had to book another hotel at the last minute at 10 pm for that night and drive half an hour back the way we came from. Only got a text more than 2 hours later saying we can be moved to another room (too late). Then more gaslighting as if I exaggerated or lied about the situation when I clearly had photos of the rooms condition and time stamps for messages. Was told I would get a refund which was never sent to me and my follow up was ignored, so ultimately I had to dispute the charge with my bank to get my money back.
- Catherine (10/5): Comfortable nostalgia with Wi-Fi - Really nice and helpful staff, comfortably rustic lodge environment, lovely sunsets, delicious dinner and great beer selection. Lovely <1 hour drive to Crater Lake NP and to Klamath Falls in the other direction.
- Maria (10/5): - This is my 2nd year staying at this resort and I have been pleased with our accommodations. They are very clean and the area is quiet at night. We bike ride around the area and kayak. I will definitely continue to stay here when I am in the area.

- Parijat (10/5): - Great place nestled in Lake Klamath. The owners and managers are all amazing, kind, helpful and responsive. We rented 2 cabins for 2 families. They were very well stocked with everything we needed. We enjoyed the rustic living. Having a boat ramp and rentals right on the site is a huge plus too. If you are visiting Crater lake, it is one of the closest location to stay. Pretty cool spot and will certainly want to come back again.

The room is small and simple but quiet and comfy. There is a refrigerator but no ac and hair dryer. Store/gas is 3-mile away. Restaurant is on-side.

Probably couldn’t keep the current prices if more staff were hired so there is a trade off. Location is beautiful and food was really good at the restaurant with an amazing view. We are there both nights (Angela was terrific). We rented a boat but it really didn’t go very fast and the seaweed made me uncomfortable. We got stuck once and were lucky to get the motor going again. I would definitely stay here again as the price was awesome for what you get in return. Very short drive to Crater Lake and the surrounding areas.

Canoing the Klamath, the dudes working were cool and friendly, the chick that waited on us on the open deck overlooking the lake and viewing the mountains was awesome and knowledgeable on the local drinks, but the dude in the store was our favorite. He was so very helpful and friendly. Ill go back just to rent a canoe, fish and dine if its allowed. Great place to spend chilling out.
- Len (4/5): - The property is beautifully located on the water and the restaurant and staff were great. Most of the spots were for mobile trailers/homes with hookups. There also is a 5 room hotel closer to the entrance road away from the water which we stayed in. Parking was easy and available near our unit. Communication was good with door access code and map sent the day of our arrival by text. That being said a group of folks who stayed in the two rooms next to us ruined our stay by Bbqing and talking on the front porch in front of their rooms and ours well past 2am. Even after my wife asked them to quiet down they continued to make noise. While I believe this place is a nice place they need to enforce quiet hours which are listed as 10pm-7am with fines up to $500 for breaking the rules. No one from management responded to my text back on the room access code notification text chain. Again I think it’s a nice place but ask for quiet hour enforcement when you arrive.
- Adam (6/5): - The room was fine. When we arrived after a long day at Crater Lake we were ready for a shower and bed. We were informed that the “hotel rooms” didn’t have hot water because the water heater broke and that we’d have to shower in the campground showers. Inconvenient for sure but not the end of the world. They did give us quarters to shower with. However the men’s shower was so nasty covered in bugs and cobwebs with bugs that I spent several minutes just splashing them down off the walls of the shower so I could use it. Hard to get a clean feeling in a shower covered in bugs. Now mind you this is the common use camp shower not the hotel room shower which seemed fine in room (just no hot water). My wife reported she did NOT have the same experience in the women’s camp shower. That is was fine…. I contacted th property and gave them ample time to respond to me about a partial refund. They have not contacted me or offered anything besides 8 bucks in quarters. There are other accommodations in the area. It may not feel/look like that when searching from afar but 140 store has a nice looking motel and lake of the woods isn’t that far away and had options. So don’t feel like this place is the only place around because it ain’t. Would I stay again? Probably not. But it’s mostly because they won’t do the right thing and offer a partial refund. Not because that e accommodations were bad. But not having hot water in the bathroom for showers is kind of a deal breaker for us.

- Weitao (2/5): - No service at all. The power went out for a couple of hours. Checked with the staff, said happened often and don’t know when the power can be back. The room became hot and uncomfortable with lots of mosquitoes. The electricity was back on around 2am in the morning.
- Mustafa (10/5): - Beautiful lakeside property. We stayed as a family of 4 and rented a pontoon for 4 hours and went fishing. It’s definitely outdated and you’re going to want to have bug spray, but they sell everything you need at the shop and there’s a restaurant. Perfect for a 2 night stay with a family or longer if solo or couple.
- Mike (10/5): - Okay, there were lots of mosquitos and we were eaten alive, but what can you expect from a cabin on a lake? The restaurant food was very good. Danielle went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure our reservation and dining options were intact. The rest of the staff, housecleaning, etc., were totally helpful and friendly. Next time we visit Crater Lake, we will definitely revisit Rocky Point Resort!

- Anneli (10/5): - What a little gem of a lake side resort. Rustic and remote, spotlessly clean and super friendly people. They have a little restaurant and kayaks/boats etc for rent for a day on the big lake. Definitely recommend
- Harsh (6/5): - As a camping place or a place to park an RV this was probably OK but as a hotel room it was not great. Almost no dining options for miles around so one has to pretty much carry one’s own food. Water was not safe for drinking so one has to carry one’s own drinking water. Lots and lots of huge mosquitoes so one cannot leave the door open even for a few seconds in case they get in and trouble you all night.

- Nancy (8/5): - At checkin I was given the wrong door entry-code. I am mobility challenged, so by the time I got back to the office to get a correct code, personnel had changed. The new office worker literally laughed at my being given the wrong code. I explained I did not see the humor. Once in the room, it had overpowering stench of cleaning solvents. I was told they just finished a “deep cleaning”. Their cleaning staff did go over the room w water & towels trying to dilute the chemical residue plus I left windows open all night. My dog & I still got diarrhea from toxic fumes. Otherwise it is a delightful location & facility. Yes, I would go back.

- Craig (10/5): - Very quiet. Really liked the property and the location. for those who aren't familiar, it really is a great RV park with a few single cabins and a few hotel rooms. We took a hotel room. Big issue is TV service. The restaurant only serves dinner from 5 to 8 pm. The food was very good and more than we two seniors could eat. Sat outside the restaurant for several hours enjoying the location. Would certainly stay again. The least liked feature, over 30 miles from town and restaurants.
- Jessica (10/5): Really special staff and location - Super cute, comfy, and clean room. Staff was over the top welcoming and friendly. They really are what makes this place what it is. I loved the super friendly kitty on the property! Location was beautiful and amazing.
- Rosalind (10/5): - Rocky Point Resort is one of those places where you either understand the magnificence of the location and its uniqueness, and the extraordinary opportunities to view and commune with wildlife…..or you just don’t get it. I stay in one of the 6 hotel rooms when I am here, and right outside my window are 8-9 old growth Ponderosa Pines and Hemlocks. Just beyond those is the lake where so many varieties of birds call home. River otters swim there in the early mornings. Canoes come and go through the Canoe Trail. Paddle boats, kayaks, rowboats….It is so quiet that you wonder if such quiet is possible. The RV owners and campers are so very respectful and experienced. The deck around the restaurant has 180 views of the lake and a few snow capped peaks (as of late June). So many happy kids! If there are any problems, I just don’t see them. There is no TV. There is no cable. This is a joy and adds to the silence and relaxation. There IS WIFI….. Remember you are booking a stay in a rustic setting that is for outdoors people. This is not an International Destination with Michelin stars. It is a step back in time to a wonderful life, pre social media and with a vibe like you see in 1900 photos with happy campers. Not a single leaf blower, no play-list blaring, just the sound of wind in the Aspens and birds.
