• CHAO (5/5): - 酒店的位置以及风景都很好，我非常喜歡。 1、员工的服务态度太差了，办理入住时要求要高楼层及安静的房间，答曰：沒有高楼层的房间了（事实上入住很低）。我在众多的渡假酒店里选择入住贵酒店，我沒有好的体验，那么我以后也不会再來、我的朋友、亲人也不会来，久而久之就是更少人会选择入住这间酒店。我影响的兩天的渡假体验，但是贵酒店影响的是生意兴衰。双赢才是发展导向。 2、地处偏僻的地方，房价不包含早餐就有点不能理解了。 3、游泳池竟然沒有救生員也沒有毛巾，到前台拿了一条，却是有污漬的。

• Andreas (10/5): Hervorragendes Hotel direkt am Meer mit super Aussicht - Also ich finde das Arterra Hotel einfach spitze und erstklassig! Ich kann einige Bewertungen die hier zum Teil abgegeben werden nicht verstehen! Ich habe keine Schäden, wie heruntergefallene oder zersprungene Platten oder ähnliches gesehen. Ich finde das Hotel ist top in Schuss, sauber und gut gepflegt! Ich war mehrmals hier und bekam jedes Mal ein super schönes, grosses, sehr ruhiges Zimmer, mit einer grandiosen Aussicht. Es hat sehr gut verdunkelbare Vorhänge, eine sehr gute Klimaanlage und eine tolle Minibar. Hervorheben möchte ich den grandiosen Meerblick und den tropischen Garten mit den Palmen und natürlich dem tollen Swimming Pool. Ich habe es sehr genossen auch spät Abends hier sein zu dürfen, um die Sterne und den Mond über dem weiten Meer zu bestaunen. Gerade die Ruhe hat mir sehr gut getan und ich erinnere mich immer wieder sehr sehr gerne an das Arterra Hotel und ich würde sehr gerne wieder kommen. Das Essen und der Service sind sehr gut! Die Sonne verschwindet im Januar um 15 Uhr hinter der Garage, aber es gibt ein tolles Partnerhotel, zu dem es ein Shuttle (nur mit Voranmeldung) gibt. Das einzigste was ich allerdings sagen möchte ist, dass der Balkon zwar eine super schöne Aussicht hat, aber leider nicht zum verweilen einlädt, weil das Balkongeländer zu hoch ist und beim Sitzen die Sicht auf den Horizont blockiert, auch wenn er aus Glas besteht. Es gibt auch keinen Tisch und Stühle auf dem Balkon. Und das Bier finde ich etwas teuer mit 150,- Pisos für ein kleines 0,33 Liter, große gibt es nicht. Und für den Flughafen würde ich wirklich lieber etwas mehr Zeit einplanen und bei der Rezeption einen Tag vorher bestellen. Mein Grab hat leider nicht funktioniert.

Das Hotel ist top in Schuss, sauber und gut gepflegt! Super schönes, grosses, sehr ruhiges Zimmer, mit einer grandiosen Aussicht. Es hat sehr gut verdunkelbare Vorhänge, eine sehr gute Klimaanlage und eine tolle Minibar. Mega Ambiente und super Aussicht am Pool.
• vicki (7/5): Not What I Expected - Good wifi, tv, AC Bathroom and powder room Two private balconies, lovely view Nice pool Very helpful staff, especially EJ Advertised as one bedroom King suite with sofa bed. There is no sofa bed, only a small two seater sofa. I had to ask for a single mattress to be brought in because I was travelling with my adult son, with whom I do not share a bed. They did agree to set up a mattress for me in the living room, but it made it crowded, as I was expecting to be able to fold up the "sofa bed" during the day. The breakfasts were basic, with limited choices when considering the amount of money I spent on this suite with breakfast included. Very disappointing. However, the omlets were ok and pancakes were usually available. When I first arrived, there was some kind of electric current coming through the water in the sink and shower. I was getting electric shocks!! As soon as I called reception to report the problem, a maintenance worker was sent. He sorted the problem immediately, thank goodness. The water pressure in the shower is very poor. The kitchenette only has a small fridge, kettle and a sink. There is no microwave or burner, so there's really no point in having a sink. Small fridges and kettles are fairly standard in most hotels. I expected more from the suite. Although housekeeping were thorough about cleaning, we did see roaches on a daily basis. The location of Arterra Hotel is too far away from anything else... Good for peace and quiet, but difficult to get out and about.... No real atmosphere... We took the shuttle bus to the sister hotel to go to the beach, since Arterra's 'beachfront' is not accessible due to the rocky cliffs. Quite disappointing, not worth the effort....

• Roy (3/5): Not worth it. - The breakfast was very good. All the food was delicious we ordered. We ordered two suites. When we went there they said they would be ready in 10 mins then we came back in 10 mins and they said they over booked us and one of our rooms was bo longer available. So we could only get a standard room. The second suite we booked was not ready yet and we had to wait another hour for them to tell us we couldnt have that room either cause the TV was broken. So we paid for two suites and didnt get either.

• Michael (7/5): Nice quiet out of the way Hotel - This is a nice property with about every amenity and facility you could expect it a big hotel. I felt a little isolated on the end of this peninsula. There’s no restaurants nearby and getting a Grab was nearly impossible. When built this property must’ve been amazing. I think the Covid years have taken their toll. A lot of things have been neglected and are in need of repair. I hope this hotel can live up to its potential. The whole staff was very courteous and I’d like to thank them all.

После 18 часового перелета это была лучшая кровать в мире! Тараканы. Грязно. Окна все в разводах, и в лобби тоже. Такси не дождаться, так как отель в отдалении. У нас был заявлен номер с видом на море. Технически так оно и было, но это был самый некрасивый вид, так как номер на 3 этаже и окна выходили на огромную по площади обшарпанную крышу. Мы бы простили, если бы отель был полон, и других номеров не было, но очевидно, что отель заполнен процентов на 20-30, не более, и персоналу даже в голову не приходит селить в лучшие номера из имеющихся и позаботиться о комфорте гостей, чтобы получать лучшие отзывы и заполнять отель постояльцами.

Buffet breakfast was good though absence of bacon, cereals and fresh milk for beverages was disappointing. Reception staff were efficient and obliging. Lobby staff were exceptionally helpful. The vehicle approach to the hotel from the public highway is primitively surfaced. Large areas of the hotel grounds are poorly maintained. Lack of programmed and day to day property maintenance is evident.

Room was clean but when ask to change sheets and new towels did not even reliad toilet paper? Covid again?? Lol. Staff is excellent and polite. But thought the resort itself would have more amenities. Food was overpriced not bad but nothing worth noting. More amenities.

During our first stay, breakfast was buffet set up. During our 2nd stay, breakfast became plated. The food was still good although I was surprised with the change.

• Nold (10/5): Exceptional - If you want to stay in a quiet and relaxing place, this is a the place to go. The staffs are very accommodating especially to Jack from the concierge department, always greet you good morning and even take a photo of us before we left the hotel. The food is very good and breakfast was buffet. The room was very clean and bed is so comfy, we are definitely coming back.

Great staff service and very welcoming! The bed was comfy and spacious, tea & coffee in the room each morning. They let me have an extra hour in the pool one evening too. It's pretty good value for money. I would probably stay here again. No AC in the gym made it unusable. Location is a bit far away from everything but the trade off is your right on the coast with a beautiful view. Internet connection wasn't the best & the balcony had quite a lot of bird poo on it. But again they can realistically only do so much with that.

• Christopher (1/5): Don’t stay at this hotel it is appalling, it has to be the worst hotel I have ever stayed in - It was awful, main thing was lack of dining, we checked in for 3 nights to get a couple of days R&R before traveling home, on arrival we were told restaurant open from 6.00am to 5.00pm, then told next day till 9.30pm. First day tried to order lunch but they weren't open. Then they told us Restaurant open again from 5.00pm to 7.00pm but only serving (inadequate) breakfast. They offered to order in Mc Donalds or Jolibee, Ironic as the policy they sent when we made the booking says no outside foods allowed Web site shows 24hour room service - they don't have. -Its not as if there are any alternatives close by. • WorldTraveler (4/5): - I will start by saying I have visited the Philippines several times and stayed at many different hotels. It seemed like the issue with this hotel was the management and overall programming. The breakfast was very disappointing. There was plenty of staff as normal in the Philippines except the staff did not serve coffee or anything for that matter. If I had employees already being paid, why wouldn’t I have them serving my guests? There was no music playing in the lobby and the place seemed dry and bland compared to other hotels I stayed at during my trip. I rarely saw any smiles and I just wanted to leave as soon as possible. There were vouchers to access the free WiFi which would disconnect for no apparent reason every other minute or so. That was strange. Not sure why they couldn’t ask for my name and room number as other hotels do. The best part about the place was the view and after talking with the staff for a few minutes their natural Filipino warmth would start to show. It’s almost like the management would ask them not to smile and everyone was very serious looking. I rarely post reviews because I don’t have time but I felt it necessary to share my experience. I think the property has great potential.

• Brian (10/5): Room was fine and great view. Amenities mixed... - The room was adequate and met our needs. The view was outstanding and the pool was nice. There was a "room service" menu, but no instructions on how to contact anything in the hotel. Dialing the typical 0 (zero) for front desk just let it ring and ring, but nobody ever answered and there were no instructions on what numbers to actually call. The gym and "indoor basketball court" HAD air conditioning units, but none of them were turned on. We asked the front desk and they managed to activate the aircon for the exercise room, but stated that they would not turn on air conditioning for the basketball court. Honestly, what's the point of having an indoor basketball court if it is not air-conditioned in the Philippines???

• Rochard (6/5): - Staff was great... problem is rooms and hotel seem not finished... each room has a hot water heater... but its unplugged and up under the sink... took the first shower in with cold water... fit and finish of room is not good... door closer installed wrong that keeps you from opening door and not allow door to close... had to slam door to get it closed... door frame to small as well which did not help. 75% of pool closed. need a cab, they charge you to request one. View great from the rooms as the hotel sits at the point and has 270 % views.
• vetvetbaby (8/5): - For the price this is a very classy place to stay. But its a long way from everything else. Is a good resort to getaway from everything and relax.

• Jeff (6/5): Amazing views, poor management - We've stayed in every 5 Star in Cebu over the last 3 years and there is no question that the upper floors of the Arterra have the best views on Lapu Lapu Island. That said, the place seems to be run by a management team that isn't quite professional. First, do not get the included breakfast, it is quite bad with limited choices and often even stocked out of the basics they have. That said, their restaurant in the lobby has quite good food (though service is breathtakingly slow). Second, the site only has 3 elevators and it is not uncommon to literally wait 2-3 minutes or even longer for an elevator. Additionally, they allow people to walk directly from the pool, through the lobby and onto the elevators dripping wet so the elevators are always filled with pools of water. A final comment is that the way they fitted out the hotel is simply bizarre. They have put absolute top tier furniture in the lobby, then finish the rooms out horribly. There was no hot water in our first room (found out later there is a switch hidden under the counter). The walls of the hotel room are extremely uneven and overall fit and finish was just terrible. Finally, the Arterra is as far as you can possible get from basically anything in Cebu. It's tough to get taxi drivers to take you so far out. All in all, a mixed experience. Polite but inexperienced staff at a beautifully location with poor finishing..
• Verified traveler (2/5): Needs lot of work.... - The hotel looks nice and new. Ask the staff it was completed 2017. Alot of thing this place needs to work on. 1. Staff are not sure of what they are suppose to do. They are very nice. But being nice does n ot mean they are doing good service. 2. For a new condo hotel some area smells like urine. in the pool change/ shower room smelled like urine so bad. 3. They would not allow they guess to bring the pool towels to there room which made us sick. the lobby is cold going up to the elevators in cold conditions. Now i got a cold. 4. They gave us a room with a leaking ceiling took almost an hr for someone to come up and told us to wait another 30 mins. before we got another room. they new room came with a breakfast coupon. a few hrs later a staff was chasing us looking for a coupon said its not part of our recervation. we were thing its was a comp for the room issue and the long waits. 5. No beach front and they call them self a resort. No SPA service not parking for hotel guess. They had us park on the streets and some one hit our car over night. 6. Wifi did not work the stay.
• Gary (2/5): Beautiful place and very nice staff but it's not f - The place advertised WiFi and a convenience store but nothing working. It was not a good experience. But the staff was excellent and after I complained to expedia and got no where i went and talked to the staff myself and they moved me to a sister hotel which was good. I travel lots and never again will I use expedia
• tuck (8/5): poor efficency of front desk julie even i give tip - poor front desk help of arranging taxi. i almost late for airport. Overall staff was friendly. But resto servers are mostly gloomy and not efficient as server not busy also can forget my orders.
• Kriz (6/5): Spoiled Birthday and Wedding Anniversary - objective and constructive criticisms to make your hotel better for your guests to come back: 1. indicate "plated breakfast" in your website and all the travel sites where your hotel is registered. usually breakfast is buffet type in all other hotels 2. indicate "no wifi". my husband and i do online work. internet is important to us. if you already offer free wifi, give your guests the password upon check in 3. make sure your heater and safety vault work properly before your guests check in 4. let the guard check your guest's booking before entering the premises, it's for everybody's safety. they just let us in without checking 5. put a list of "contact numbers" of your hotel department like the front desk in the room. i needed to go out of the room to look for a staff to ask for the number to dial. i tried "0" for housecleaning department as indicated on the paper for toiletries order, they are not answering either
• Nancy (4/5): Advertisements - They need to do a few things in the advertisement of the facility. 1). Location. Location on maps give middle of the town prior to arriving to the hotel. Uber driver spent around 20 minutes turning around and going back and fourth trying to find the place and people never heard of it. Finally found someone that told us it is at the end. This should be stated somewhere so people know. 2) They advertise free internet but took few hours to get the internet and then they kept asking if I purchased the package there is no mention about purchasing a packet. 3). Hotel shuttle. This should be told to the public from the beginning that the shuttle will be quite expensive. To end the staff was very accommodating and the hotel itself is a great location and looks nice. However, they should work on the above.
