- Angelo (10/5): - Breakfast, the host, onsen, clean smell in the bathroom but i just ended up bathing in the sauna
- Liat (10/5): מקום מיוחד, מלא אופי ובטוב טעם - נקי נעים ומעוצב מקסים שום דבר

- Amy (9/5): Great hospitality, fantastic food and great location - We loved the owners hospitality, kindness and eagerness to help and make our stay perfect. The food was outstanding with choice, quality and excellent cooking. The location was practical with a 5-10 minutes walk to the ski slopes. Thank you Kinta & Kenta for introducing us to your family and making our stay a truly memorable one. We will come again! The size of our room wasn't that very big, but once everything was organised, it was fine ! There was nothing else not to like about the Kinta Naeba.
- BB_Yau (10/5): - 离雪场很近,几乎是滑进滑出
- rob (10/5): Great place to stay at Naeba. - The owners were so lovely. The hotel is interesting. Designed by the owner. Breakfast was really good. Small buffet but everything nice. Dinner was good at the hotel too. Special place. Nothing.

- Bernadette (9/5): - Cozy place, it’s a short walk to the lifts. Owner and his father are very hospitable and took care of us well. They have rentals available on site (branded) and cheaper than a nearby hotel. Good breakfast. Bonus that they serve Italian/japanese dinner, good for value. Just a flight of stairs up to the lifts. Owner helped us with luggages so not a problem at all.
- Sherryll (10/5): Lovely cosy stay - It was a great hotel with a lovely onsen and great staff. Also it was very close to the ski slopes. Nothing
- 煒傑 (10/5): - 早餐很不錯
老闆人很好
接駁聯絡迅速 洗澡在另外一棟建築物內
有點不方便
- Joel (9/5): - Very clean, friendly staff, fantastic meals and roasting marshmallows by the fire Nothing
- luz (10/5): We really enjoyed my stay here and the owner, his son and staff were very accommodating - Location: we went to ski. The place was warm and inviting. Feels more like a cabin. The views are beautiful. Dinner and breakfast were amazingly delicious.

- Yan (9/5): Superb -
- Phoebe (10/5): Exceptional - Out second stay here. Had a great stay! Felt very welcomed.
- Fong (9/5): Superb - The owner and the staffs are very kind and helpful. The owner is a graceful old man and can speak good English. Breakfast is delicious. The ski-equipment can be rent from the hotel as well. Well deco hotel. 10 mins walk to the nearest slope but this did not bother us much.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Acceptable - For the amount we paid for the room, the amenities are not really up to the standard in Japan.
- Eric (10/5): Exceptional -
- 君明 (10/5): Nice place! - The interior design is very stylish with mix-culture decoration. Friendly owner. Nice food! Amazing onsen. Warm and cozy loby! 10-15mins walk (depends on the weather and how many equipments you carried) from the hotel to the nearest ski lift
- Fung (7/5): Fine - Warm environment Stairs
- Amadea (10/5): Exceptional - Beautifully designed, rooms were comfortable and the o send were great. We also stayed in for dinner a few nights and were treated to really yummy Italian food with wines selected by the owner himself
- Yuqi (1/5): Do NOT stay here if you expect safety and respect. - The property’s art choice was good but it’s all fake according to the owner. Discrimination and Harassment
We booked Kinta Hotel from the 5th to the 8th but were forced to leave early due to severe harassment from a 70-year-old male staff member. From the 6th, he repeatedly disturbed us with condescending “education.” On the 7th, he aggressively ordered us to move our parked car multiple times and accused us of misusing the lobby, despite us simply sitting quietly.
During the confrontation, he made racist remarks such as:
• “You Chinese don’t understand Japanese rules.”
• “Foreigners should know the rules, we shouldn’t have to teach you.”
• “You don’t have class and don’t deserve to be here.”
He demanded that we “respect” him simply due to his age and aggressively confronted a female guest. Meanwhile, another man—claimed to be a “drunk guest” but clearly close to the staff—slammed doors and provocatively paced around us.
The so-called hotel manager, instead of resolving the issue, excused his father’s behavior and refused to address our safety concerns. A female guest was brought to tears, and a 16-year-old boy suffered stress-induced pain. The hotel refused to refund our last night, forcing us to leave at 10 PM. Even after police intervention, they continued to justify their actions.
- CHUN KAN (6/5): - The hot bath is very hot, no one can stay in for more than 5 mins. During snowy night, the snow truck to clear the road will keep you awake all night. The old Mr Kinta tries all his way to charge you a few hundred Yen here and there while the young Mr Kinta is more honest and did not over charge us. Ski and Snowboard equipment is cheaper but certainly condition is poor. Witnessed the binding of a ski broken from another visitor. The hardware itself is decent.
It is 15 mins walk from the Prince resort where the ski lifts are. If you can, rent the Price hotel directly.
- August (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nan-ying (8/5): Recommend! - The host and staff are very friendly and helpful. Delicious breakfast and great ambience.
Room is clean and private bathroom is new. The only thing that bothers us is that the heater temperature in the room cannot be adjusted. Once it’s turned on, the room gets very warm.
- Justin (9/5): Kinta-San was very welcoming, and went out of his way to make our stay a week to remember. - Beautiful hotel, config of room was great for the family, not always easy to find in Japan. Beautiful open air o send looking out over Naeba ski slopes, fabulous staff, we had a great week at the Kinta. Lack of transport option means you need to eat at the hotel, food was excellent, or be prepared to walk to dinner after a day on the slopes.
- Pak (10/5): Cozy - Clean and tidy. Convenient. Friendly host. Nothing of the price.
- Irene (5/5): Overpriced room and rental costs for the ski gears - The host were actually quite responsible and experienced in hospitality, even we were late check in, he still quite helpful, thanks for that, the breakfast was not bad in that ski area, just a bit pricey, 2000 yen per one. The room size was not big it said for 3 person, it only can fit 2 person with luggages, but the view was ok, the onsen was just hot water. The hostel was divided in two building, one is for restaurant and reception with stairs only, one is the main building for rooms, you need to cross a road for breakfast and rent ski gears, the car park area were close but without cover.
I was booked the room for one ppl stayed, but my friend joined at last minute when we arrived the hotel late, so eventually 2 persons stayed at the room, we thought just added one extra bed in tatami won't costs too much, and i was fully paid for the room already, so we didn't ask the extra amount...then when we checking out...the extra cost for one person was surprisingly high and unreasonable, it's almost 80% of my booked costs....my friend need to pay extra 49000 yen for stay 4 nights. And the costs for rent snow gears are the same as those ski shop outside and with limited choices, the host suggested a smaller size shoes for my friend that he need to rent a bigger pair in other shop.
Also, the tatami bed was not so clean, i had bed bug bites in my back.
- richard (10/5): - Kinta and his family are very great hosts. The breakfast every morning was a delight. Evening dinner meals were even better. A very warm and cozy hotel. A great little bar area. Very good rental gear. All in all an absolutely top hotel experience. 10 out of 10! We would highly recommend staying at Kinta Naeba.
- Jennifer (9/5): Welcoming and comfortable stay. - The location was ideal, only a 6-minute walk to the slopes.
The staff were friendly and accommodating. The facilities were well maintained and the overall feel was very welcoming and comfortable.
- Cheng (9/5): Superb -
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mike (10/5): Exceptional -
- Phoebe (10/5): Perfect stay for our first snowboarding trip - Stylish interior. Convenient location. Friendly owner and staff. Most delicious breakfast and dinner. Comfortable and clean room. Board rental. Wonderful view from room. Would be great if onsen robes were provided.
- Alicia (10/5): An exceptional and memorable experience - Beautiful hotel and the family that runs it are lovely, most welcoming and made our stay a very memorable one! Food was delicious and the room was very comfortable. None
- Burns (10/5): Amazing.cant wait to go back - The owner was amazing. He was very fun and friendly. He liked to share stories and talk with our family. He had a full ski and snowboard rental area for the whole family and was able to fit each person for the slopes.
- Noriko (9/5): Great accommodation with yummy breakfast and dinner. Very helpful owners and staff - Lovely and helpful owners and staff. Great ski field view from the room. The bathroom was very small. 7-8 min walking distance to Naeba South Gate. It wasn’t easy to carry ski gears back and forth.
- Simon (10/5): Lovely staff, would come back again. - Excellent location and very friendly, welcoming staff. A beautiful facility, great access to nearby ski resort. Family Friendly. We felty right at home at the Kinta. A 30 minute taxi/bus trip from the train station at Echigo Yuzawa requires good planning.
- Alana (10/5): A comfortable hotel with helpful staff and delicious meals. - We were a ski group of three friends and had a great stay at The KINTA. Staff were friendly and helpful, room was comfortable (we had twin beds and a separate tatami room that had two futons) and the food is delicious! A lot of care and great style has gone into the hotel’s decoration- we loved all the art and attention to detail. The hotel staff picked us up from the Naeba ski resort bus stop when we arrived and also when we departed. We found it an easy distance to walk to the ski lifts from the hotel (in ski boots). You can also walk to the nearby Prince hotel or other places for dinner but make sure you have a least one dinner at the hotel- it was delicious four course dinner (you need to let them know by 5pm the day before if you want to eat dinner at the hotel. The breakfasts were also delicious.
- I-Ting (10/5): - Very nice and cozy hotel , meals are amazing !
- Brett (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tommy (8/5): - 5min walk to South Gate of Naeba. It is highly recommended to have dinner at the hotel because there is No restaurant within walking distance. Room is Japanese style with cozy facilities. If you stay at Tower building, you can enjoy outside bath with a Ski grand view.
