• fidele (10/5): Le meilleur hôtel de la Turquie !! - Le confort...les photos je représente pas bien l hôtel..'de plus j'ai lu certain avis comme quoi l'emplacement était un peu craignos vu le quartier 😅 C est juste derrière la gare et je suis une femme seule..aucune insécurité !!! La propreté et la clim Le petit dej où il yavait un peu de diversité de que les autres hôtels de la mm gamme La vue de la chambre et le sèche cheveux d'un autre monde😅 On sentait de l aération de la SDB malgré que c étai fermé ..toutes les cigarettes que les personnes fumait en bas ! Et j'étais au 4e me étage...et le matin odeur aussi du tu dej

Auch für TUR Verhältnisse im schlechten Zustand und lieblos Bewirtschaftet.

• Chaimae (1/5): The worst hotel ever , except the breakfast nothing was good we barely could sleep - Good Breakfast The room was very dirty , the smell of cigarettes everywhere in the hotel even if we asked for another bed sheets , the smell was everywhere in the hotel , and the bathroom was in a very bad condition even the curtain was dirty and broken

• Thomas (8/5): - Staff were very friendly and welcoming, despite my lack of Turkish. Hotel is right next to Basmane Gar. Perfect spot in the city, walking distance to everything. Wifi very slow, cuts in and out alot. Breakfast.

• Anastasiia (7/5): This is a decent place to stay for it's price. - The hotel is located in a very convenient area. Close to a park, sea side, cafes, transportation, walking distance to the ferry. The area right around the hotel isn't that nice though, more like industrial, but on the other hand there was no problem with parking a car near the hotel unlike on any other street nearby. Despite the looks, the neighborhood felt safe. The room included branded towels and slippers. There was no coffee for breakfast. If you come down closer to 9 am - there would be not all food available. And the initial choice is already poor. The rooms are clean, but do require some repairment.
• Barnett (10/5): Location, people 👌 - Great location for motorcycles. Very helpful and friendly staff. Ten minutes walk from the sea front. Nice room, everything worked. Lovely breakfast.
• Andrea (3/5): Nothing but the location. - The location next to Basmane train station is very convenient if, like me, you want to reach the Ephesus Ancient City by train. The city centre is, however, pretty far walking, tram and metro are the best options to go there. There are other many hotels around the train station, maybe better check other options. The place seems honestly falling apart, is easy to understand there are no maintenance at all. Room and common areas are dirty and very old. In my room there were some leaking stains, a strong smells of smoke and because of the weak isolation I could hear everything from the other rooms! The toilet had a broken sink, shower was leaking, a hole in the door and the light was flashings. In the rooms there wasn’t a safe and not even a trashbin. No bedlights as well. Furnishings is very poor and cheap. The only bright spot linnen and towels were clean. Breakfast is included but I skipped it every morning. Have it at some street food in town give you less chance to get food poisoned.

• Lubomír (9/5): Superb - Above all, the ratio between the interesting price and the quality of the services - absolutely excellent. The hotel is a bit older, but clean and carefully maintained. The staff is great, it looks like a family hotel. The breakfast is rich, everyone is always smiling and helpful. Maximum satisfaction. Thank you. Such a situation did not arise.
• Paula (5/5): Great location old, dated room in need of servere repair - Location is perfect for, basmane metro station and Kornac area of Izmir. Old and dated, our room was in need of repair, bath room shower leaked all over but the shower head! Skin was cracked multiple places . Toilet seat and lid yellowed through age. Strong smell of smoke. We have stayed here before in a much nicer room. This was a bit of a last minute booking. Room really was not enjoyable . We didn’t get fresh towels or bedding for 4 days and then had to ask for them. Such a shame as the staff here are loverly front of house. Just a shame room really wasn’t worth the money paid.

• Paul (10/5): Perfect location and helpful staff - Lovely located hotel next to station, Kulturpark and Konak. Room was very clean and comfortable. No view but air conditioning made it perfect temperature. Jasemin was super helpful and I would definitely recommend as so close to centre and right next to Metro station. So economic too.
• Paula (7/5): Ok but, previous experience was better - The location is great it’s the second time we have stayed there so close to the metro and has parking. The room in our last stay was great couldn’t fault it. This time not so much. Would I stay again yes probably, but I’d make Some room requests Our rom was on the “newly” converted 5th floor, very poor finish ! Smelt like a chain smokers stayed in it before us! Luckily the window opened as was able to air it out a bit. We had a large hole something to do with air con pipes and the room Was a lot small than previous room We started in. Lift only goes to 4th floor not an issue for walking but carrying case was a pain to.As with all things in Turkey the price of the hotel had increased I dont think It was value for money this time. The walls on the 5th floor are paper thin also, not great if you have noisy neighbours As I said I if I was to book again I’m make room specifications.

• hab154 (6/5): Affordable hotel for budget travellers - Affordable hotel offering breakfast (buffet) but very poor WIFI connection in the upper floors. The hotel faces the main Train Station of Izmir (Basmane Gar) but you don't hear any noises of the trains because windows are double glazed. all the furniture and equipments in the room and in the bathroom are new. We spent only one night in the hotel which is a short time to really evaluate it but to be honest the hotel personnel and Manager were very helpful and even allowed us to stay in the lobby after checking out and kept our luggage until 7:00 pm when we left for our night train to Konya. This can be a good hotel if they fix sime WIFI repeeters in the upper floors.

• Jordanjones88 (4/5): Great staff, but I would avoid - The staff are very helpful and friendly. In a bit if a rough street. The room, even tho the bathroom was brand new, wasn't great. Open the window and you are greeted with a brick wall, but between the window and brick wall, is a straight drop down 5 floors. I don't know how it is passed as safe to stay in. Wires and pipes hanging out of the ceilings and walls. Didn't feel safe at all

• Alexandra (10/5): Very good place for the price - The best thing about this place is the location. It's very near the metro so it's easy to go around the city. It's close to some restaurants as well and you can walk to the Kordon Promenade from the hotel. The breakfast was great. The only thing i didn't like was that the room smelled like smoke

• Vanya (1/5): The worst hotel i've ever visited - The staff was very positive. The bed was comfortable. The room was not cleaned. Sheets were soaked by cigarette smoke. The pillows were soaked as well. Over the nightstand there was a spillage of something sticky, not cleaned by the staff. I am not sure if we slept at someone's sheets. Out of hygiene at all. Bathroom has better time 15 years ago. The drain spot is not even with the floor, but with 20 mm bellow the level of the flooring. Towels were ripped, soaked by cigarette smoke.
• Wendy (8/5): Value for little money and staff were lovely 💜 - Amazing staff and very committed to ensuring you are looked after 24/7. It is a place that you use as a base. No views, poor internet and basic. On saying that, the price of a room per night is excellent value and you feel as if you’re in the hub of 🇹🇷. Excellent positioning by the train station and short walk to the high street, harbor and ferries.

• Paula (8/5): overall enjoyed but some details were not great - the hotel is in a great location, our from was a good size, the bed was comfy, bath room good size for a city hotel, bathroom fixtures had line scale all over making it difficult to use and the shower drain did don’t drain right probably over full. payment was a little odd, I payed for the first night when booking (late booking) then I paid the remaining ing if the booking . then when leaving was told I needed to pay for the final day ! the guy advised it was his mistake, however not the best way to take payment for stays the bathroom was outdated, and it need if a good over haul, we didn’t have maid service in our 5 day stay

• Diego (8/5): It was a good experience. - The hotel doesn't look amazing from the outside, but inside it is a nice place and staff was nice and helpful. The location was nice, was near the train and the subway. The breakfast was good, it had fresh product and the flavour was nice. The room was good with a confortable bed and a lot of space. It was a nice experience overall. The small street where it is located was scary at night and the look of the hotel from the outside is not the best. The lift was a little bit small, specially if you have to go to the top floors. Maybe the bathroom was a little bit uncomfortable, not for the space, but there was no hooks where to hang the towels.

The shower needs to be repaired; over my head in bed there were huge spots from water leaking through the ceiling from the roof and small pieces just falling down in the bed directly; room was full of long black hair on the floor, I assume no one cleaned it before.
