• Josie (9/5): - Really enjoyed my stay at Silver Palm - the room was huge and had all the amenities I needed. Very comfortable bed and good shower, and it was quite quiet at night. The location is perfect, with easy access to the beach. Enjoyed the breakfast buffet and the food at the cafe was good too. Helpful and friendly staff who gave me a warm welcome and ensured that I had a relaxing stay. Hope to be back again. It would be lovely if the pool was open later in the evening!

• Andrew (5/5): Nice hotel. Poor staff and service - Terrible service and no effort to meet basic requests. The coffee is terrible and limited options. Coffee machine was broken and not attempt to fix it or provide alternative except terrible instant coffee. Had to request for simple things like eggs to be cooked and toaster turned on. Request to fix it were met with apologises, but no change with same issues occuring the next day. Its a beautiful hotel with poorly trained staff and no interest in improving this See abive

What truly sets this place apart is the incredible staff—everyone is friendly, attentive, and goes above and beyond. The breakfast buffet was excellent, and the on-site restaurants were fantastic. Ideal for a relaxing, luxurious escape. We can't wait to come back!

The mattress and pillows have aged and seem to have been used for long time. Otherwise it’s a good experience and loved the place.

• Robynpenman (10/5): A wonderful stay - I stayed at silver palm for just over a week. The rooms are beautiful, the food is brilliant. But the jewel in the crown of this hotel is the staff. They are exceptional in every way, from reception, to house keeping, pool attendance and security. They are a real asset to the hotel and I am thankful for their hospitality. I travelled from the uk and the team promptly picked me up from Mombasa airport, it’s a long drive but you are greeted in a friendly manner and to views of the Indian Ocean. I’d recommend this hotel if you’re in the area.

• 263CarolM (8/5): Beautiful Secret on Kenya's Coastline - The hotel is located in a very quiet and secluded residential area thus providing an almost exclusive access to the beautiful Bofa beach. There were no beach boys or traders as we walked along the beach which was quite a different experience to Diani and the north coast. The rooms are well appointed and very spacious with modern amenities and lovely architecture. The staff are friendly though service can be a little slow. Management are visibly present and on hand to take action when required in a very professional manner. Definitely will return in future.

The pool, should I say, infinite. Service efficiency is on a high level. Indeed, we enjoyed our stay. We shall be back.

They went beyond to make us feel comfortable and looked after us, including offering to prepare any meals as I was a vegetarian. It was 150% perfect holiday and everything from checking in, the room, the food, waiters, the swimming pool, spa was just perfect! Very clean place. Everyone were so friendly, approachable and the resort had such a positive vibe. Most important decent/respectable people. By the way their wood fire pizza are amazing! I highly recommend this resort, a beautiful place to unwind, relax and feel rejuvenated. Also, the swimming pool was wonderful including the water. Your skin did not feel dry after a swim. The room was very comfortable, clean and elegant. Thank you so much for taking such good care of us and will looking forward to booking another trip.

They catered to one of our vegan requests without any hesitation and maintained a delicious menu. 10/10 for the food alone, dinners were varied, delicious and the highlight of our days. The rooms are massive, clean and beautifully designed with intricate stonework. Would recommend the spa massages as well, very professional and highly trained. Great value. Suggestion: an accessible lactose-free option at breakfast (i.e. soy/almond milk) :)

The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive from the moment we arrived. They went above and beyond to make sure every part of our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated with a coastal charm, and equipped with everything we needed. The on-site restaurant served delicious seafood with plenty of fresh, local options. We especially loved dining with a view of the sunset over the water.

The staff is friendly, the architecture is well thought of, residents are few thus service feels like its individualized and the beach is not crowded enabling a perfect time. The rooms are spacious with an Arab feel to it and very spacious. I will definitely visit it again.

However the kitchen staff seem to be a bit mean compared to everyone else (they didn't allow me to fill my water bottle from the dining dispenser, and my wife wasn't allowed to carry some pancakes from breakfast - in both instances, they stated that the food and water was only to be consumed within the dining area).

It has been a while since things went as right as they did at Silver Palm. Right from the hassle free check-in, the clean environment, the pools, the uncrowded, white beach, the great food, the very comfortable rooms, the architecture (loved the walls!) to the very friendly, efficient, unobtrusive service. I can see why they are ranked so highly. And because they are small, all the services felt very individualised. It was a blissful 3 days for my family - we will definitely be back.

• jgitangu (10/5): 🌴 Review: Kilifi Silver Palm – Family Stay 🌴 - We took an impromptu family trip to Kilifi Silver Palm and it turned out to be one of the best decisions we’ve made. The hotel is just amazing! The rooms are among the best we have ever stayed in spacious, beautifully done, and very thoughtfully arranged. Our kids had their own upstairs space, which I was initially nervous about, but it worked out perfectly. We had pool access directly from our room, which minimized movements and gave us the chance to relax on our daybeds while enjoying serene views of the sea. The food was excellent, but what truly stood out was the staff. From the front office team — Ann, Peter, and Almisi who welcomed us warmly, to the service staff including Tsuma, Elias, Riziki, Timothy, and Mary, everyone was friendly, professional, and attentive. I didn’t interact with all of them, but I’m sure the same high standards apply across the board. A special mention to Tayari, the pool attendant. He impressed us with his alertness and concern for safety. At one point, he thought my son (a competitive swimmer) was in trouble and immediately jumped in to “rescue” him, only to discover it was just playful antics with his brother. That incident reassured us that guest safety is taken very seriously here. Overall, we felt safe, well taken care of, and completely relaxed. We enjoyed every moment and can’t wait to return this time for a longer stay. Truly a gem in Kilifi!!!

• Qiyu (9/5): Fabulous! Great spot at Kilifi. - Beautiful pool by the ocean. The environment is fabulous. The service is very hospitable. Music is terrific every Sunday. Saturday there is Karaoke night and the buffet food is always amazing. Would appreciate it more if given a room on the upper floor.
• Wamukhula (10/5): Awesome! An oasis of calm. - This is a boutique hotel with a lovely arab/coastal style architecture. Excellent customer service right from reservations to check in and check out. Kudos to Amisi for handling our booking and stay very well. Excellent food, the best pizza I have eaten anywhere, great breakfasts and dinners. We stayed in room 502. A swim-up suite with large living area with steps directly into the pool. Huge bathroom with whirlpool bath tub, separate spacious shower area with overhead shower, separate spacious toilet area. I highly recommend Silver Palms.

The best dinner buffet. Rooms were clean. Amisi at the front desk was fantastic and very warm. The CEO Mr. Paul, always walking and checking on guests was just awesome. Generally the staff were all very friendly The tea variety was very limiting. General Cleanliness of the spa to be improved.

Cleanliness is at top level, the amenities are exceptional, rooms are so spacious and everything well set up. I would recommend this place for anyone who comes to Kilifi and Mombasa at large. My only concern is to ask you improve on the Menu; have more variety foods especially locally made food,reduce on the spices and have fresh food each day, some of the food I think had Lost it's original taste and the feedback was from many people. Hope you Will take it positively and have the same improved. All in all your service is good.

• Nduta (6/5): A beautiful location let down by poor room allocation and unfulfilled promises - Spa and food I stayed at Silver Springs in Watamu from Wednesday to Saturday and had specifically booked a sea view room, which was confirmed in advance. Unfortunately, upon arrival, I was not given the sea view room I had reserved — with no explanation or effort to rectify the issue. While the property itself has a lovely location and the ambiance is relaxing, this oversight really tainted the experience, especially since the view was a key reason I chose this hotel. Service and communication around the issue could have been better. I hope management takes future bookings more seriously and ensures guests receive what they’ve paid for.

I would like to suggest a better choice of pillows and matress, also food consistency in the a la carte menu. Barizi spa was amazing, ask for Regina, she was superb and excellent masseuse. 👏 Chef Salim was very accomodative, he made for us grilled prawns and they were really good. All the staff were very kind and helpful. It's a million dollar view from the hotel, the beach is beautiful, clean clear water till the horizon. The pool is big and clean. We will definitely come back again.
