• Peter (10/5): We would not hesitate to stay here again. Sorry no photos taken but you will see these online anyway. - Staying here worked well for us. It’s slightly out of Geraldine central but we had a car so this wasn’t an issue. Beautiful quiet setting. The hosts were very accommodating and friendly. They had a couple of very nice cats that I thought were wonderful. Clean comfortable, quiet and good breakfast.

La literie était parfaite. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et excellent. Le parc est magnifique. Tout ceci donne envie d'y rester plus longtemps. Je recommande vivement.

• Deb (10/5): A very relaxing place in a gorgeous garden in the lovely Town of Geraldine. - Lovely and clean, very nice bedroom which was comfortable and a darkened room to sleep. A very pleasant couple hosting us. The bathroom for us was next door to our bedroom and it was very spacious and luxurious. Breakfast was plentiful and nicely cooked. Nothing.

Geraldine is a lovely small town with an esoteric variety of shopping at much lower prices than further south in tourist hotspots.

During the night a water pump adjacent to the room was making noises which could be heard in the room.

Breakfast was delicious - eggs, bacon, toast and homemade jams, fruit and granola + juice, coffee & tea. Geraldine is a cool little town and we enjoyed the auto/equipment museum as well as a nice latte at the record store (open on weekends). We completely enjoyed our one night stay.

The adjacent modern bathroom was large and featured lovely views across the fields. Breakfast was all that could be desired, as we chatted to our hosts and to another couple of guests. Car ride to restaurants in the village. Our host made a delicious big breakfast the next morning. Lol....unfortunately we were not allowed to take Misty with us. Was perfect for our requirements.

The Hosts were very gracious, friendly, accommodating...all of it! And the two Cats: FUN! Great stay. Thanks, Folks! 😊😊😊 New Zealanders apparently use Duvets for beds, as do the Europeans, for their only sheet/cover. We find these too heavy and warm. We usually have to remove the inner comforter to use only the Duvet-cover, which is not quite warm enough! So, a separate blanket to use instead would be great. But then, we'd need spare sheet! Sigh! "Ferriners" can be so picky! 😁

The location was close to town and easy to find. Absolutely nothing! The accommodation, the breakfast and our hosts Ken and Jenny were amazing.

The bed so so comfy, I had the best nights sleep that I’ve had in ages, the bell bird song at 7am was amazing just loved hearing his song. Our hosts were really friendly & welcoming. • 552lizf (10/5): Great value & home from home - What a find :) river stone is wonderful, in a really great location only just out of town so very peaceful & quiet. Our room the king suite upstairs was fabulous, the bathroom was huge & had a great view of the garden. The bed was so comfy I had the best nights sleep, the linen was soft & snuggly. The view of the garden was great. The bell bird song in the morning was so calming as I lay in this Devine bed waking up ( I love a good bed!) breakfast was good quality & plentiful. The hosts Ken & Jenny very friendly & welcoming.

We didn't get to spend much time on the property but the surroundings looked beautiful. And the home cooked breakfast was absolutely lovely! The property is not really close to town, but if you're driving then that's no biggie.
