- Ellen (10/5): Our stay was lovely and was made that way by the friendly and responsive hosts! - This property is in a great location in Nevada City within walking distance to the main downtown shops and restaurants. The hosts are very friendly and helpful recommending restaurants and activities that suited our short stay. The accommodations are very clean and comfortable. We plan to return to this lovely property in the future!

- David (10/5): Lovely stay at the Broad Street Inn for our anniversary and Victorian Christmas. - Loved the Inn. Very cozy and well maintained. Great location within a few minutes walk to the Victorian Christmas and downtown. We've been there twice and plan to go back. Would highly recommend. Only negative is parking. It's pretty limited, which really only matters if you're there for Victorian Christmas. We usually stay in town so it's never been a problem for us.
- Grace (10/5): Had a great stay at Broad Street Inn for Victorian Christmas! - Great location for historic downtown. Very clean, welcoming, and such charm! Can’t think of anything.
- John (10/5): - Fantastic property with a,perfect location and located right on Broad street where all the shops and restaurants are. Coffee service was perfect with both perk and Kuerig. Hosts were extremely nice and welcoming. Room was spotless. Great place to stay, will definitely come back. Loved it! It was perfect
- Ashley (10/5): - Very clean and attentive owners. We felt very welcome in such a friendly atmosphere.
- Hilary (7/5): Very charming inn in a great location to downtown Nevada City - Charming inn near the center of town. Great walking location. Very kind owners who live there and were accommodating. The room we stayed in, #1 was very noisy in the morning and throughout the day. It was hard to sleep in the morning with foot traffic inside and being situated by the front door. The owners let us know the windows are single pane and that can get noisy, but the noise was coming from inside the inn. I wish I had known this ahead of time.
- Robert (10/5): - Location, charm, friendly staff

- CHRISTY (8/5): Historic Home Experience - The historic house in an historic town was charming. The air conditioning worked well, keeping our room at a comfortable temperature. The water pressure in the shower was good and the room was clean. The room was very small. Although it worked, I probably wouldn't stay here again because it wasn't really a room where we could hang out. That said, the property did offer options for outdoor seating (porch, patio, yard).

- Patricia (10/5): I really liked this place and will plan to return to it. - The location was great; very near downtown but in a residential area. There wasn't a full breakfast, but there was coffee, biscotti, fruits, oatmeal,... and very pleasant areas inside and out to enjoy it.
- Richard (10/5): Great place to stay! - This is an incredible find. Close to great trails and downtown. Really peaceful. I can't recommend it enough. Next time i'll book direct. :)
- Florence (9/5): Our stay was short but sweet. Will definetly book again when we are in the area. - Lovely Inn in a great location. The owners were very personable. We loved the clean smell of the sheets, the garden in the back, and the coffee/sun room with nice amenities. Travelers should be aware that the property has steps for accessing the upstairs rooms and the coffee/sun room.

- Mariano67 (10/5): Great place to stay in Nevada City - We stayed two nights at the Inn. We loved it! Great location, an easy walk to the restaurants, bars and shops. The bedroom and the bathroom were very nice and mattress and the pillows were comfortable. We enjoyed a couple of tea in the beautiful backyard after our walk in the Tribulation Trail. Ron and Julie are truly excellent hosts. They went above and beyond to make sure every guest felt welcome and had a wonderful stay. Their hospitality really made a difference.
- Thomas (10/5): perfect! - very friendly and welcoming staff, made us feel like at home! The house is a gem. we would come back any time!
- Jillbennet22 (10/5): Best place in Nevada City - I love staying at the Broad Street Inn. Great location right on Broad St, comfortable beds, and friendly service. I’ve stayed here many times, and just wish I could visit more often. They have a sunroom with a microwave, ice, toaster, coffee maker and delicious, home made biscotti. It makes it very convenient to warm up something you’ve bought in town. I park the car out front and just walk during my time in Nevada City. Everything is accessible on foot.
- William (10/5): We highly recommend this Inn when visiting Nevada City . - IWe had a wonderful time at the Inn. Ron and Julie were the best Inn keepers we could of asked for. During our stay there was road work in front of the Inn. The sidewalk was not safe to walk on . Because of this Ron would help my wife through a path that was safe . Coming back in August. WE can not think of anything.
- David (10/5): Exceptional - Charming, friendly, well-appointed, well run.
- Kathryn (10/5): Recommended stay! - Had a really lovely 4 nights at the inn. Owned by a really lovely and friendly couple. Room was a good size, with a big comfortable bed. Plenty of bedding and towels. You get to use a lot of the property as well as the room. There is a front porch, a back room with amenities for tea/coffee, fridge, ice, microwave etc. You can sit inside there or down the stairs where there is another fridge. There are two areas to sit outside as well under parasols. The inn is minutes from the town. I would stay again.
- Roger (10/5): - .
- C8276DIsuee (10/5): Highly recommend! - We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The hosts were wonderful, the bed and pillows were comfortable, it was quiet, clean and the amenities were great. The location is a couple of short blocks from the shops and restaurants in Nevada City, but far enough away to avoid the noise of downtown. Also, the price was very reasonable. We will definitely stay there again and highly recommend it.
- Exploration601685 (10/5): Stay here - The Broad Street Inn - Julie and Ron are the perfect hosts! They helped us with our arrival details regarding parking while street construction was underway. We found easy street parking just outside the Inn and left the car there for the two nights we were in town. Walking into town was past charming homes and a beautiful old church. We enjoyed the Farmers Market, great shopping and delicious dinners in the "old west" but authentic buildings. The Inn was very comfortable and we loved the outdoor seating areas. Ron's biscotti treats were the best! Stay here - you'll be glad you did!
- Tina (10/5): Exceptional - The nicest people, and super handy kitchen nook
- Jeff (10/5): Exceptional - Staff (hosts) were friendly and accommodating. It was easy to see that they have gone to great lengths to ensure guests have a comfortable and memorable stay. Facility was clean, well-appointed and conveniently located.
- Paul (10/5): A beautiful place with a personal touch. - The Broadstreet Inn far exceeded our expectations. We were greeted when we arrived and places of interest in the area recommended . The Inn is beautiful and very comfortable. My wife and I felt at home here! Highly recommend! The biscotti was a plus! I cannot think of a thing that wasn’t exceptional!
- Danny (10/5): We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning - The Broad Street Inn was at the end of the historic Nevada city district. It was so convenient. The end keepers were wonderful and the accommodations were inviting. Nothing comes to mind
- Howard (10/5): Exceptional -
- Peter (10/5): Quiet stay in a charming hotel. - It is a beautifully kept building and grounds. The owners are warm and friendly. The room & bath were spotless. We will recommend this hotel to our friends visiting Nevada City. Can’t think of anything. Everything was great.
- FulhamPete (10/5): Perfect start to touring Highway 49 Gold Rush towns - An absolutely delightful inn! Half a dozen or so unique rooms (we had a choice on arrival) each furnished with charm and provided with everything we needed. The owners, Julie and Ron, were great and made us feel instantly at home. The bed was super and yhe morning common room had plenty of options for coffee and tea (breakfast not provided). Nevada City's historic downtown was a few minutes stroll away with places to eat. We were sorry we were only passing through for one night.
- James (10/5): Exceptional - Location Location Location. Walk to nearby restaurants, shops, bars, music. The owners are great. Historic house, nicely kept up and appointed. Clean comfortable. Narrow staircase, no elevator. We didn't mind....but it's not for everyone. Rooms are smaller....but we don't go to NC to hang out in the room. Quiet hours 9 to 9.
- Leanna (10/5): It’s intimate and quiet, the best place to stay in Nevada City by far. - We loved our time at the Broad Street Inn. All of our needs and more were met, the facilities were absolutely beautiful, and the hosts were lovely people. The gardens and sitting areas outside were pretty and peaceful. The ability to make your coffee and have a little snack was especially nice. It’s a magical place and we highly recommend you choose this inn for your next stay in Nevada City.
- John (10/5): Exceptional -

This property is gorgeous, clean, peaceful and located minutes from all the shops and restaurants..Our room was specious and beautifully decorated. Owners are friendly and very accommodating.
- Ortiz (10/5): Exceptional -
- Janet (10/5): - Our hosts were wonderful and super helpful regarding directions and things to do in Nevada City. The room was beautifully appointed and super clean. The only thing we didn't like was the very, very firm bed. We had to change positions so many times due to our hips hurting from pressure points.
- Cecile (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kenneth (10/5): - .
- Edward (10/5): Exceptional - What a lovely inn hosted by the super helpful folks. Good coffee and Ron's famous home made biscotti and fruit in the morning. Lovely beyond description!

Our room was cozy, clean, comfortable. Julie and Ron are super hosts. Ron's biscotti are incredible! Nevada City is delightful and a very easy walk from the Inn.

- Camper56900405523 (10/5): WE WILL BE BACK!! - We take an annual trip to Nevada City around Christmas. Once we discovered the Broad Street Inn, we stay nowhere else. This was our 3rd or 4th stay and look forward to staying there again! Rooms are beautiful. Coffee room has everything you need and Julie and Ron are wonderful hosts who will do anything to make your stay enjoyable. Perfectly located to enjoy downtown.
- Mandy (9/5): So pleasant! Relaxing - Staff, decor, history
- Constance (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kcobler (9/5): Solid Victorian Hotel, Quiet and Great Location - Clean room. Antique home, but solid with no noisy creaks. Room was deathly quiet. Did not hear anyone, and I'm a light sleeper and the hotel was full. No breakfast is served, but they had a very complete coffee station, with EXCELLENT brewed coffee, option for Keurig, plus English Breakfast tea among others. Home made biscotti, plus a microwave, refrigerator, etc. Also nice about the room: TWO chairs. I hate it when a room for a couple only comes with one chair. No designated parking lot, but no problem with street parking.
- Nancy (10/5): - Friendly and helpful staff. Very clean and excellent location.
- Jeremy (10/5): Adorable place, well priced, very sweat owners, good location. I would recommend it to our friends. - We stayed upstairs. In the morning, we went to the end of the hall and went out a door to have coffee or tea. There was sugar and half and half. They had a bowl of fruit. There was even homemade biscotti, ice and a refrigerator we could use. Some guests would probably like it if there were USB plug-ins to charge their phones, but we brought our own, so it was not a problem for us.
- RachanThai (10/5): Lovely stay - Great location - easy to walk around town; very neat and clean; wonderful, homey sitting room; good coffee and tea kitchen area; operated by friendly folks who live on the premises, and assured me they are avaiable for questions or complaints at any time..
- Rachan (9/5): Superb -
- Heidi (10/5): So inviting and comfortable - Perfect location and wonderful home with large rooms and in room bathrooms and great sitting areas. The coffee is so good and Ron and Julie make the best biscotti we’ve had! Enjoy the wonderful town if Nevada City staying in this great Inn and neighborhood.

- M5494AAcatherinem (10/5): A great find close to everything. - Innkeepers were very kind and helpful. The room was just right. Very clean and comfortable. The coffee room was well stocked, enough to cobble a little something in the morning. The price was very affordable considering the location and the quality. Definitely will stay here again.

We have stayed here before and appreciate the fact that it is quiet, comfortable and within walking distance of downtown Nevada City. Ron and Julie are very receptive hosts and provide what one needs to start one's day in California history. I highly recommend the Broad Street Inn!
- Bobbette (8/5): Great location, excellent hosts! - The biscotti that Ron made was quite excellent. Coffee was ready every morning. Amenities were well thought out and very accommodating. My own preference would have been a lighter more neutral wall color that was more period appropriate for the beautiful home.

- Karl (9/5): Friendly and helpful owners, great location - Innkeepers extremely friendly, helpful, explained town layout, gave us restaurant tips, suggested a wonderful nature walk nearby to a native memorial bridge which we were able to do despite our limited time there. Very nice people just to talk to. Queen bed only, but we knew that in advance.

Ron helped us with our luggage, and Julie checked to make sure we were comfortable. Our room bordered a lovely sunporch, offering coffee, tea, creamer, fruit, and instant oatmeal, as well as Ron's delicious homemade biscotti. - Stephen (10/5): Lovely stay, will certainly be back. - Perfect location, excellent hosts. Nothing.
- aBroadAbroad (10/5): Absolutely Lovely, Comfortable Inn with Top-Notch Hospitality - We stayed at the Broad Street Inn for five nights in June 2024, and we could not have been happier with our stay. Our room was cosy, quiet, and comfortable. Even though it was small, it was well-appointed. We had absolutely everything we needed, from storage space, to an iron, to accessible outlets, to fluffy towels and a hair dryer. There was good a/c and a ceiling fan. Although the Broad Street Inn does not market itself as a B&B, they still offer delicious fresh coffee, fresh fruit, oatmeal, and Ron's delicious homemade biscotti every morning in the sun room -- which was plenty for us!
The backyard garden space was large, shady, and peaceful. It was a great place to take a break during a hot, busy day. And we appreciated the on-site fridge and ice-machine too. On-street parking was never a problem.
Yet what really made the Broad Street Inn special were our hosts, Julie and Ron. They couldn't have been kinder and more accommodating. They helped us with everything we needed during our stay -- and always with genuine warmth. We felt like we were staying with friends. Their level of care and hospitality is exceptional.
Broad Street Inn has a homey, historic feel to it. It is charming and super-welcoming. I recommend it wholeheartedly.
- Grainne (10/5): Exceptional - Wonderful stay here, very cute inn just a short walk into all the restaurants and bars.
Lovely area set up with complimentary coffee and water and Ron's delish's homemade biscotti,
and a lovely garden to relax in.
Would highly recommend this place. Julie and Ron are wonderful, very helpful and friendly.
