However, being a vegetarian had very limited options to eat even though the property had a full time Indian chef. Front office, concierge and doorman were all very cooperative and helpful. - Rachel (10/5): A 5-star stay in Yangon! - I loved my stay here, the best hotel and customer service experienced in Myanmar! The neighborhood has walkable modern amenities and historic sites and street food are just steps away. It was a very quiet time in Myanmar for tourists with the recent events, however the staff still went above and beyond and knew my name by the end. Lovely people going through so much uncertainty. If you can find the courage to go to Myanmar right now, they definitely appreciate the tourist dollars.

It's also attached to Junction City shopping centre and across the road from the Bogyoke Aung San Market, which is very handy. Difficult car parking even get off or get in the hotel for a few minutes. Upon our check in , the staff from the reception desk was efficient but I felt like that I was in Singapore or HK but not in Myanmar. Concierge desk staff are good, prompt service.

Unless you were interested in the huge mall next door it was not a good location. Other than the mall there were no interesting stores or restaurants. A taxi was needed to go most anywhere & it is close to an hour from the airport.

Rooms are huge and tastefully decorated, with bathtub and walk-in shower. Breakfast is the best I have had anywhere in the world, with Myanma, Chinese, Japanese, Indian, American and European options — and even ice cream. The staff could not be nicer or more professional. Fully recommended.

- Verified traveler (6/5): - The hotel is very nice but the service was very disappointing. My father and I arrived in the evening and had to wait more than 30 minutes for our bags to be brought up. We called reception three times and they were extremely unhelpful. We finally received them and the bell boy did not even apologise for the delay (in fact he was smiling and thought it was funny). As a result of all this, we were late for our dinner reservation (restaurants in Yangon are generally not open late) so we went downstairs to grab a taxi and the bell boys didn’t even offer to help us; we ended up getting one ourselves. We stayed at both the Pullman and Pan Pacific during our stay in Yangon and I would strongly recommend the Pullman due to their higher level of service and professionalism.

- Wai Kheong (8/5): Unforgettable Stay at Pan Pacific Yangon - First time in Yangon Myanmar. For the same price, you may get a bigger room at another 5-star hotel somewhere else... But at this unbeatable location, it’s worth the exchange... The most upmarket mall in town Junction City, and Bogyoke market are just neighbors. Some of the best restaurants in Yangon are only within walking distance. Love the infinity pool the most, you may even see Shwedagon Pagoda glowing in the background!

Staff wished my wive a happy birthday when they saw her and they even brought a lovely cake to our room. It made our stay very special indeed. I was so impressed about how they’ve been so kind to providing the excellent service and concern of what customers need. Mr. Chan allowed me to have an early check in also late check out as my work schedule started a bit early and finished quite late. The other staffs were always smiling and tried to help with any issues. On top of their excellent service and stunning hotel.. there’s a very beautiful scent everywhere, even in my room. The hotel management has pay very much attention in very details indeed. Impressive. 💜

I had no idea what Myanmar would be like but now I want to return in December I’m so in love with this place. Pan pacific has the best hotel staff I’ve ever met. I’ve been traveling around SE Asia for a couple of months so I’ve stayed in many hotels. This is hands down the best I’ve stayed in. he breakfast, price, every single thing. I fell in love.

The bathroom was huge with separate toilet and shower rooms. The shower was amazing. The entire hotel is air conditions. The hotel is connected to a mall, so there are many dining options very close by. The staff were extremely polite. This is a top property!

The room did not provide enough body shampoo for 2 persons and there was no vanity kits

The varieties for the daily breakfast was plenty and changes daily. Security checks in to the hotel seems to be a permanent feature. Location of hotel is good with a Junction City Mall right below. Abundant of food with a food court and a variety of restaurants. Had dinner at Ippudo, the ramen standard is consistent. There's a grocery store and bakery ( Breadtalk ) in the mall too. Sule Pagoda is walkable ( about 11-13 min ). Chinatown is also walkable. The majestic Shwedagon Pagoda is near, about 7 min ride away. Taxi and Grab are easily available. Aung San Market is just conveniently across the road. Walking along the streets feel safe. Just note that the city jam starts around noon time to around 2-3pm. In summary, this hotel is a good choice in Yangon.

I can't find one thing that I didn't like about this hotel (and usually I can!). Pros: fantastic breakfast options, very quick and attentive staff, super clean, and decently priced.
- Jaymin (4/5): Good Hotel but didn't get room type we booked - The hotel is in good location and is actually very good. Our grip however was that we booked a premier corner room and paid significantly more but on arrival we were informed that the room type was not available and that we would be upgraded to a junior suite I do not believe we were upgraded as the room matched normal room on Hotels.com We are going back this Sunday for a 3 night stay and hopefully we will get a Premier corner room which is the one we have booked

Escorted to the room by someone from Concierge and to my pleasant surprise, the room features was politely explained by the concierge! Overall comments for each department. Concierge - Staff polite and eager to serve. Helpful with information on the city Front Desk - Well informed and crisp in service Café - Tin who was manager for breakfast shift always on the floor, attending to guest's needs and ensuring soiled condiments are cleared & replaced with clean ones. Constantly engaging guests, pleasant Teak bar - Bartender behind the bar quick with whipping up cocktails & good ones too! Room service - prompt & polite I've had to work on a laptop but did not bring one. I asked to borrow a laptop and your Front Desk staff got one arranged for me :) Level of service very near to a 5-star deluxe hotel !! Keep it up consistently :)
