• Tania (8/5): Great location - Great location for walking around the city. Rooms are basic but clean. Ensure you request parking as it is very limited and highly needed for the area. Standard breakfast continually stocked and monitored by staff. The room was very warm and uncomfortable due to heat being the only option during a very warm weekend. Initially we had to switch rooms as the first one was unbearable to sleep in.

• gareth (10/5): WOULD RECOMMEND - Hotel is small and modern in the main square of the town - it has an underground car park for 10 euros a night - bliss. Loads of cafes and restaurants around the hotel. I would thouroghly recommend a stay - includes a good breakfast in the price.

• Eric (8/5): Hotel correct - Bon hôtel pour un déplacement professionnel. il faisait un peu froid dans la chambre pas un radiateur supplémentaire était à disposition ce qui est bien. Petit déjeuner assez ordinaire mais suffisant. A noter quelques Mugs à café mal lavés proposés au public, pas grave on en prend un autre.

This time - the hotel obviously could not cope with a large number of people at breakfast, Everything had run out and the were too slow to replenish. So I left having just had a coffee and fruit juice!

• Laura (10/5): Summer Saturday night perfect - We had a room overlooking the lovely town square in which there was a free jazz concert . Apparently this occurs every Saturday night in the summer . It was quite afterwards so we slept well . Lovely town center . A little further than the highway than expected . Will come again . I would ask for a room facing the town center or above the 2nd floor as the first floor rear room with a window open could be accessed .

Le seul bémol est la qualité du petit déjeuner qui selon nous n'est pas à la hauteur de l'établissement. Parking sécurisé situé à l'arrière de l'hôtel mais avec accès direct depuis l'ascenseur.

The positive experience with staff was ongoing and they were all helpful from parking to providing information about the town. The rooms are clean and functional. 's-ochtends bleek er bovendien slechts één handdoekenset te zijn. Ontbijt chaotisch en weing keuze en de sapautomaat was kapot. voor dat geld verwacht je wel wat meer. Vriendelijk personeel bij de receptie maar zeker niet bij het ontbijt.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Aanrader - Zeer centraal gelegen hotel in Chalons-en-Champagne. Ondergrondse parking aan hotel voor 8 euro per dag, wat heel redelijke prijs is. Kamer was voldoender ruim. Redelijk goed bed, en goede badkamer. Ook ontbijt was in orde. Enigste minpunten waren: - slechts 1 lift in hotel, dus af en toe moest je wel lang wachten - op 1 dag begonnen er lawaaierige onderhoudswerken in het hotel om reeds 8u 's morgens.

The breakfast was excellent & it so handy being able to grab croissants, coffee & tea any time throughout the day. The staff were lovely & helpful.

• Katherine (10/5): Perfect for an overnight stop! - Travelling from Lake Como to Calais, we needed somewhere to stop overnight. On our journey from Calais, we’d stopped in Obernai, but knew this was a little early for our return journey. We wanted to stay in a town, rather than a hotel on the outskirts or just off the motorway - somewhere with character and ideally with restaurants close by to eat. After searching around Metz and Nancy, we looked a little further and struck upon this hotel. Reviews were positive and how accurate they were. From the moment we pulled up outside - free parking overnight, to the welcome in reception, we knew this would be a positive experience. The room was lovely - clean and cool. Great lighting, comfy bed, fantastic television (with BBC if you fancied British television) - the room was just what we needed. We slept well and breakfast the next morning was just as pleasing. Freshly squeezed orange juice, great coffee - little touches like the kitchenaid toaster - the kettle to make your own coffee throughout the day and night. We couldn’t have asked for more. To top things, the restaurant next door, overlooking the square, was the perfect place to enjoy a meal (we arrived late - 9pm) - the last of our holiday. I’d definitely stay here again!

• Peter (10/5): Good Chalons option - This was the better of the 2 Styles I stayed at this week. Very cool staff. Has a boutique hotel feel and decor which is neutral but the hotel is in very good shape mostly. Good location in the historic centre. Breakfast is standard but fine, all fresh and well prepared. Good value compared to the other options.
• pamela (10/5): Stay on way back to UK - The hotel is right in the centre of town with the bonus of very secure underground parking. We were able to walk to the shops, the parks and the river. We also found a very nice restaurant a short walk away. The reception staff were very helpful. The hotel and our room was clean. The breakfast included in the price was very good and well organised and constantly topped up. If I stayed in Chalons en Champagne again I would definitely pick this hotel.
