• Guest (9/5): Airy and comfy room in the heart of town with spectacular views of the coast from the terrace. - I had a warm welcome, with lots of helpful info and at a flexible time. The room was very comfortable, in the best location opposite the basiliica and with a spectacular terrace view. Loved the modern decor, which did traditional in a chic new way. The space around the bed was a bit of a tight squeeze but it was perfect for my single trip.

• Chris (10/5): A honeymoon dream come true! - We stayed at B&B La Chiave on our honeymoon, looking to experience Old World Italian charm on the stunning Amalfi Coast and I'm happy to say that this B&B and the town of Vietri Sul Mare exceeded our ecpectations! Our room overlooked the Chiesa Parrocchiale di San Giovanni which we had the added pleasure of visiting while a student orchestra with an opera singer were practicing and then later performing a memorial concert. The singer's rendition of Whitney Houston's I Will Always Love You brought tears to my wife's eyes. After a delicious dinner at the nearby tapas restaurant, we danced on the rooftop terrace overlooking the Amalfi Coast. This was a honeymoon dream come true! A warning for any travelers with physical limitations, the narrow stairs up to the room are a challenge for hauling a full-size suitcase.

• Kenneth (9/5): Kotoisa kattoterassihuoneisto - Kodikas huoneisto omalla parvekkeella, josta mahtava näkymä merelle. Aamupala oli italialainen ja se tarjottiin läheisessä kahvilassa. Huoneisto sijaitsi neljännessä kerroksessa, eikä huoneiston eteen päässyt autolla, joten suosittelen pakkaamaan kevyesti ja jättämään vetolaukut pois. Majoituksen vieressä on kaunis kirkko, jonka kirkonkellot soivat klo 8-00 välillä vartin välein. Ääni on niin kova, että herättää ja tekee parvekkeella olosta hetkeksi epämukavaa.

• Mirco (10/5): Bella scoperta - Posizione centrale a Vietri. Ottima vista dal terrazzo. Camere nuove arredate con mobili essenziali ma nuovi. Letti comodi . Bagno con ceramiche tipiche. Passavano a pulire la camera nonostante fosse un beb. La signorina Veronica che ci ha accolti è stata molto gentile e ci ha dato molte informazioni utili. Ventilato abbiamo dormito senza condizionatore. Camere tranquille. Presente cucina condivisa con macchina caffè e bollitore . Anche terrazzino panoramico vista mare condiviso con altre camere. Camere ampie. La stanzetta dei bambinj aveva tetto spiovente e bisogna stare attenti se si è molto alti. Il beb è di fronte al duomo e quindi la mattina le campane si sentono bene. Ma con le finestre chiuse si sopporta. Secondo piano senza ascensore da tenere in considerazione se si hanno valigie pesanti o ingombranti. X noi non è stato un problema
• Kiley (10/5): I am already recommending it to friends and family! - My main “look fors” during the search to stay on the Amalfi in an accommodation were all ticked with the stay! This made the trip extremely peaceful and stress free. I was looking for a place that had air conditioning, a responsive host, a nice view of the sea, and a short walk to the sea. This place ticked all the boxes EASILY!! I would HIGHLY recommend this place! It would be more convenient to have more pillow options (firm/soft), but it’s nothing that made an inconvenience of the trip!

• Bisiboy (9/5): Stunning Views in the heart of Old Town of VSM - The location is absolutely top notch. Its in the middle of the old town overlooking the Church and the views from the balcony of the marina are just breath-taking. Veronica was super helpful and professional in assisting us with the check-in and advising us on the places to dine. She even runs her own Scooter rental service and gave us a nice discount - so I would recommend renting scooters from her only (none of the online exorbitant providers are reliable and hassle free in my opinion) I would love to have the option of a more extensive breakfast (one croissant and coffee just doesn't cut it for me). This is a suggestion more than a complaint since the listing had this clarified very clearly.

• Glenn (10/5): Nice place to stay. would stay again. - room and location were excellent. we took the parking option that worked out well. english was spoken by the host. breakfast was a disappointment. it was provided at an offsite coffee bar, which was not a problem for us, it only consisted of one cup of coffee and a croissant. this was by far the least we have ever received on all of our B&B travels.

The room was a little bit small and not properly comfortable but Gianluca and her friend were very kind. The breakfast at the bar Gida, the owner and girl present in the bar were not flexible. I couldn' t eat croissant and I asked to have as replacement an orange juice and a coffee and the they refused but in a rude mode asking the difference of price concluding that was not enough what they received from the B&B regarding breakfast. Bad treatment for new clients not advisable.

• Sedaghati (10/5): Great location and amazing views - Very nice and clean small hotel right next to the old cathedral, with a beautiful common rooftop where you can eat/drink while enjoying views of the amalfi coast. The owner is also very nice and friendly and gave me some very nice tips about good restaurants in town. The church bell going off right next to the hotel is a bit startling but that’s the price you pay for the central location in an old southern Italian town. Not a criticism of the hotel of course

We really enjoyed our stay and were sad to leave after just one night! Also the view from the terrace on the roof is absolutely stunning. Our room was very small. It was no problem for a short stay but we had a bit of a struggle with opening our luggage and storing it but you can ignore that fact when you are in a beautiful area as the amalfi coast because you won’t be spending a lot of time in your room anyways!

Yes, it can get a bit noisy, because of the Duomo being just in front of the building, but we were away during the day so no issue at all. The host is very nice, he gave us same tips too. Breakfast is café and croissant, typical Italian style. Definitely recommend! -

Location: we loved it. Just opposite the fascinating Duomo, there’s a small terrace too from where you have the amazing view of the coast. Coffee machine available and a small fridge in the room are a cool touch! Very appreciated! Room and toilet were lovely and clean, towels are so soft. We stayed in the double room Blues. Loved it! We loved the experience but if I have to find a fault, it’s just about the bells. We didn’t mind them, but the Duomo is a few meters away and some people can find it annoying. It was not annoying for us, we actually find them cheering! Overall we think it’s a perfect value for money. Thank you Gianluca!
• James (10/5): We highly recommend Vietri Sul Mare, this particular bnb, and this host over the overrated and overly crowded neighborin - The location! The views! Open your windows either to Chiesa di San Giuseppe or to the ocean. The place is beautifully appointed, like a very comfortable modern hotel suite inside then you step outside into very old Italy, across from a gorgeous church, cobblestone alleys, shops and restaurants. Also our contact Gianluca was amazing! From answering the little questions to saving us when our car broke down, he was there when we needed him and a wealth of helpful information! It’s not that we didn’t like them, but be advised that the final stairs are steep, winding and narrow. We traveled light but can’t imagine someone with a lot of big luggage managing it.
• Solene (10/5): This is a gem!! Amazing! - It is a phenomenal little gem! Our hosts Gianluca greeted us, showed us around the neighborhood, gave us great adresses, explained the apartment and was very kind and respectful. The BnB is not only stylish, confortable and incredibly well situated, but the views are mind-blowing, whether on one side of the building on churches, or the other side on the common terrasse with the entire city at your feet. I recommend this place 100%, we loved every bit of it! Thank you to Gianluca for everything!

• Maarten (7/5): Good - The location is in the city center and you have a nice view over the sea and the city from the terrace. Rooms were nice and cleaned everyday. The staff was friendly and helpful. They provide you with all the info you need and request. Missing the personal touch with the owners. First day they give you a great welcome, tips and info needed. But the day after most of the communication is via WhatsApp which is still useful but.for me personal touch is also important. Expected more from the breakfast

• ひやまっしゅ。 (10/5): 目の前の教会の鐘でお目覚め。 - とてもすてきな宿でした。 街の教会の目の前で、すてきな鐘の音色で目覚め。共有テラスからは街越しに海が眺められます。 部屋には部屋ごとのカラーに応じた陶器の小物が使われていて、とてもおしゃれで楽しいです。部屋もとてもきれいでした。 強いて言うなら、歯ブラシとカミソリ、リンスがないことくらいかな？
