Guest Reviews
- Jill (10/5): -
- Camilledl83 (8/5): - Maison très jolie, personnel très sympa Le petit déjeuner devrait etre un peu amélioré afin de proposer des aliments chauds
- Kerri (10/5): Just do it. Come to this place. - From the moment we walked in, it was private, friendly, and so so clean. The perfect environment to just "be". I enjoyed it all.
- Guest (10/5): -
- Laurel (10/5): -
- Alice (8/5): Worth a try - Quirky building (atypical of Houston) and a nice change from the usual hotel chains. Great to have enough food choice to eat when arriving late at night The area is not the nicest
- Michael (10/5): My stay was fantastic! From the pool, rooms, and kindness of the staff, everything was great! - The breakfast and snacks available are wonderful! The rooms are beautiful and Nick was great, and made us feel like family. There is honestly no other place I'd stay to enjoy the area. Its so close to so many great locations and easy to book.
- JENNA (7/5): Beautiful bed and breakfast with some quirks. - The house is beautiful and they keep the kitchen stocked with snacks and beverages and even some light meals for guests to access at any time, which is really unexpected and nice. When I arrived a little early of when my room would be ready there was no one there. I expected to be able to sit in the lobby and wait and charge my phone but I arrived to a house with a locked gate and had to leave for a while and come back. Also charging per use of the hot tub is odd and the main reason I booked this place was to have access to the hot tub before and after my race so that was disappointing.
- clarissa (10/5): i loved the aesthetic, it was a luxury - i love the home feeling , i loved the staff , its a great place. no toothbrushes or paste
- Alan (7/5): - The Hotel was clean and he room was ok There was no hot breakfast and very limited choices, one of the primary reasons I picked this hotel was because it said it had a good breakfast.
- GAI XIA (9/5): Very nice stay ,quiet and easy to go ,next to downtown - The decoration and atmosphere Food just so so
- Teris (9/5): -
- Amanda (10/5): Very convenient, comfortable, welcoming and visually fun place! -
- Kevin (3/5): Nie wieder! - Kostenfreie Parkplätze. Die Lage eine Katastrophe! Unterkunft ist absolut überteuert. Frühstück ein Witz.
- Christina (8/5): Unique and quiet. Perfect for couples to relax. - Beautifully decorated and elegant place. Unique find. Breakfast is very limited.
- Vanessa (10/5): The host was very helpful and showed us around which was very nice. The atmosphere is very calm and peaceful great for a - Unique and different from most hotel stays. The hot tub didn’t work:(
- Sadie (10/5): -
- Jamel (7/5): We had fun and would stay again. - The breakfast could’ve been much better but I was glad they at least have something to munch on. The location was private and very nice. The stairs in the bedroom, other than that it was pretty nice. Our stay was very quiet and private which I loved.
- Robert (10/5): -

- Robert (10/5): - Very close and convenient to the Museum district. We enjoyed our stay. Nice greeting from Nick, the onsite manager. He was very helpful with every request we had during our stay. We recommend staying here. Although: Two things to consider before booking. 1) There is no breakfast served. 2) There is no daily Maid services, even though we stayed five nights?
- Pierre-Hugues (1/5): -
- Darcy (10/5): -
- Denisha (10/5): - Had the most absolutely amazing time. This will be where we stay every single time we go to Houston. It was so quiet and everything is so luxurious. 10/10 no notes!
- Michele (10/5): - We stayed here this past weekend while in town for a concert, and it was such a memorable experience. The inn has so much charm and character, definitely not your average stay. If you get the chance, go up to the tower - the view is absolutely beautiful! The beds were incredibly comfy, and I slept like a rock after a long day. Nic, the manager, was so personable and made us feel right at home, taking time to explain everything as we got settled. I would absolutely stay here again in the future!
- Cindy (10/5): - This was a wonderful place to stay!!
- Catie (10/5): - This is a fantastic stay for a couple retreat, girls trip, or whatever you're looking for. Everything you could need is close and the rooms are beyond comfortable. The parking is very limited, but overall fantastic
- Jenni (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jamie (10/5): - Houston Towers Inn is lovely! Everything is immaculate and well thought out. The decor is almost curated like a museum. We had a bath tub in our room and wow it was wonderful. We paid extra to have the hot tub one night. Totally worth it. There’s some road construction near the highway and interesting to navigate. We didn’t notice road noise at all like previous reviews mentioned. We use sound machines when we sleep though. Barely saw any other quests. Folks were quiet and friendly. The pool area was great and so was the deck. The view from the top tower was priceless. Highly recommend. Don’t be fooled by the drive there or the rules. It’s worth the stay and the hosts are particular for a reason. Extremely kind and friendly. So many details they thought off! We will be back!
- Corina (10/5): - The property is lovely. It's beautifully funnished. It exceeded our expectations of a boutique hotel. It has a beautiful outdoor area with pool and a lookout tower that provides a fantastic city line view.
The roooms are quaint and clean. And we appreciate that the accommodations are adult only.
We will definitely stay again.
- Karen (10/5): - Love love love!
Great cozy space. Very pleasant staff
- Yvette (8/5): Very good - A lot of privacy and peace and quiet, just what I was looking for. The room was clean and spacious. The swimming pool is in the shade and quite cold, but I loved the sun terrace where I spend most of my relaxing weekend ;-). Private parking.q
- Barrie (10/5): - Great
- Erika (10/5): Exceptional - Location was great, good value, awesome place to stay atmosphere was great! We will definitely return here for our Houston outings! None
- Daeton (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ajay (10/5): - Unique property in an old early 1900’s home. Nice little history behind it.
- Tramaine (4/5): Never AGAIN, I can spend my money where I’m welcomed. An adult place where your treated like kids. - The overall decor was nice and I like how each individual room was themed . Well I immediately was displeased with the location . It was near the highway which was extremely loud. I also recognize this place located in the urban area which had a lot of rough areas near by. Beyond that my group and I wasn’t greeted with a warm welcome as we saw the property manage give other people . The worse part was being awakened by the sound of some squeaky & squealing and later find rat droppings in our room.
- Ariella (10/5): Exceptional -
- Paul (9/5): A must. - Spotless. Wonderfully decorated. The neighborhood.
- Elaine (8/5): Well Equipped Room, Accessible Location - Room was well equipped, including walk-in closet, bath with great shower, coffee maker, bathrobe, slippers, and chairs. Location is not in walking distance of amenities and attractions, but is easily and quickly accessible by car. Everything was fine, would visit property again.
- Omar (10/5): Exceptional -
- Thomas (9/5): delightful - The house was wonderfully appointed. If we travel to Houston again, we would make sure to stay a day or two to explore and enjoy just the house! Not sure if we were late for the breakfast. There were a few individually wrapped biscuits (I think three total), that we shared with our coffee/tea. Also, the gfi plug in the bathroom would not reset. The manager/owner was informed upon our departure and he said he would look into it.
- Servando (10/5): Exceptional - When we arrived I was a little standoffish at first because this place looks nothing like a hotel, but once inside I was greeted by a very friendly older gentleman. He showed me around and I was taken back by the beauty of this place. All in all we really enjoyed the character and charm of this so called hotel.
- Arlene (8/5): Very good -
- Ashley (10/5): - The house was absolutely beautiful and a dream! Our host, Nick, was very attentive. Our comfort and experience were top-notch!
- Jolie (10/5): - A hidden gem. Loved our staycation.
- Desi (10/5): Art Lovers! - Art lovers! Walking through this hotel was like walking through a gallery. There are beautiful pieces everywhere, the hotel itself is a work of art.
- Christine (10/5): Loved our stay, will happily return - comfortable and quiet no complaints
- Kandace (8/5): Great location. Quick access to Downtown and very quiet oasis. - Cleanliness and polite staff. Very quiet property. Excellent location. Very nice and well maintained. There were so many places to eat and go within 5 minutes away. It was a bed and breakfast but no stove downstairs. Only one microwave in common area.
- Farahiyah (9/5): a pleasant experience - cosy, warmth, good location with nearby amenities, ample parking if you drive, friendly and great caretaker
- Pepper (8/5): A truly unique wonder to behold. - This building is a hidden gem near downtown Houston. It has a fascinating history, design, and ongoing life that adds a delightful sense of intrigue to any visit to the Bayou City. The location is central and convenient to all manner of activities and amenities downtown. The décor is truly one-of-a-kind and nearly a museum in and of it itself, with numerous little discoveries to delight a guest from the art, architecture, furnishings, and more. Clearly a lot of love, time, vision, personality, and resources have been put into this one-of-a-kind build. However, a consequence of this level of customization and investment means that there are a lot of features of the building that are still being finished, repaired, or designed. The only real problem with that is that it can lead to some assumptions that are not ideal.
When we stayed, my wife and I were delighted to be upgraded to a fairy tale suite with a magnificent tower and custom amenities. The bathroom was clearly a custom design with unique fixtures. It took a while to familiarize myself with how the facets and shower worked. Upon initial inspection, I noticed that the sink faucet was a little loose, however it was clearly another custom design (two saucers: the sink and the faucet, flowing water into one another) so I assumed that the looseness was a feature of the design to help a user guide the water. Additionally we noticed blue painter's tape under the facet saucer, so my wife and I again assumed that was supposed to be there, or at least the faucet was still a work in progress, therefore we didn't think to bring up the loose faucet to the staff.
Later, after finishing our stay, the staff contacted us about the loose faucet and asked if we knew that the faucet was broken. We didn't think it was broken, though loose, it had turned on just fine with water flowing and stopping as directed, so we were perplexed to hear that it was actually broken. Understandably, the building staff was concerned that we had inadvertently broken the fixture and, because we didn't think to bring it up upon arrival, had no way of knowing that it was loose from at least the time we had arrived. This created an unfortunate circumstance where it was unclear what had happened to that fixture and when.
- Martin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gregory (9/5): Nice place and will stay there again. -
- Thoma (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ricardo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Carla (10/5): This is by far the most beautiful and luxurious place I have ever stayed. I felt like a queen. - We could use the kitchen facilities to make breakfast but we never did. I would have loved to go up to the tower but we didn't have enough time and we weren't sure if it was allowed.
- Roland (10/5): Everything was wonderful and we will absolutely be going back. - It was an absolutely beautiful building, with a lovely owner. The bed was comfortable, we had a terrace that was relatively secluded for privacy. That I didn't stay long enough to spend downstairs in the common area looking at all of the knickknacks.
- Christina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Josh (10/5): Exceptional -
- Viktormerlot (4/5): Very disappointed! - Location was nice but, not worth the trouble Nick has caused. Staff, Nick was too involved, felt like I had no privacy. There's also cameras everywhere you turn. To make matters worse, Nick is attempting to steal my $100 "hotel hold". Has changed the transaction into another general hotel charge. He made other attempts too but, I blocked them. There were NO damages to the room- I have video. I've reported it to my bank while he has not returned my calls/msgs. He then claimed to Booking.com that I was a "no-show"! Even after I paid $277, an additional $100 hold, have invoices & pics/vids on my stay?! SHADY. I would definitely AVOID if you're looking for a private getaway. Upon arrival you will sign the most absurd policies ever at check-in. They claim to practice C-19 measures but, don't wear a mask. (I can care less for that). The heated pool was not available for use, the elevator to observation deck needs to be reset if you want to use (meaning you have to call Nick), the jacuzzi tub didn't work, very small room.
- Albert (10/5): - We loved the uniqueness of the architecture and the room. The spiral staircase and skylight were very cool. The common area tower parapet gave a beautiful view of Houston.
- Jonathan (10/5): - Everything from the rooms, to the service, location, the beauty of it was just excellent. Will be on my list of places to stay in Houston from now on.
- Toni (10/5): - We absolutely loved our stay here! The owner was wonderful and helpful, the room so clean and comfortable and the common areas were gorgeous. We would definitely recommend this place anyone.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Amazing! - This is a very nice, quiet establishment. Make sure you make time to enjoy all the ins and out of the Towers, from art to wood work. The hosts were very nice and courteous, can't wait to get back!
- Nadiya (10/5): Absolutely Amazing!!! - This place was just as good as the pictures show. The hospitality was beyond my expectations. We wish we had more days off to stay more nights to enjoy all that they had to offer. Looking forward to a future visit.
- Ashley (8/5): - We enjoyed the fairytale suite one evening and overall it was a pleasant stay. The owner was friendly and helpful, facilities tidy and clean. Not noisy in the evening.
- Jayda (10/5): - Amazing little gem hidden in Houston close to downtown. It is beautifully decorated and very unique. The bed was sooo comfortable. Loved having a private access to the patio. Definitely can not wait to stay there again.
- Aletha (10/5): Lovely and peaceful bed and breakfast. - This is a gorgeous and unique bed and breakfast. Beautifully appointed with lovely authentic decor from all over the world, which you could spend hours absorbing. Nick is the owner and host and is solicitous and helpful. The bedding is comfortable and luxurious. The buffet breakfast has something for every palate.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Houston Towers was the perfect spot for a getaway weekend. Minutes away from great restaurants and the museums. So many room options too for return visits.
- Carlos (10/5): - Houston Towers was such a nice stay for our anniversary. Very unique hotel that is beautiful. Lots of attention to detail and Nick the owner was lovely. Would highly recommend this stay.
- Li (10/5): Wonderful And beautiful one of a kind experience - This is my husband 77 years old birthday trip ...
- Verified traveler (10/5): - At first I was a little skeptical as to what I got myself into, but it is such a unique B&B! Every corner has something interesting. I stayed in the Urban room and the bed in there is super comfy and soft! Breakfast was nothing short of AMAZING! If I could stay another night here I would.
- Maureen (10/5): - Wonderful accommodations, well furnished, clean, great city views, relaxing.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Ok first off this is an older mansion type B and B. So the building has some unique issues. The main issue for me was it’s either all Hot air or all cold air thought out the house. The owners know about have done the best they can to fix it. It’s also a Houston problem. One day it’s 80 degrees in the winter and the next do it’s 30 degrees. Over all they have done quite well with what they have. I was very impressed. Another problem was the tub and the shower. The tub was laid into its space and it was sort of crooked when you stand in it. More like the tub is not level on the floor. Slanted. Also the shower he’d is very top quality. The plumber who installed the shower head must have been 5’6. The shower head was about 6’1. I have seen this a lot in Mexico. Overall I understand the problems. The owners have done quite well with what they have.
- Elizabeth (10/5): awesome - Very welcoming and exceptional service
- Chad (10/5): - Stayed in the Texas Tower Suite. Could hear the people above us walk around... Other then that, it's one of the coolest/unique places to stay!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The bathroom in the room we stayed in this time had a step up, and then, of course, a step down, but no warning of this. I am old and heavy and tripped going in the first time, then I knew to watch.
- Victoria R (10/5): - Beautiful place! Love how close it is to everything and the view of downtown Houston from the balcony is so pretty!! Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a quiet intimate place to stay.
- Chris (10/5): Outstanding facility and service - Once again, the Houston Towers has met and exceeded my expectations as the premier location for short stays near the MD Anderson medical facilities. It is less then 2 miles away from each of the major centers and provides a true "home away from home". Nick and the staff are warm friendly folks who make your stay great. From facility cleanliness to breakfast on-site, you just can't beat Houston Towers.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This is a gorgeous and special place full of character, providing a full experience which goes above and beyond the normal impersonal hotel experience. The decor is fine, with beautiful details everywhere you look. The two lovely managers were extremely friendly and accommodating. The beds and showers and sheets were luxuriously comfortable. It's a small place so you can meet and chat with other travelers, or be left alone at your choice. There is a lovely balcony with seats to see the stars at night. The breakfast is filling and high quality. Overall a posh, quaint experience and accommodating to every whim.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - You should check other people's reviews. They charge you extra for another person when you first arrive, want to copy your driver’s license, the water pressure on the shower is horrible, they charge you extra for hot water, arriving late, early checkout. The operator is an aggressive person with an attitude that threatens you every step of the check in and stay to try to find another place late at night. The neighborhood is dangerous and ugly.
Do not use this location again. The fantasy of a princess room is actually a witch’s nightmare.
- William (10/5): Elegant ambiance - One of the best values we've ever had in a hotel. Everything was first class. This is a B&B which provided a wonderful breakfast. It is in the heart of the museum district and is itself a museum. The Russian heirlooms and displays are themselves museum quality. The bedrooms are not expansive, yet very comfortable and the wrap around shower with the overhead rain faucet was a treat. Nick & Natalie were perfect host. Elizabeth, the cook and cleaning lady was super friendly and fixed that fabulous breakfast I mentioned earlier. Stay at this place, you'll love it.
- Antoine (10/5): - Unique place! Really enjoyed our stay in the Skylight bedroom.
- Aleasha (8/5): Cool place to stay - Very nice place. Comfortable bed and facilities. Breakfast was very good and staff very friendly. Couldn’t get the remotes to work in the bedroom but wasn’t there to really watch tv either. Interesting place to walk around and look at added details throughout.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very unique place to stay. The breakfast was amazing!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This place is really cool - beautifully designed and appointed.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Real funky looking from the outside, probably the most interesting small hotel (7rooms) in Houston and for that matter a lot of other cities.
Inside does not disappoint either, it is elegantly furnished and decorated with lots of little surprises wherever you look.
Has a very nice outside pool area and patio and there are other areas for relaxing or BBQs.
We stayed in the Captains room which we found to very comfortable and nicely decorated. We especially loved the electric fire which added to the ambience in the room.
Breakfast is buffet style and is mainly European style with cooked and cold meats and cheeses, a variety of cereal and toast is also available with spreads.
This is an adults only hotel and we found it very quiet which was how we like it.
Be aware there is a $60 fee for check ins after 9pm.
Friendly and efficient staff.
Very enjoyable stay.
- Chris (10/5): Ecellent place to stay! - The Houston Towers is one of the best hotels I have stayed with as the management and staff are friendly, the rooms are super clean, the breakfast is excellent and the ambiance makes for a very relaxing stay..
It is very convenient to MD Anderson and downtown Houston and especially to NRG stadium I would recommend this for any visitor to Houston. % stars in my book!
- Brittney (10/5): Relaxation at its finest - I love staying here when I come to Houston for work. There’s nothing like relaxing once I leave the office. I will be back soon!
- Robert (4/5): - I wasn’t informed until the day I was arriving that check in ended at 9:00 pm so I had to pay an additional $60 for a late check in as my flight didn’t arrive until 10:00. The water pressure in the shower was minimal. And the breakfast isn’t served until 8:00 which was the time of my appointment.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We were looking for an experience that was different than just another cookie-cutter hotel and we were not dissapointed! This is an amazing little getaway spot nestled at the edge of a neighborhood right off of South Freeway 288. It is conveniently located close to the heart of Downtown Houston, both universities, and the Museum District. This bed and breakfast is immaculate! Super clean, beautiful decor and architecture, delicious breakfast buffet with a range of options, nice pool area, and a very friendly staff. Would recommend if you are looking for a unique place to stay that allows you convenient acess to either university or all that downtown has to offer. We will definitely choose to stay here again next time we have business in Houston!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Wonderful! - Beautiful property! The host was very warm and welcoming. First time ever at a B&B. Nice quiet stay, centrally located near several tourist attractions. We enjoyed the captains room, which included the most amazing shower ever!! The pool was private and relaxing, along with a rooftop deck to enjoy the city skyline. We absolutely loved everything, and will definitely return!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Quiet, cozy, good find. - Very comfy and relaxing. Loved the shower and bed. The outdoor spaces are quiet and very Zen. Loved the antiques. Innkeeper was very friendly and helpful. Area is still a bit sketchy so probably would not walk around; the hotel has a tall fence and few neighbors. Never heard city traffic (hotel is super close to downtown and museums). I would stay again.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Worst hotel experience we've ever had - My wife and I travel all the time - easily 10 weekends a year. We've never had to leave a hotel mid-stay - until now.
At first everything looked fine but very overpriced. But almost immediately we both had strong allergic reactions, the place smelled like mildew, and there was pretty obviously mold in the crawlspaces that opened into the closets of the room. The staff at the hotel could not have been more impolite to us when we left, repeatedly refused to acknowledge there might be a problem, and never once apologized. (We never asked for, or received, any money back.)
We were fooled by the small number of good reviews into staying here. If you're reading this, I hope you don't make that mistake.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This place is unique and beautifully decorated. The room was comfortable and had an amazing shower, small refrigerator and coffee maker. Breakfast was wonderful as well. We will be back
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The room is clean and quiet and I got a great night's sleep. The neighborhood is a little sketchy, but easy to navigate.
- Teri (10/5): - The entire property was well kept and beautiful. The breakfast buffet had much variety. The beds were extremely comfortable and the sheets were soft. We had a great stay.
- Randall (10/5): A lil’ perfect gem in the heart of Houston! - Absolutely tremendous property, where no attention to detail was spared. Amazing location, beautiful space and a wonderfully welcoming and accommodating staff! Cannot recommend enough!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very beautiful small boutique hotel, recently remodeled, but full of wonderful things like a museum: anscient rugs, furniture, paintings, sculptures. Great breakfast, very comfortable beds, fine linens, very nice owners. It's a gem!
- Judi (10/5): Great Stay - Very unique large home close to downtown and at the edge of the Medical Center.
