- Clint (10/5): - The Loft is centrally located and was very clean. I was in town for a funeral and I had just driven up from Shreveport. I went upstairs to see if perhaps they had an area I might be able to change and freshen up a bit. Joy was cleaning another room an dropped everything and cleaned my room. I can't thank her enough. I highly recommend ‘The Loft”. No elevator and the room was a little cold

The room is in bad shape with water damage, holes in the ceiling and walls. The window AC is so dirty that we didn’t want to use it.

Was quiet at night, no disturbances. There is a flight of stairs to be aware of if you have physical limitations. Just had to take it slow!

The beds were large and comfortable. The owner/staff was friendly and accommodating. Water pressure was a little low and it took a while for the shower to get hot.

- Selena (8/5): Impressive historic hotel on 2nd floor above shops at the square. It was worth climbing stairs! LOL - Very unique and beautiful historic property! I love the special touches in the room like robes, extra towels, plenty of pillows, and the beds were comfortable. The text reminder with code for door was great, and nice and friendly welcome. Thank you for the explanation of juice, milk, coffee, snacks, cereal, etc. The small kitchen area was set up nicely, and convenient. The AC units worked really well as I was a bit worried about it being an older hotel and upstairs. It was in the 90s and very hot outside but nice and cool in the rooms. We stayed in the family suite. The bathroom was huge, too! I enjoyed the decor and nice, high ceilings - really impressive! We did not have a problem but I didn't realize there were a lot of stairs and no elevator. It was probably in the property description but I didn't see that. It was okay and I should have researched it a bit more. I will say that it was fine since we only stayed one night and light on luggage. It would have been a chore to lug a heavy suitcase up stairs though.

- Verified traveler (6/5): - Within a few minutes of entering room, a huge waterbug roach ran by husbands foot in the bathroom. When we pulled cover back on bed, another one ran up the curtain. The curtain was behind the headboard for the bed. Window unit was in the window above the headboard. Tried to cool room but air went directly to the door to hallway where there were gaps that let the air out to hallway. Kind of neat in concept but will never go back. Night was spent hot and worried we would have critters in bed crawling across us.

It was cool weather so the two window units were fine. I wonder how that would’ve been in the summer months. Otherwise, no complaints!

The kitchen was a nice bonus, with water, coffee, and snacks. The King size bed was one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on - I never wanted to leave. If you are in Magnolia, I highly recommend staying at The Loft on the Square. A great breakfast place down the block has amazing biscuits and there are a few restaurants in the square. I peeked into a few of the other rooms, and each had something special. The only complaint I have is the air conditioner placement in King Room #2. It was right above the bed and very noisy. I would suggest placing it higher in the window since there is enough space. This wouldn't bother anyone if it hadn't been one of the hottest weekends in September! :)

Beautiful , enormous and vey old magnolia trees in courthouse square. Comfortable and lovely accommodations. Snacks, continental breakfast items, good coffee. Several nice restaurants close by. Climbing stairs with baggage is challenging.

The shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispensers didn’t work because they were empty. The coffee bar didn’t have enough creamer. The ice maker was broken and filled with water. The ice holder in the freezer was a block of ice. The plastic ice tray did have ice. The rug at the foot of the bed was a tripping hazard. We have stayed here 7 years ago. The breakfast bar had better choices then. Everything was packaged. I think I remember a few fresh choices years ago like muffins.

Unfortunately we booked late on Sunday and there was no working coffee pot for the morning, no beverages or fresh ice available even though there was a sign stating help yourself. It’s got character and high ceilings and snacks and coffee. Real dishes and glasses. No plastic. Tiny shower and small bathroom. - Bolton (10/5): The Perfect Stay - The room and bathroom were spacious. The kitchen was stocked with snacks and drinks for us along with appliances if we chose to cook and dine in. There was absolutely nothing we didn't like. Everything was great.

- Robinette (8/5): - I liked the location of the Loft and the size of the room I chose. With my being there late Sat evening and Sun, no businesses were open which made it really boring. My bathroom shower had not been cleaned and the milk left for guests in the fridge was sour so we were not able to eat the cereal provided. Because there are so few guests, it's really peaceful. If you cannot climb stairs, don't stay here. I would stay here again and I do recommend it .
- Sean (6/5): Beautiful property - The good: it’s a beautiful property. Very clean and comfortable, located close to everything in Magnolia. The bad: when we arrived our door code didn’t work, so we called the number provided. It went straight to voicemail. So we were left sitting outside in the dark in Magnolia hoping we’d get a callback sooner than later. Luckily, another guest came and let us in. About 20 minutes later, we did get a callback from Jeff. He was very friendly and apologetic and gave us another code. When we did get in, the air conditioning was off. Mind you, this is August in south Arkansas, so it was pretty brutal for the first few hours as a couple of window units worked to cool down the whole 2 bedroom suite with its 12’ ceilings. I’d probably book again if I needed the space, but I’d definitely be proactive in calling about the A/C ahead of time and I wish it was a little easier to get in touch with someone when the door code doesn’t work.

The atmosphere was cozy and inviting. - Greatly appreciated the snacks and juice especially since we were traveling with a little one. The interior design was warm and welcoming. Well done. Also a special thanks to the staff for getting back with us quickly after we discovered an item was left in the room. We were able to recover it. The room with the king bed did not cool down until the a.m. hours. And we had to leave the door to that room open for air flow. I suggest adding a window unit to that room as well. Also, a set of softer pillows for sleeping with is needed! The pillows on the bed were extremely firm.

- Shaunna (10/5): loved it - we got the family sweet which has 3 beds it perfectly fit my crew the place was beautiful and it was nice and quiet they had snacks available and the internet was extremely fast they also have hulu available for you to watch with the option of renting movies overall it was one of the best places i’ve stayed
