I am used to maid service every day but not done here but I managed and was not inconvenienced.

• Michaela (10/5): Romantische Übernachtung auf dem Weingut! - Wir haben spontan eine Stunde vor unserer Ankunft diese Unterkunft gebucht. Kommunikation fand ausschließlich über SMS statt. Was allerdings ok war. Wir waren die einzigen Personen vor Ort und hatten somit das komplette Haus und die Außenanlage für uns allein. War mega schön und eine Übernachtung die uns noch sehr lange in Erinnerung bleiben wird! So viele Eidechsen haben wir auf einmal noch nicht gesehen :) Highway geht genau am Grundstück vorbei. Man hat also im Freien immer Motorgeräusche. Jedoch je später der Abend immer weniger.

Very comfortable bed and room size and bathroom were great. Just a beautiful area and we saw a lot of wild life while sitting outside. Wine was wonderful!!! Some broken chairs outside. The ice machine did not work on the fridge, and would have been nice to have the orange juice restocked each day as we were in the shared kitchen but we went and bought our own so not that big of a deal.

• Philip (6/5): Overall, it was a quick stay and we appreciated the easy check-in and restaurant suggestions. - The facility was very nicely decorated and the location was convenient for our visit. Appreciated the water, coffee and the snacks that were made available. The room was available earlier than we expected! There was a yellow liquid in the toilet when we arrived? The bed was very uncomfortable in that it was too firm. I like firm but I think a pillow top would make it more comfortable. We had to put a blanket on the bed--thankfully there was one in the closet. The coffee pot was dirty and other areas in kitchen needed thorough cleaning.

• John (7/5): Pleasant stay in Clearlake Riviera could have been better. - The location and the general layout of the property and the surrounding gardens including a wonderful rose bed with water feature that attracted the birds. The private patio. This property is promoted as a luxury villa in a vineyard with complimentary wine tasting. It goes a long way towards being that but fails to complete the journey in that it was poorly equipped for self catering and some of the equipment that was in the kitchen was dirty. There was no complimentary wine tasting as despite what it says in the publicity about daily wine tasting, the tasting room is actually only open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays and we were there on a Monday and Tuesday. In fact this must be the first time we have stayed in a vineyard and not received a complimentary bottle of wine never mind missing the supposed free wine tasting. But of course our experience is based on Europe and South Africa.
• Vicki (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful villa in a quiet location in the vineyard. Huge kitchen with everything you need. Private room and bathroom with shared lounge/kitchen. We enjoyed the attached wine tasting room, staff were lovely. Check in and out easy. As visitors to the US, we found the area a bit remote but would be fantastic if you are looking for somewhere quiet.
• Nick (9/5): Very glad we came. A nice walk in Anderson Marsh Park and a visit to wild Diamond Vineyards are highly recommended - the - A little gem in this area. Very high quality accommodation. Use of kitchen with fridge essentials, coffee, snacks, lounge and private outdoor area. We were offered a complimentary wine tasting and were well looked after by Shannon. There is some traffic noise, but it is minor. Overall the place is very peaceful.
• Samira (1/5): The descriptions were not right - It was very clean. The description was not accurate. It was listed as a hotel but apparently it was an experience like airbnb with no actual person to interact with. The place did not seem to safe to us so we left without staying the night.

• Celeste (7/5): Good - Comfortable bed, plush towels, food items provided are a nice touch. Motion detect lights came on in the middle of the night. The door lock sounded like it was resetting multiple times throughout the night.
• Yuvaraj (3/5): Poor - Liked the location and setting of the room and instructions provided for entry/exit. On the day we booked the room, looks like there was some issue with plumbing, we were unable to use the washroom as the water was not draining, this was a horrendous experience and ruined the stay and comfort. I understand this might be a one off situation. But it ruined the experience for us.
• A123124 (9/5): Superb - The shared outside area is lovely to sit and watch the sunset. The inside is well decorated, clean and comfortable. Shared kitchen is well equipped. Bed a bit hard for my liking, but hey you might like harder beds 😉

I would have liked coffee to make in the morning. Only decaf was available. The shared lounge and kitchen space with another couple was a little awkward.
• Michael (10/5): Tuscany in Cali Wine Country! - We did not want to leave. Everything was perfect, and Deniese was wonderful in going above and beyond to help us celebrate our 35th anniversary! Such peace, privacy, beauty--we were in Tuscany all over again! The grounds are unbelievable; being the only ones there on a Monday night made this anniversary one we will always remember. • Chunlin (5/5): Clean room, Incomplete Service: A Guest's Perspective - The room especially bed is clean and contains all amenities good hotel offers. I feel I didn't receive service as promised. Message from host mentioned about complimentary wine tasting, but there is none. It's bed and breakfast resort. I assume I will get breakfast, I didn't realize I have to cook breakfast by myself. Though refrigerator contains some basic stuff like eggs, however if I have to cook breakfast, I have to visit local market (which is far away) to buy some ingredients to make tasty breakfast. Here is worst part: there is an opened bottle of wine in the refrigerator when we arrive, we thought it's complimentary from host (because wine tasing bar is not open), we drink some wine. But at night, the other guest came back, then we realize the wine belongs to him, feel so bad...

It would have been nice to have a few more choices in pastries/in the fridge. That is my only suggestion. The bed was sooooo comfortable that it made me question whether or not I need a new one at home. nothing to note.

• Toni (9/5): Having a tasting room as part of your B&B is a wonderful combination. - It is a great location to visit wineries and beautiful Lake County. The kitchen and available utensils and staples were excellent. We cooked dinner both nights, which helped make the whole trip more relaxing. The free wine tasting was a surprise bonus. We bought wine and joined the wine club. We had coffee on a frosty morning in the rose garden. No issues.

Bed mattress and Pillows could be improved. The absence of any staff. No desk to do work at. Lighting had a flickering lamp. Shower head was mounted very high and made it difficult for me to reach. One shower head was not fastened well spouting out some water from connection point.

• Kathleen (10/5): Very convenient place to stay when visiting the Lake County wineries. - There was a nice variety of items in the refrigerator for us to prepare a continental breakfast or to cook up some eggs. The full kitchen was much appreciated. We also really enjoyed visiting the tasting room onsite. The common living room/ dining area and kitchen were in the center of the apartment with bedrooms opening to it from either side. Since we were the only ones there, it worked fine. If the other bedroom had been rented out, it could have been a little awkward sharing that central space. It would work great for a family or two couples traveling together.

• Susan (9/5): This was a taste of Tuscany: the lovely rooms in Tuscan decor, the grounds and vines and nice wines! - I loved that we had the common space between the two rented rooms all to ourselves since we were the only occupants. That made everything much nicer. We also lucked out to check in during tasting room hours and enjoyed that before checking in. After the tasting room closed, we enjoyed the peace and quiet in the common room with the bottle of wine we purchased! The space is tastefully decorated in a Tuscan decor. The whole place and grounds did look and feel like being in Tuscany! Self serve breakfast was only so so. For that kinda of money and self serve, some fresh local bakery goods would have been better, but I realize it is spotty bookings during the year and often days between occupants. Nicer pillows would be helpful.

• David (7/5): Reasonable price - no wifi - The location was nice. The room was comfortable and had a good common space. The price was reasonable. The staff was helpful over text message. There were snacks and coffee available to prepare for yourself. All the staff we interacted with were very nice. There was no cellphone service and the wifi did not work. When we contacted them to see if they could reset the wifi - they couldn’t - and said it only worked sporadically. This made it so we had no connectivity at the hotel. Also the ground were less lush than they looked in photos.

• Pamela (9/5): Beautiful winery all to ourselves - Outside of town. We had the whole place to ourselves. Very nice kitchen with everything you could need in it. Nice patio to sit and sip wine in the evening. No regular coffee! Only decaf and vanilla flavored for breakfast. I'm sure this was an oversight. The winery was not open so we couldn't do the complementary wine tasting it said we would get.
